From what I get from the situation is that if they actually attended that appointment instead of going on holiday Mila could of been given something to help her hip until she was a bit older for surgery? It’s obvious sitting in a car seat for long hours as escalated it to the point where it’s got so bad surgery is the only option?

Also them trying to blame the NHS doctors whenever something doesn’t go their way is just disgusting. There is no legitimate reason for a consultant to lie and if he knew that Mila would be in a car seat for hours a day he would advised them to postpone their trip.

They need to be thankful that Mila isn't being taken away from them due to their NEGLECT. If they didn't travel this could be a less risky situation. Also compared to A LOT of other children she at least is healthy.

My cousin was born three months premature, he almost didn't make it. They need to count their blessings.
Probably didn’t help squashing her into sleep suits too small for her

I suggest as many people as possible contact Tefal ,I wont buy their products now
I don’t watch them. What have tefal done?

I can’t imagine getting awful news about my child and my first response being to sit in a corridor and vlog about it, instead of immediately going to tell my other half the news. Who the hell does she think she is telling a camera before telling the father?? Why make him wait to hear the news a second longer then he has to 🤬🤬🤬

How are they getting the treatment in January. We waited 4 months for my sons surgery pre covid and he was classed as super urgent top priority given his age (14 months) and how bad it was. So many parents in the Facebook group I'm part of have had their little ones ops cancelled or postponed as they didn't do them for months during lockdown.

That said they made the biggest mistake moving from Leeds as the surgeon who did my son in lgi is the best in the country.

It won't stop their travel plans. You can get car seats adapted for the cast we didn't bother and stayed home for 2 months. I have to say this though. This was the hardest thing I've ever done. He needed entertaining all day long, he couldn't move, he would wake constantly with muscle spasms. I would spend hours a day pushing him about in his pushchair to entertain him.

It had put him behind both physically and in aspects such as speech. I mentioned in another post how I felt jace had better speech than my son and thats down to the trauma of the operation put him back.

I foolishly (before we knew about his hip as missed till 12 months) bought him a jumperoo, we used a sling and every day I'm wracked with guilt on whether it's my fault, if I had been told at 8 weeks he had this issue I would have done everything I could to help.

They've done this to Mila forcing her into hours and hours of sitting in car seats and being held like they hold her.
They're only upset that they won't be able to go on holiday for a while

This lazy bleep with her faux tears boils my piss. NHS guidance for baby’s in a car seat is max 2 hours in a 24 hour period. That’s why only fuckwits travel round Europe in a dpd van for 6 weeks with a baby 🤦‍♂️🤬🤬🤬🤬
it was over 8 weeks I think

im lost for words, these parents (if you can call them that) are absolute scum. Do you hear that Sarah and Chris you pair of selfish bastards, SCUM. Don’t you even dare try lay the blame at others, this lays with you swanning off and subjecting your baby to major pain. No wonder the poor child is so fussy as you call it, she’s probably been trying to tell you she’s in agony.

pathetic scum
No wonder Sarah couldn't look at her. One of them was flinging her up in the air a few days ago but of course Dr Ingham had diagnosed her.
Even the position Mila was being held whilst in that sling all the time won't have helped the poor little thing.
They've ignored it because it inconvenienced their holiday plans. I know I might be wicked to say this but I felt like Sarah was more upset about how much work and inconvenience Mila being in a cast was going to cause her rather than being upset for Mila. If Sarah did cry it was for herself. She's a cold hearted mother. Next time Mila has a bad nights sleep probably due to being in discomfort please don't moan about being tired Sarah. You are going to have no choice now but to put your little girl first and be a proper mother to her.

This is bang on they could of given her something to wear to try and correct it before surgery now she is too old.

Why can't they follow simple instructions? The recipe stated 'chop the onion finely', and they had huge great slices of it, which means it won't cook properly. But hey ho, they know better.
It looked suspiciously like prepared very to me that you buy ready chopped

Do they not understand that her hip probably was only ‘marginally’ out at the last appointment but being sat in her car seat/the chair for the last three months has probably made her diagnosis so much worse. She’s not using her hips sat in those positions therefore they can’t develop properly and she can’t grow out of it as she should have..
This is neglect, plain and simple.
Yeah I thought the same as you.
it prob was only marginally put at that appointment but they’ve had her in a car seat for hours on end everyday and in a sling which isn’t recommended for babies with hip problems, that wouldn’t of helped her hips at all!
Also it’s all very well then trying to put blame on the drs etc but ultimately it’s their fault for rearranging her appointment to go off traveling around paper tigers and Lidl’s.
Also who in their right mind would get an urgent referral appointment through then ring up and ask if the appointment was really important as they had a trip planned and can it be postponed till when they get back? It’s their baby’s health for crying out loud. Makes you wonder how many of jaces eye appointments they’ve rearranged Cos they were on a trip

Surely, how ever many weeks in a car seat hasn't helped her hips? 😐 They should feel bad.

I hope the specialist at the hospital gave her a bollocking for not following up her hip issue sooner.

I really do hope those children are now on the radar of health professionals.

She didn’t even shed a tear, I didn’t see anything coming from those evil eyes of hers. Couldn’t even squeeze out one tear. She is a sociopath and a evil narcissist, has some of the same qualities as Casey Anthony. I’m actually so angry, what she’s done is abuse and neglect and both of them need to be held accountable. They chose visiting flying tigers around Europe over the health and comfort of their baby.

They have fucked up big time. Just reading the NHS leaflet on the body cast I don't think I would be able to cope and I am so attentive . Special car seats special diet special nappy techniques. From what I've read you can't bath them you have to pick them up a certain way. These two are not capable .

Exactly. Yes ok maybe they could do surgery til she’s was 4 months old but at the very least they would of scanned her and made sure it wasn’t getting worse and if it was done something like the harness or at the very very least given them clear advice on the best way to hold her and about being seated in a car seat for too long etc.

they can blame the nhs drs till they are blue in the face but the blame actually lies with themselves Cos they were too selfish of their own needs of wanting to travel to put their children’s health forst.

so Sarah feels so guilty …. Good so she should things might not of got to this stage if they hadn’t gone galavanting around paper tigers and Lidl’s in Europe for weeks on end.
