Just down with the feral cats in the supermarket carpark. This one (not sure if m or f) has really sad eyes, but is very friendly and not the slightest bit scared of me.
S/he should be living a nice life indoors with someone instead of having to roam around a supermarket carpark hoping that someone will come with food in the middle of winter 😿

Oh my goodness, what a little cutie. I can see the sad eyes but looks friendly at the same time. Really sad, you're right they should be inside in the warmth with their loving owner, and belly full. Is this one always there?

There's a local rescue centre that looks after them (as well as just local people feeding them) They trap as many of them as they can and get them neutered (a local vet does it for a tiny fee) and any that are young enough to be socialised they try and find homes for. Unfortunately a lot of them are too feral and would never be able to live in a home.
That's why I can't figure out this one here. I think they would do well in a home.
There are a few that will run the minute anyone comes close and a few that are okay with people being around but don't want to be touched or picked up.

The rescue group have made lots of little shelters for them and they're hidden under the trees at the back of the carpark.
From the outside you'd never guess what's in there.

OT but I am watching Animal on netflix - big cat episode- my cat loves it, totally gripped to the tv, so cute 😻 I always find how similar domestic cats are to big cats fascinating

Oh no! Is there no other online shop you could order from? Or is Ocado same day delivery? Never used them! Morrisons on Amazon Prime usually same day slot.
since that contaminated food scandal I have noticed lots of places seem to have a smaller selection. I don't shop online but for the shops near me that is the case atm

I think a lot of it is to do with brexit/import delays. I was having problems before the scandal, they just seem to have got worse. We have the fussiest cat in the works, and she will literally eat 1 type of fish flavoured felix or canagans cat tuna that are like £1.20 each. Was an expensive few weeks!!

Not even then, the only things she’ll eat from our plates are cornflakes, cheerios and bread. I’m pretty sure she’s broken

My girl will eat Aldi dry food but not wet food. That has to be Felix or Whiskas.
She'll sniff around when we're having dinner and goes absolutely mad for meat of any description.

My kitten will literally eat anything, lettuce, olives, cat food... instead my big girl basically only eats packaged cat food (sometimes tinned tuna) and, of course, dreamies.
did anything happen with the stray cat?
