I suppose they have to keep the girls interested in toys or how else would they fill a Christmas Day vlog? Their younger viewers wouldn’t be interested to see a small pile that included trainers or a Pandora charm for example.

I think they did. I think the discussion on clubs is part of the LEA concerns on socialising children. She said it on the vlog to try and get people off their back. I think they've been watched by officials.
They aren’t leaving the house never mind making time for clubs.
Where is their time going all day because a lot of the time it’s dark, past dinner time and they’re saying oh it’s too late it go to this place now or we’ve missed it! They don’t even get out for a walk.

I can’t remember my health visitor ever weighing my daughter during home visits but I used to drop into their weekly weigh in clinic.
I thought Esme didn’t want to join any clubs but her face lit up when the HV suggested them? Sounds like she’s put some pressure onto them to socialise - whether they join is another thing through. I’m sure the HV will be back to check in after Christmas.

(yesterdays vlog )When the LEA make enquiries about home ed they do like you to show that your children are being given opportunities to socialise. What they would expect obviously varies depending on age and any SEN etc but currently they wouldn’t be able to say anything, the girls don’t have the opportunity to socialise at all.
I would imagine Sarah is aware of this as it would have been asked about and they probably said they were looking into groups as they were new to the area at the time.
