Weekend away with my husband and the dog this weekend. Got a lovely Airbnb booked for tonight in the middle of nowhere, phone will be going away and I’ll be ignoring the world until tomorrow (cannot wait) then a night in Liverpool while my Mum kindly dog sits 🥰🐶

What are everyone’s plans for this weekend, any lovely traditions? Happy Easter everyone 🐰🐣

I bloody love spring 🌸
I treated myself to some tulips and daffodils today and put them in a vase together in my bedroom and they’re making me smile ❤

I love walking and go up the lake district whenever I can. Spring is my FAVOURITE time in the Lakes because it's lamb season 🥰 so many little lambs running around, baaing, they do this cute little jump when they run too. I'll have to record them 😂
We're just on our way back from a walk, we parked in this cute village and they had planted daffodils all along the paths. Want to go back in a couple of months to see them all in bloom 😍

The large eggs in my local supermarkets are limited, so I got my boyfriend a few different things. Including French fancies, mini eggs and a medium egg.

But I also made mini egg brownies for my colleagues last night. Going to make some more on the weekend for family 🥚🐣🌈

I had to de-ice my car this morning 🤣
Me too! It’s a lovely day now though 😂

Just found this thread too 🌷💐

It's officially spring in our house as our ragdoll cat is finally going through her big shed of her winter coat (which hopefully won't last longer than 2 weeks - for the sake of my navy carpets! 😅)

The trees that we can see from our bedroom window are full of pink blossoms 🌸 and so pretty - such a shame it only lasts a little while!

It’s so nice and sunny today so I put a wash on, all excited to dry it outside for the first time this year.

Apologies in advance if we end up back in the depths of winter this afternoon, it’s my fault for putting the washing on. Happens every time
As predicted, it’s now pouring down with rain.

If anyone wants this weekends lottery numbers, give me a shout 🔮

I haaaaaaate hot weather (that 40c heatwave we had last year killed me off), but I live for spring. I'm pale and full of freckles so I BURN.

Yesterday was lovely and mild so today I've worn a short sleeve shirt to work. Omg. I am already regretting my decision. It's freezing and the wind today is unreal!! Trying to remember that April showers bring May flowers!

It’s been 15 degrees where I am today, I walked outside after work and it genuinely gave me the feeling of early Summer! 🙊 I’ve also decided I’m going to do some Easter baking for work next month - Creme egg and mini egg brownies 🍫🐰

Thought I'd venture out to the garden centre with the weather forecast to be cooler as the garden centre is usually freezing.
Wrong!!!! They'd turned off the air conditioning so I had to go rest and rehydrate in the cafe in case I passed out. Saw a gorgeous plant but it was £63. Looked like a load of pom poms. Here it is:

it's going to get up to 21c in London by next Thursday. Spring has fully sprung, ha. It's nice to get out of the shower and not be freezing cold and shivering, or having to dry clothes in the dryer because it's cold and wet out. A few hours out in the sun and the clothes are dry. Bliss. I do enjoy Autumn and Winter as well, but after months are dreariness and cold, it's a welcomed pleasure for some warmth and sunshine on my eyeballs. Ha.

In the late autumn / winter my cat usually goes out for about an hour before I go to work and then comes back indoors but yesterday he didn't come back in till I came home in the evening so him staying out all day means its warming up and spring is springing up, the next step will be for him to stay out all night.

Waking up to the birds chirping is lovely.🐦🐤🍃🌷☀
It is, and not being enveloped in darkness all the time is liberating, spring is my favourite season I love the lighter days stretching ahead and the beautiful spring flowers and the lambs in the fields.

Got new planters delivered, filled and ready to go. Starting with potatoes and onions this weekend. Also started putting bits of cat fur that I collect from grooming them out for the birds, they use it for their nests.

Well I put my bedding out to dry on the line yesterday, with LOADS of pegs because it was so windy. 30 mins later, sat in the 02 shop sorting a new contract and I got a photo from my daughter. Sheet blown into the middle of the extension’s roof. Man, getting that down was a ballsache 😂
