So excited for spring!!! My little girl won’t stop going on about the Easter bunny and chocolate eggs and my windowsills are full of seedlings happy springtime guys

Great to see this thread up and running again!! Absolutely love spring, I’m SO over the cold and the dark. I need some gorgeous daffodils with a backdrop of pure blue sky!

I know it’s cold AF but it feels so much lighter at the moment. I think it’s because the sun is slowly getting higher in the sky. We still only have snowdrops up here but I can sense the daffs are coming.

It’s close, we’re almost over the worst.

I love the idea of seasonal threads! My favourite is autumn but looking forward to spring. I’ve been pottering about in the garden this afternoon, ready to uncover all of the garden furniture!

I love the fact Easter is later this year, I feel like we’ll get to enjoy the run up to it and Spring in general a bit more Although that also means Pancake Day is ages away

You can't help but smile at daffodils in my opinion, they're just such a cheerful flower. Still so wet and cold and dreary here, hoping Easter brings some dry weather.

Been out for a nice wander - trying to shake off a bout of the sads that I've had since last year, and it's made me really happy to literally touch grass!

Today we have thick fog here, unfortunately, but it’s supposed to clear up over the weekend. I’m so looking forward to it. Last summer already was not worth it and this winter also was just an endless series of darkness and fog. I’m not sure why but this time I’ve really felt it.
Planted some primroses in a container on the balcony the other week and they make me happy looking at them

In the winter I planted masses of tulips and daffodils in the garden. It's not something I usually do but we had a tree come down in lockdown and our garden is looking a bit bare. I can see them all sprouting up and am ridiculously excited.

I bought some daffodils in Aldi this weekend, I love having daffodils in my lounge in spring

Washing on and going to hang outside before we go for a walk in the park with the dog. We’re taking the frisbees so he can have a run around, he loves them

I was up so early with the dog as he was trying to catch a fly then didn’t believe us when it was gone but I didn’t even mind, I could hear the birds singing outside even with the windows shut, I love that sound

As I was up so early I ordered some Spring bedding (I genuinely don’t have a single set, I am shocked at myself lol) and a couple of pairs of new pyjamas from Next, they have so much nice Easter and Spring things I had to come off the website before I bankrupt myself.

Dare I say Spring is even better than Summer I love both though! I love seeing everyone’s posts of how happy they are just doing normal things. The sun just makes my mood so much better

Does anyone else think the weather feels different now . Like despite still being damp , it's not so wintry now.

Omg yes I was trying to explain this to my OH yesterday. I was saying how the current rainy day is totally different to the rainy day we had in say January. It feels different, it's a Spring rainy day. He looked at me like I was mad.

Yep! One of my neighbours spent the day topless in his garden and then had a bbq The wind was freezing!
