It’s finally March and there is SUNSHINE! I am so glad I have found this thread because my god I have struggled this winter These sunny days makes me feel alive!

Today we have thick fog here, unfortunately, but it’s supposed to clear up over the weekend. I’m so looking forward to it. Last summer already was not worth it and this winter also was just an endless series of darkness and fog. I’m not sure why but this time I’ve really felt it.
Planted some primroses in a container on the balcony the other week and they make me happy looking at them

I bought some plants yesterday so I can put a couple of pots in the garden. Like you it makes me happy looking at them

I’m so glad others felt the winter was endless. We are hopefully moving soon to somewhere where there is more light (we are surrounded by hills and trees so we literally don’t get the sun for 4 months) so fingers crossed next winter will be better.

We don’t have a garden here- just a yard but in the new place we have! We’ll have raised beds and assuming everything goes well, I’ll be coming here because I will be needing advice on what to plant 🪴 (deffo spring bulbs to brighten the mood).

About my millionth post on this thread but first day in months I’ve been able to hang the washing outside! I actually had to take my coat off on a walk earlier because it was so warm in the sun and I bought some daffodils for the kitchen from the shop today. Mowed the lawn and planted my snapdragons too Spring is here, enjoy it everyone

I bought Easter bunting from Aldi on sale last year so I'll do my seasonal decor on my days off.
I had bedding on the line yesterday which aired overnight and smelled amazing!
Isn't it amazing how brighter days can totally lift the spirits!

Mine froze yesterday and then I left it all day until 5 and it was dry

Been out for a nice wander - trying to shake off a bout of the sads that I've had since last year, and it's made me really happy to literally touch grass!

A while week of sunshine predicted, everyday a little bit warmer and up to 15 degrees end of the week
I've flung the curtains open to let as much light in as possible and would love to power wash the balcony to get the verdigris off. And clean the windows, they look dire.

How much better does everything feel when the sun shines?? My house doesn’t look like a steamier because my washing has dried outside, I had bedding on the line just flapping around and it made me SO HAPPY!
There are daffs everywhere, in every room of my house, popping up outside…mini eggs….walks in the sun….i just bloody love it all!

I’m loving this weather. I came upstairs after work tonight and sat on my bed, watching the last of the afternoon sun come through the window
The lighter, brighter mornings are so uplifting too
And I made some Easter cards over the weekend too!
