I, for one, welcome their new nanny overlord. This is completely blanket but many, if not most, people who feel the YouTube is Life and vlog on it perpetually are full on narcissists. Their kid was always going to suffer, maybe with 'Amah Lynn' he'll find the attention, repetition and structure he actually needs with no other conditions but his own growth. She is a desperately needed stabilizing influence. They cannot provide this. I think deep down, they know it.
I'm all about Amah. I hope they keep her until he leaves for college. And that they never have another child. They don't have that in them. Not everyone does. That's okay.
It may be the one decent decision they've ever made for him. It may be a rare time that his mother put his needs first while fulfilling her own wants.
I'm still going to rag the tit out of them for this and whatever else strikes me- but this was a good thing.
Agreed, except still using him in two thumbnails and as the featured focus to grab views since they announced the nanny. Disgusting. They want the best of all worlds (this bleeping WORLD IS OUR PALM TREE garbage is actually the most telling thing they say). Nanny for them, nanny so they are "free," nanny so they can eat and yap away... but dragging them both along to film to use this kid's face for views. Despicable stuff.

I only started watching TTT because one of my best friends enjoyed his videos. This was pre-baby. Now that their vlogs are so family centric she won’t watch anymore. She doesn’t have kids, has no interest in kids, and no interest in the videos anymore. Have they firmly planted themselves in that “family vlog” sector now where their views will go down even more if they don’t feature Jackson at all?

I hear what you are saying but......What happens when J$ gets emotionally attached to his new mother figure and Gin either gets jealous that J$ loves Lynn more (or worse, accidently call Lynn "mommy" in front of Gin) or their channel can no longer support the expense? Poor J$ gets the worst of this deal too. He will lose the only constant that actually pays attention to him or help him.
It has already been speculated that even the best YT vloggers have a shelf life of 15yrs (give or take). How long do they have left on this lease? We are already seeing the steady decline of their channel. They see it. They know it. But instead of hiring an actual professional editor they farm out their kid to someone else to raise him. These are the most formative years. But no, they made the most selfish decision.
Best for J$? In the short term. But with the Slackers, no one lasts long in their lives. I hope the kid doesn't get too attached to her.

If these two were smart, not lazy, proactive and thought ahead (besides to their next staycation or cruise or $25K vacation), they'd be learning other skills (especially now that there's a third parent for J$ - or really, second parent since Ginn is useless) as they see their numbers declining so they can transition to having jobs that still won't pay what they get paid to do barely anything and they might actually have to... work..., but they'd still be able to support their kid for 18 years comfortably. Instead, they're going to be like the professional athletes who finally retire far past their expiration date when they're so terrible even the diehard fans boo them to get them off the field and off the team.

Already they're like washed up actors so desperate for work they sign up for Jaws 7 or yet another Hallmark movie.

If this nanny has an ounce of self preservation instinct, she will not stay long in that household. It's just too strange and as an employee Jenn will be abusing her even worse than she treated any of their long gone friends.

I'm sure being Jenn's best new friend is the #1 unwritten rule on the job list. #2 is do whatever Jenn commands.
Can you imagine having to pretend to be Jenn's best friend as she hops away from her computer every 10 minutes to spend 20 raving all about her delusionally fantastic life? Yikes. Then to top it off, she'll be spending more time talking to the nanny than working, but always conveniently vanishes the moment her child needs a diaper change.

It's going to happen. We all know it is.

The nanny will have to learn how to fake laugh more effectively than Ginn.

Complete this thought...

It has to be so awkward for the nanny when __________

I've tried numerous times to fill it in and post, but what I'm thinking is just too much to even think about. I'd love to hear other people's takes, and maybe one will be close to what I want to say but can't.
I think the whole thing is awkward. I can't imagine having another person around the whole time. I maybe get having a Nanny if you both have to work full time. They don't. Tim maybe if he put some effort into research and planning, then being out filming and adds in editing. Jenn definitely not on the editing and she goes out to film by choice. She doesn't need to be there, they'd earn as much if not more. I guess I don't understand why THEY think they need a full time Nanny coming to dinner, staying overnight etc it must be awkward as hell. How do you fully relax? How do they decide who does what when J$ needs something or gets out of bed in the night. How long before Nanny Lynne is the person he turns too most because he knows she'll fulfill his needs and how will Jenn feel? Got to be odd for their relationship too having someone else around so much. Although from what many of you have said, they're enjoying their alone park time.

My wife is a professional nanny in the UK and has worked for a lot of very busy professional families (no vloggers though.....). Most families she has been with have been long-term positions; the ones where she hasn't stayed have been where the nanny's position was a vanity role ("we're rich/posh enough to have a nanny for our kid(s)"), the parents were around a lot of the time getting in the way of my wife doing her job/telling her how to do the job, or the house was constantly unbearably untidy despite her best efforts. Do any of these sound familiar? :)

I can't believe they needed the nanny for barely an overnight stay. They arrived around dinner time did a tour, went to dinner, played a game for 4 seconds and went to bed. That air bnb is honestly tacky, the pool has no privacy & the house is just a smaller version of their crapmansion

How long till they start uploading at midnight again? Oh to be a fly on the wall that led to that conversation with those two idiots. Outcome was the nanny. What a joke.

