During lockdown I like many others home schooled my children. My children are 12 and almost 15 and I ensured that they were sat at the dining table so I could be there to help if needed and so that I was able to check the standard of their work and to actually interact with them. I didn't want either of them up in their rooms and out of sight. It was hard work but we managed to make it fun and both myself and my husband said it was amazing how much knowledge we gained from it too.
What Sarah is doing isn't homeschooling. Throwing a worksheet at your child or getting them to copy an entire paragraph from a webpage won't be teaching them anything. They need more than an hour's education per day. She really is failing those poor children and it shows. Isabelle can barely string a sentence together and didn't realise the book she was reading was a book she had already read. Get those kids back in school before their entire futures are ruined

It would appear that "homeschooling" for them involves copying out, word for word (as pointed out by another Tattler), sections from BBC Bitesize and then drawing, and colouring in, pictures for these sections. Sarah is definitely on top of their school work though as she's recognised that Isla seems to be falling behind in "neatness and presentation" so she is getting extra help from Sarah in this area - no need for anyone to be alarmed at all... she's all over it. Also, just to further put your mind at ease, she did do 30mins of "read out loud to mum" time with Isabelle the other evening - honestly I don't know why everyone seems so concerned about their education 🤷‍♀️
When the assessors check home schooling work I’m sure they know if the work has been copied from the internet ( i know my daughters teachers doesn’t allow copying word for word ) so I wonder if the local education authority will be checking theirs?
I still can’t get my head around how they’ve managed to afford Pylon Palace and all the next items - has it all been gifted ?

Regarding Isla:

I wanted to share this the other day, but this ‘Fidget’ BS got in the way. Apologies, it’s a bit of a rant...

Sarah - I truly hope you pay serious attention to this. Most of us are deeply concerned about Isla, but you filmed something the other day that might be a golden opportunity to start improving her predicament. Of course she should be in school, but your misplaced arrogance and selfishness won’t allow that. However...

You filmed her playing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ on the keyboard with 2 fingers. She’s 9.
Get your ass on Google with her and look up the origins of the piece. I’m sure she’d be interested. Maybe you would too, instead of just panning the camera back to your toddler.

The musical arrangement is by Mozart. He was composing complex pieces age 5. Look up optimum time for children to begin learning piano - it’s ages 6-9. Of course, anyone can learn at any age, but this is a perfect time & opportunity to foster any interest she has.

If you won’t get her lessons with a real teacher - Covid restrictions may prevent this right now - at least get her an online course for her age. And her OWN keyboard for her room. She needs an escape route from vying for the camera’s affection, which you meter out sparingly for her.

For anyone watching, it comes across that you really don’t care for her much. When your 2 year old asked you to film her (that’s pretty sad at best) you cackled and said no, you were filming him. Isla learned early in life that acting out or being unwell earned her camera time which translates as attention from her parents.

It’s clear you’ve lost interest in her. You keep your middle child close to you when you deign to share face time during your ramblings & for now, she’s lapping it up. I don’t think any of us would be surprised to learn that off camera things are very much worse for Isla.

So at least - give her music. Give her something to develop for herself. It’s been a refuge for humanity since we first learned to bang things together.

It’s tragic how much of ‘growing up’ your eldest has missed out on. All of us have more interesting stories of our teen years than her - pandemic aside. She can’t get those years back. But Isla has a real chance if you’ll put your ego and camera aside. You failed to nurture her interest in astronomy, you degrade what little school work she does, and we only see a fraction of your toxic behavior.

Remember - ask her if she’s interested in learning piano seriously - get advice on a good keyboard & research online lessons.
duck - if it helps - she may be a budding prodigy & make tons of money. Think of the content!! Got your attention now? You can even pretend that you came up with the idea.
Just do something other than talking to the camera & buying tit.
My daughter plays the piano and I completely agree with everything you've said... Sarah is so busy filling rooms, and vacant areas, with sofas when an actual piano would be such a beautiful way of adding some personality and warmth to that house, whilst providing so much opportunity for Isla (and the others actually) - for goodness sake she could even buy a grand piano to go with her grand staircase if that's what she wants! I think your suggestion is well worth Sarah investigating but I'm not holding my breath...

Gosh yes, a grand piano might bring some class to the place. Can you get them at Home Bargains/B&M?

I've just had a vision. That whole backyard filled with caravans, Chris doing his mods on them. Vulnerable ifam taking out tens of thousands of pounds worth of Clearpay loans so they can have a caravan that's been touched by the Minghams....

omg, it all makes sense now... maybe that's why the chose the house that backs on to all that vacant land that can never be built on - and it has the added bonus of being next to the motorway for easy access and visibility of the business - those caravans will be lining the fields  (no way in hell he'd use his own backyard - for starters they'd all get stuck in the mud pit

Perhaps they don't enroll the children into any activities as they plan on going on holiday so much they just don't bother as normally you need to pay and commit to a term.
I'm sure Isabelle would love to attend photography course, Esme could do gymnastics/trampolining, Isla could do piano or something like brownies to mix with others & they could take Jace to toddler groups or swimming or just anything!
They could do so much more with the children than being at home and going shopping.

