It's lovely out today, bright blue skies and really feels quite warm. Saw loads of daffodils on my morning walk 😊

I love the lighter evenings and mornings. I feel like I get so much more done! And it's so much easier to get up in the morning especially when the sun's shining and the birds are singing, I love it 🥰

Thought I would revive this thread 🥰

Is anyone growing anything successfully this year? I’ve planted some strawberries a few weeks ago and can see some seedlings 🍓

I also love Tulips in the house this time of year 🌷

Happy Easter weekend everyone! 🐰

Love this thread! Love spring! I too have brought some daffodils and some lovely bits from the Range. For me it feels like life starting up again after the cold and darkness of winter.

Weekend away with my husband and the dog this weekend. Got a lovely Airbnb booked for tonight in the middle of nowhere, phone will be going away and I’ll be ignoring the world until tomorrow (cannot wait) then a night in Liverpool while my Mum kindly dog sits 🥰🐶

What are everyone’s plans for this weekend, any lovely traditions? Happy Easter everyone 🐰🐣
We've got lots of baking planned, egg hunt for the kids, and we're taking my youngest off to the park to teach him to ride his bike. I'm cooking a roast with all the trimmings too 😊.

Today we have thick fog here, unfortunately, but it’s supposed to clear up over the weekend. I’m so looking forward to it. Last summer already was not worth it and this winter also was just an endless series of darkness and fog. I’m not sure why but this time I’ve really felt it.
Planted some primroses in a container on the balcony the other week and they make me happy looking at them 🌺🌺🌺
I bought some plants yesterday so I can put a couple of pots in the garden. Like you it makes me happy looking at them 😊 🌷

I thought we’d escaped the snow where I am but nope, woke up this morning to a blanket of white outside☹ oh well only one more week of winter left thankfully!

I’m determined to make more of the nicer weather this year. I live in a flat with no garden and it’s so easy to just stay inside and miss a nice day, especially because I spend a lot of time alone. Even if I don’t have plans with friends or family I’m going to make sure I go out for a walk, a drive or even just a wander around the garden centre. No more staying inside and rotting away - gotta get that vitamin D!!

For anyone else that spends a lot of time alone: what do you like to do when the weather is nice?

The daffodils have started shooting up in the garden 😁 I’m sure last year they never bloomed and I’m not sure why so let’s hope this year 🌻 Going to start working on my Spring print to put in a frame this week, if it goes well I’ll show you 😂 and my husband surprised me with an orchid yesterday because he noticed I’d thrown my old flowers in the bin!! 😮🥰

Grass cut, decking jetwashed, new roses planted and I accidentally on purpose ordered an egg chair I've wanted for ages. On klarna so haven't told husband, it's just gonna appear - oh this old thing 😉
Can't wait for spring evenings

I'm an ardent lover of Autumn, but love the freshness Spring brings and that my culture's New Year always falls on the Spring Equinox (Nowruz). There are many blossom trees blooming where I live (it feels quite early, but I'm happy to see the blossom). I think I'll go buy some daffodils to cheer myself and my home up at some point this week 💖
