Jenn should be beyond embarrassed that she can’t take care of her ONE child.

I have a friend who has 3 kids, ages 2.5 yrs to 10 yrs old. Her husband is a nurse and when the pandemic hit really hard in New York City, he left home in Pittsburgh to volunteer to help up there. To this day, he is still spending the majority of his time in New York in their hospitals and only comes home here and there. My friend takes care of all 3 kids, on her own all the time…including taking the kids up to NY to see their dad every other weekend.

It’s moms like her that need a break or vacation…not the trackashian wannabe.

Did she sit in the front seat of the Tesla with Tim or the backseat with J?
The beginning has someone filming from the backseat, so the nanny is definitely sitting in front. I cannot believe how ridiculous this is.

Maybe Tim was always jealous of Kody from Sister Wives and wants to haul around two women to give everyone the vibe he has two wives? 😂🤮

The nanny was there in the morning- you can hear J$ talking to her. She is a live in! These two people who don’t have real jobs can’t deal with their two year old. It’s like a bad soap opera.

I still don’t think the fact she went with them overnight is any sign that she’s actually a live-in nanny. It isn’t uncommon for a nanny to go with a family on an overnight trip. I do think the whole idea of them even needing a full-time nanny is odd, but that’s beside the point.

Regardless of whether I not I like them, or whether I think they should have a nanny or not it is very much a legitimate job, I don’t understand the weird sexualization of the position like she’s going to be some second wife for Tim that’s going on here.

People here have gone as far as claiming that Jackson is being purposely dehydrated by his lazy parents, you think you’d all be delighted they hired someone to take care of Jackson.

And I just have to add, as a wife and mother, I would be totally embarrassed and horrified to get in a car with another woman who is being paid to come with my husband and me to care for my child so I could waltz around a tacky DIY villains airbnb and talk to a camera about light fixtures and decor. I am really concerned for future J. I can't even imagine the day he is old enough to see these videos and understand that he was being used in thumbnails and video titles for views and his parents brought along a woman to parent him so they wouldn't be bugged by him.

As much as I really don’t care they hired a nanny, I still think it’s… odd they had to bring her for this overnight trip. It was one night, and it’s not like they went out on the town to review different places without him.

It isn't sexualization. Sorry that is what you got out of it. I don't know many 40 year old men who drive around their wives who can't drive and sit in the back seat and also drive around a second woman in the passenger seat who is there to stand in for their wife to mother their child for them? It is weird as duck. I don't even want to think about anything to do with them and sex. (The sister wives show I referenced is definitely not about sex, trust me. None of them are having any 🤣, well except the youngest wife he brought into the marriage which eventually made the whole thing go down the toilet. 😂)

I can't think of anything more odd and uncomfortable than a grown man tooling around in his Tesla with his wife and son in the back and another woman in the front who is staying with them overnight. I do not get it. Leave the kid at HOME if you have to pay for a nanny. Jesus.

Have they even considered, for one tiny second, if they want to even pretend to try to lose 15 pounds each, that maybe they shouldn't get fries as their side for every meal? Dim couldn't just have fries, he also had to have fried onion strings on top of his greasy burger (I mean, hey I like fried onion strings too, but I don't need to lose 15 pounds and I don't eat fried food every day).

I mean, how exactly do they think they're going to actually lose weight? Using a vegan meal box service doesn't equal low calories and doesn't cancel out how you eat the rest of the day.

I fully agree they should not be ordering up french fries for Jackson on a daily basis. They're not good for humans in general.

I've learned white potatoes are not my friend. Fry them up and while addictive, they'll add 10 lbs to my hips before they even hit my stomach. Chips and fries are rare treats here. I still love the flavor, but have broken the addiction.

:devilish: 🙃 🙄 :ROFLMAO:  🍦 :giggle:

^ My thought process when ordering french fries these days. (I only have them when traveling through airports as I need small meals that are high in calories and filling but not a lot of to keep down if I hit a bumpy flight. Fessing up, I order a kids meal, LOL, yes I look forward to that toy.)

They are really pumping out the videos. Must be their new business model - Quantity over Quality!
Plus, Gin has to justify the nanny to Dimmy. At least for a while.
new business model? that is what he has done from the beginning. Putting out daily videos to get into the algorithm

Complete this thought...

It has to be so awkward for the nanny when __________

I've tried numerous times to fill it in and post, but what I'm thinking is just too much to even think about. I'd love to hear other people's takes, and maybe one will be close to what I want to say but can't.

I thought I had seen other vloggers stay there already. Took a look and Yep, PCDev posted a video on it 4 weeks ago. Chasing Dev for content. Great comeback guys.View attachment 998351 Also, his video came up in the search first. And it’s staying with his theme lately on pricing in the area. Don’t like him, but it’s giving content lots of people would like to see from the trackers, not their splurging-special-occasion-du-jour.
For anyone wondering why companies still work with the trackers, this is why. After 4 weeks Devs video has 24k views. In 4 hours the trackers are already at 30k views.

So Elizabeth Olsen did a podcast about being the sister of the Olsen Twins and growing up in that environment. Thought it was an interesting podcast considering the Olsen twins have been on television since they were babies. It was a horrible experience for them and their sister? I can only imagine the horrors little J will endure from all that exposure

They have 800k subscribers...they better pull in larger numbers.

So Dev has a ratio of what appears to be 1 in 5 subs watched view wise.

The Slackers will be lucky to have a 1 in 10 ratio.

But that isn’t going to matter to the people trying to get exposure for their AirBNB. They don’t care that 10% of their followers are in watching - they care that 30k+ people have watched in however many hours it’s been up.

It will be interesting to see how Jackson does with a toddler bed. Both of my kids made the transition very well but I know that plenty do not. It wouldn't surprise me if Jackson struggled b/c Tim and Jen try to control him so much...he will enjoy the freedom.

They may get excited by view numbers, but a huge portion of those views are stans obsessed with the Trackers' child and T&J, and will never book this place. I would bet Dev would be more likely to actually have some viewers stay there because of his video.

Honestly, now that I’ve looked the place up, I’d be surprised if anyone gets them many if any more stays booked. I think the house is really overpriced, and it’s honestly super niche. It’s fun, yeah, but it’s overkill unless you’re super obsessed with Disney villains.

I, for one, welcome their new nanny overlord. This is completely blanket but many, if not most, people who feel the YouTube is Life and vlog on it perpetually are full on narcissists. Their kid was always going to suffer, maybe with 'Amah Lynn' he'll find the attention, repetition and structure he actually needs with no other conditions but his own growth. She is a desperately needed stabilizing influence. They cannot provide this. I think deep down, they know it.
I'm all about Amah. I hope they keep her until he leaves for college. And that they never have another child. They don't have that in them. Not everyone does. That's okay.
It may be the one decent decision they've ever made for him. It may be a rare time that his mother put his needs first while fulfilling her own wants.
I'm still going to rag the tit out of them for this and whatever else strikes me- but this was a good thing.
