I think they're renting it out because they know damn well if they sell it they dont have a hope in hell of getting their money back on it.

Overpriced finished houses, plus fees, plus stamp duty, plus price of labour for ripping the whole things out and paying an army of people to redo every single thing for them with very expensive choices, all whilst paying rent of another million quid property.

But as a rental? I don't know many people who have their specific dull and gloomy taste who are looking for a house with a 300 plug fucking editing suite in it.

Who does a rental house in the most expensive paint, with the most expensive appliances with micro cement flooring and overpriced wallpaper and pays someone a fortune to paint all the woodwork twice, because black wasnt quite right and it all needed stripping back to white again.

They have REALLY fucked this up if they are serious. I thought they'd made a financial balls up anyway, but if they lived there long term it may be ok. But clearly a month was it.

I think they both need a bit if bloody therapy. They rushed in with no experiance, made the house as expensive and miserable as they could, without a thought for practicality or the reality of actually living there, and then are still dissatisfied and want to move on after a month.

This was all one big ego and vanity project for the gram that has massively backfired on them.

I’m a long time reader of tattle, rarely comment but I just have to say this. I’ve seen a few times on here about people loving the times when she was doing the make up bags etc... please just know those bags were the idea and design of someone else who exudes talent. It was meant to be a joint venture but these 2 made sure it became all about them and the original designer is just too nice to have put up an argument. So the bit when you all loved her was a rip off of someone else’s hard word.

As for Hannah bloody hell look at the state of her. She behaves like an old woman constantly berating Stef like he’s her 3rd child. I thought when you move out of London everything changes for the better? Isn’t that the song they were singing? They need to sell up and move back to the big smoke, they’ve totally lost it.

Couldn’t watch the new format YouTube video for long. I never really watched them for their opinions so I’m not about to start now. I used to enjoy the domestic stuff interspersed with silkies & soothing music - it was accessible & aspirational. Not so keen on the skits or the chat. Why not have different YT channels - or indeed different platforms - for different content? I’m worried they are killing the goose that laid the golden egg because of Stef’s desire to innovate & be seen as an edgy creative. Most OG followers were there because of Hannah & her style/make-up, not because they give two hoots about what Stef thinks about the state of world politics. What are they trying to do - educate, inform, entertain, sell...it’s all getting a bit self referential & circular. I think maybe Stef wants to get into MSM as a presenter or reporter so wants to re-position himself as a contrarian programme maker but I’m not sure this is his strong suit. He’s no Charlie Brooker. Hannah just goes with the flow not realising that in many ways she is the biggest asset. It’s a shame really, as I like them a lot.

They had their mortgage advisor over again and want to buy another house because they don't feel happy with the one they have. They're going to rent it out or air b&b it.

This is exactly what I've said all along.
They rushed into it and paid someone to do the whole thing up without even living there first and seeing how the space worked for them. Like most people do before they start such extensive renovations.

And now they've spent so much on an overpriced and already finished house, to then have someone gut it, rip out a perfectly nice kitchen and spent such an obscene amount of money doing it up to their very specific taste that they will never be able to sell it and make their money back on it.

You don't spend that kind of money on such a high end bespoke kitchen, kitting out the electrics on an editing suite with bloody wired in backlit snowboard and all the gadgets and smart features for their specific needs, just to think about moving out a month later.

What an utterly shit move on their part.

They are clueless.

I lost count of how many times Hannah said things like "we use this room/spot/area as a sort of dumping ground" in the latest house tour. Their whole house is a mess and looks like you could barely walk around! It just looks awful.

Also, I feel as if Stef is taking what he is doing *way* too seriously. He was saying how he missed putting up a video because he essentially wrote himself into a ditch. He's not writing a novel or screenplay - they're making bloody vlogs on youtube. He needs to get over himself. And switch jobs, or at the very least make his own channel for the super profound intellectual eccentric bullshit that nobody asked for nor wanted.

These two are completely tedious. You can tell Hannah just wants to be a yummy mummy, living in a Boden style bubble. Dull as dishwater. Stef hates living away from all the action. He thinks he's a cutting edge creator. Soon realised Bath would be country walks, and having to socialise with Lib Dem parents. No Shoreditch coffee bars, London galleries,street art or media do's. Be interesting to see how long they can sustain this soft focus, sentimental, let's watch our kid's play in the woods tosh. He's really not funny. Just juvenile.

I can’t think of anything worse than all that driving with two kids and mine are quite good in the car.

I also think it must be a strange existence for those boys, they were both plaything on the bed this morning and their dad is crouched down filming with with a massive camera for YouTube and their mother stood there filming them with her phone for Instagram, like animals in the zoo!

I have to say, I used to love them. It wasn't the move to Bath or change of video style that put me off, its the arrogance that they both seem to have developed in the last couple of years. I just can't be arsed to sit and watch them sat on a sofa, his mansplaining and interrupting everything Hannah says and Hannah looking down her nose with absolute contempt at the camera.

I think it was a shitty thing to film, but Rufus having an accident wasn't abnormal.

He is two years old, having an accident is perfectly normal. That's the point.

Shoving a camera in his face, posting it for the entire world to see, making a huge fuss so he looks ashamed and making the poor kid walk back with wet pants and snap at him for waddling uncomfortabley is not normal. Its cruel and awful and humiliating.

Kids have accidents. They get embarrassed and upset. Keep a spare pair of joggers in your bag, pick him up and tell him it's ok for christ sake.

No one has ever died from wetting their pants. But shame and humiliation and worry can have a huge impact on children, even at such a young age. That kid needed a hug and 'dont worry, we'll fix it'.