That’s what I was wondering- how the hell does this all work? Jennbo described her as a teacher, but she is sitting at dinner with them on an overnight stay. Who is in charge then? I assume Jenny just ignores them. The whole thing is so uncomfortable. There are 3 adults to take care of one mild mannered kid when the parents have nothing to do. In home child care should be 9-5 with a schedule. This woman is already with them 24 hrs a day. That becomes a power struggle unless Jennbo just doesn’t participate & I can see her going both ways- either barking orders or completely ignoring them. In the end - J$ pays for that.

I love this reply! Hahaha! He’s right- they don’t add J$ cause it’s not a family channel. Don’t want to lose revenue.

I don't want Jenn in the videos.

Why can't I have nice things? I'm a good person. Please. Please. Bring back The Tim Tracker channel. And only The Tim Tracker.

I can't take much more of her trying to pretend she's a food critic.

God, I promise I'll go to church every Sunday if you make it so!

Yeah I mean I thought the nanny thing was kind of weird to begin with but hey if she's teaching your kid during the day and/or watching him on daytime outings to parks and zoos, sure blow your money and knock yourself out. Having her accompany you to an airbnb stay less than 30 miles from your house for dinner and a house tour...just really strange. The only thing I can theorize is (and someone mentioning 'where does she sit in the Tesla' made me think of this) maybe in addition to her being a full-time at-home teacher/nanny, part of the requirement is that she also have a vehicle and accompany them in case Tim needs to do something solo and she would be there for Jenn and the kid in case of emergency?

To be fair, Jenn just said the family were being a bit difficult and the staff handled them well. There are a lot of conclusions being drawn to what being difficult meant and nothing I saw in the vlog suggested the family involved even noticed the Trackholes. They might have been demanding on tweaks to their meal or anything else completely unrelated to their presence. Unless I'm missing something? I skimmed through because it was Jenn dominated and I also don't like to encourage their exploitation of their kid. I basically saw enough to think Jenn's boobs looked decidedly Matronly in that blouse and that bit about the other family. Awful lighting and could see J$ shadow just standing their waiting for them.

If we’re being fair…

“The family” being difficult is Jenn…Jenn is “the family”

🤣🤣🤣🤣

There seems to be a huge misunderstanding over what the COPPA rules are in relation to youtube.
The purpose of the rules are to protect viewing children, it has nothing to do with children appearing on the channel. To this day, in the US we have no laws protecting those children unless they've been declared as actors/employees. In particular, there is nothing to protect the used offspring of the channel owners. It's disgusting. *

From FTC.org:
Rule Summary: COPPA imposes certain requirements on operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13 years of age, and on operators of other websites or online services that have actual knowledge that they are collecting personal information online from a child under 13 years of age.
TTT can add Jackson to any logo they feel like, they could even make the logo him alone. As long as their intended audience is 13 and over (and it is) they'll have no issues... for now.

* Re: LLCs. Has Tim filed for an LLC? Where can I find this info? Tim should have filed for one years ago just to save himself from being sued if he trips over someone while staring at his camera.

While filing for an LLC has nothing to do with employees, and everything to do with liability, if he has done so it seems to coincide with TTT taking on the nanny. This is where it gets interesting... is the nanny an employee of the household, or of TTT? I'm curious if he will now be trying to declare Jenn and Jackson as employees of his channel so he can more legitimately write off their vacation expenses. If so, then Jackson should have the laws protecting child actors applying to him too. but only if he is declared as an actor for the channel.

I'd like to know what kind of hours they are keeping her for, like surely the woman has family an friends, most nanny's I know work during the 9-5 day, maybe evening but if they do evenings they don't necessarily do mornings, usually they have a set amount of hours per day they will do so freeing up time elsewhere for their own needs, if they are gonna start having her there all day an then dragging her to overnight stays cause they can't be bothered to watch their own child then where is the nanny's own free time to do what she wants, do they even allow days off for her? Or is she more a slave than a nanny

I don't think the nanny is a live in they just invited her on the over night stay for whatever reason. Maybe as a reward of some sort? Lol

I like to picture the nanny following along in the Trackers' Chevy Volt not riding in the front seat of the Model Y.

I don't think she's employed by the LLC primarily because I can't see the Trackers handling all the payroll and insurance stuff needed to hire a proper employee. I could be wrong though maybe they are just using ADP and other service providers but their LLC document states it is for YouTube video production, no mention of daycare or nanny hiring.
