No way would that feral bunch be allowed to adopt a rescue dog.
Rescues have standards and most won’t even allow anyone with small children to adopt from them.
Unlike the unscrupulous breeders that are only in it for the money, no wonder the Radfords always head in that direction, like attracts like.

Archie is 5yrs old and has stabilisers on his new birthday bike. If they bothered to actually help him to learn then he would be able to ride his bike without. Not many presents, expected as he is not a girl.

Many 5 year olds (and kids up to about 7) still require stabilizers so I'm not going to judge on that. However, I agree that if they invested in a good quality balance bike when he was smaller, and actually spent time allowing him to ride it to and from the park etc as opposed to just pootling around the house and garden, he may be able to ride a pedal bike without stabilizers by now.

With the Radfords it's all about cost/bragging value though, they'd rather splash out on flashy electric ride on cars for their kids when they're toddlers, to put on Instagram, rather than invest in something which will actually help develop their gross motor skills.

My eldest is 7 next month and still can't ride a bike without stabilisers properly, and it's not for lack of trying on our part! She's a cautious little sausage and very risk of verse... her bike is 'too wobbly' apparently :p

they're allowed to take their bikes and scooters out on to the street, sometimes it's like an obstacle course for a few days when one of them gets something new and they just leave stuff where they want ... then the new thing is forgotten about and they're back to screaming in the garden