Its sad these kids seem to have fallen under the radar for social services ect. My only hope is that when the baby is born itll be on Sarahs records that Jace was severely underfed as a new born so they'll then keep a closer eye on the baby after its born.

Kids need boundaries, goals, and a sense of purpose. All these things are provided by attending school, good parenting and socialising. If those goals provided by school are taken away, kids will have no sense or purpose or self worth. Flogging crap to people who in turn have been brainwashed by watching you be exploited by your own parents is not healthy. If it was school holidays or Christmas every day life would soon start to get boring. You need a sense of balance. You work hard and achieve your goals then you enjoy your leisure time. You see your friends and experience life outside your own family, with encouragement and support from your parents. I really believe what the Ingham's are doing is child abuse. Those kids know nothing now but living life through a camera. I've seen a couple of their blogs to be able to comment on this forum and I'm horrified by how boring they are, and how the kids are exploited.

Isabelle's GCSE results will be very telling. You learn nothing from copying Bitesize word for word. It looks as if Isabelle has no idea about good study skills, and could do with some help in that area to ensure she's actually learning something.

If they're so well off with money, why not invest in a tutor for each of the girls? Why not get involved in the home education community?

Lazy has no idea what she's doing. But her filming/B&M/travel/Alibaba schedule is much more important to her than her children recieving a decent education.

I have said this before about the homeschooling, but based on what lazys said before it was chris that pushed for this, yet hes left her to deal with it all.

What happened to the "we are going to pick a topic and learn as a family" did that ever happen?

Such a great post!!

This right here is a hater is it Sarah???
Someone, a stranger, who sees 20 minutes of your day, genuinely concerned with your child’s welfare!!
We need more suggestions and posts like this for maybe her family and ifam to see, so they understand no one is jealous of your life they are worried for your kids.

OMG GUYS

I'd like to announce the arrival of baby boy Tattle. Unfortunately there was no time for wheelchair rides or costa trips.

At an iddy biddy 9lbs I am sure he will be fitting into 0-3 months by the time he's a year old - even if the trousers only come half way down his legs.

Chris wants fame and fortune over all else so he seems quite happy to sacrifice his children's education to achieve it... I can image his sales-pitch to Sarah saying that if they grow the business in any way that they can then the girls will be "set for life" and it won't matter if they don't get the best education. He would be have rattled on about all of their children working in the family business and handing it down from generation to generation so that none of them every have to worry about job applications etc.

The problem is that Sarah doesn't seem capable of thinking further than the shiny "marble" flooring Chris has provided... so, Sarah, please ask yourself these questions and really consider the implications of the answers... what happens if social media platforms like YouTube put an end to family vlogging, or reduce the amount of money that can be made - your entire customer base is dependant on your vlogging. If you don't have that then your Baby & Me (including all spin-offs) would be "dead in the water". What would the girls have to fall back on? More importantly though, what if your children actually don't want to vlog their lives as adults? Everything that you are creating relies on your YouTube following - you aren't providing them with any other options that aren't tied in some way to vlogging... why on earth would you want to limit them in this way? Why wouldn't you want them to have a world of options so that they can independently choose what makes them happy. There are millions upon millions of young adults the world over competing for jobs and opportunities - you should be equipping them with every available tool to get them ahead of the masses.

Chris may have convinced you that what you are doing is setting up a secure future for them but in reality you are limiting them in every conceivable way. You can still keep your YouTube channel as I think we all realise that will never be given up, but YouTube and Baby & Me should be your children's backup if all else fails... it should never be their only option and the sad thing is they are too young to know what it is they want to do with the rest of their lives, and you should know that...

Anyone else suspicious about them 'selling out' of the fidgets?
I'm wondering if they listed a minimum amount for sale - less than they've actually got in stock. So that it goes out of stock quickly, then causing others to think that they are missing out and now making the fidgets more desirable as they are so 'popular' and then when they put more stock up create more sales than if they'd have listed them all in one go..

Plus it makes them sound really good if they can claim they sold in an hour or whatever it was, as opposed to there being a constant supply and never selling out.
Thats what I thought also because of the way they work Lazy said that about all her silly blankets being sold out in a matter of hours yet she was still showing stock they are up to all tricks and getting away with it to but someday someone will make will bring them back to reality but they are welcome to their grand staircase she thinks she is living in Buckingham Palace instead of Pylon Palace. A house is a building but a home is where families share happiness and they don't have that
