Absolutely fucking howling at the ingham family wardrobe page! These are billionaires!!

Also re all the Covid talk, it’s an easing of restrictions not the end of lockdown. I think all the people playing the mental health with shopping cards, need to give their heads a wobble. For me, and I won’t slate anyone taking their 4 kids round multiple shops, daily. It’s just something, morally I wouldn’t do.

The ones that are buzzing atm will be the same ones screaming the loudest when we are back to harsh restrictions.

I’ve said it before (and I know it’s terrible comparing kids) you cannot compare that shell of a girl to the likes of Kaci from DVG etc. Not one of those girls has a role model, they aren’t being taught to be strong and independent woman. They are being shown to settle for a Gollum and be happy with it. Sarah really has let them down, they are going to go through life looking to men to guide them. The one male ‘role model’ can’t even build flat pack furniture, jump into cold water, protect them, grooms girls and has quite frankly made them a laughing stock of their peers. It’s so bloody sad! And won’t even start on how Chris will influence Jason in becoming a man one day!

As much as I can’t stand the Inghams, aren’t we past shaming people leaving their houses?
Bearing in mind that these family vloggers have a largely young and impressionable audience, I do think it's important to call them out when their actions are questionable.

Technically, lockdown rules may allow them to go shopping as often as they like.....but morally, I believe that's not the case and that should be pointed out to the naive and brainwashed ifam.

Behaving legally and behaving morally are not always the same......now where have I heard that before

I have not watched the vlog but do they have a new car. Esme was in the boot with her legs up to her chest so how can they buy stuff from IKEA and fit it in that car
I think it still the same car, they had two extra seats fitted in the boot

They can't have taken over the new house officially as they would have needed to pay for it prior to getting keys etc. and they won't be able to pay for it until the money at least for their old house is paid so are they trying to kid that they own 2 properties at the moment and the buyers for their house must be daft to continue to wait for the exchange date personally I would just purchase another house and forget their exists

Contracts for the new house can't be exchanged until the buyers of their house sign their contract as Lazy and Creepy will not have the funds to pay for the new house until this has been done and the builder would not want them putting any of their items in the way of completing the house in time for them to move

Rates are low due to lockdown and our highly effective vaccination roll-out, which has been proven to work as there hasn't been any significant spike coming out of Easter, which would have been expected otherwise.

The Ingham of course, as usual don't do things in moderation, and I agree, there's absolutely no need to be running around multiple shops every single day, but thats solely down to their very visible shopping addiction- i think they're pretty isolated in that sense.

My point was just that we really need to move away from constant shaming of people who like to be out and about meeting up with others, shopping, enjoying themselves and getting back to some sort of normality. I'm not the most sociable of people, so generally speaking i'm fine not jumping at the opportunity to hit the shops and pubs. However, I can appreciate that there's many others who crave social/ physical interaction.

The Inghams are really just an extreme case, as usual.

Their shopping habits have nothing to do with social/physical interaction tho , its just two fingers up to those of us who have stuck by the rules and haven't shopped every bloody day during a pandemic

Watching an old vlog back, the girls dressed so tidy and were shopping in Next/River Island, now reduced to cheap China imports from Shein, so sad to see how they have gone backwards so much in the way they dress and look.

Most people will be sensible with shopping and not go every single day unlike shopaholic Lazy. Also there's no need to take your entire household, including a two year old who has no interest in endless traipsing round shops, to IKEA. I can't understand why Lazy would actually choose to take a baby/toddler/young child to the shops when she doesn't have to.

No-one would be shaming them if they had obeyed the rules and this was the first time they had been to non essential shops. No-one would be berating them for mixing socially. The problem is Sarah has been out shopping non essentially non stop. They are not meeting up with friends and gathering outdoors or in the garden. They have ignored lockdown rules since they arrived back to the U.K last year. They didn't even obey quarantine rules FFS.
Sarah is pregnant, yet has been out everyday dragging at least one of the kids with her. Filming, taking selfies with fans and touching everything which is very advised against. She says she can't wear a mask due to fainting, but is still able to drive!
I hope ikea has been notified of their antics because their behaviour is disgusting.

Now I don't believe for one minute Isabelle went shopping with a friend. In the segment she looked alone. No friend on camera, no voice. It could easily have been Esme with her. If the friend somehow didn't want to appear on camera then why bother with the camera in the first place!
But if by any chance she did go with someone then she has also broke rules and Sarah and the other girls parents have encouraged it.

Is it really about shaming people leaving their houses though? I think it's about being a bit more understanding and not trying to do everything all at once just because you can. I understand that a lot of people are very grateful that restrictions have been lifted and you don't want to judge them harshly but you're being a bit hard on people who still have Covid anxiety for whatever reason. Also as for claiming the infection rate is "barely even worth talking about any more" that's a pretty dangerous assumption to be making if you don't have the scientific evidence to back it up especially when seventy seven cases - possibly more by now - of the new Indian variant were discovered in London a couple of days ago. I'm a keyworker, I've seen how Covid ripped through the hospital I work in. We've all lost friends, colleagues and patients we cared about. Whenever I drive into work, I have to drive past a temporary mortuary that's been set up in a car park to help cope with the number of Covid deaths. Like it or not, the UK is part of the global pandemic and I don't think it's a matter for a laughing emoticon either.

P.S. Dear Moderators, apologies in advance if this looks like I'm telling people what they can or can't say. I don't think it is but if that's how it comes across then I'll accept that strike because I can't just sit back and say nothing. Also apologies for derailing the thread but again, too much has happened to just sit back and ignore this. I don't meant it as a personal attack either but he laughing emoticon was just a step too far.

This
Said it so much better than me. Drives me insane when people have struggled, lost people and worked their asses off everyday to be told the pandemic isn’t real. If people like that lazy cow (Sarah if it wasn’t clear) did a real days work in her life, she wouldn’t be flitting from one discount shop to the next.

Thank you

completely agree. It’s about behaving responsibly isn’t it? I met my brother in a pub garden yesterday so I’m not doing nothing - I’m enjoying the relaxation of lockdown. But I’m not flouncing around multiple places coming into contact with loads of people. They could actually be responsible couldn’t they and order the lat flow tests and blog doing them “it’s not nice but worth it to know we’re not spreading a deadly disease, the more people do this the more free we can all be” etc

So true, they could be inadvertently be spreading the virus and they wouldn’t really care because they need to create a vlog.

It wouldn't be so bad them going out now that more is allowed, if they hadn't already been going to shops daily anyway.

Most people would rather not take 4 kids to Ikea anyway. If people are taking children (and sometimes I have, I'm not saying they shouldn't ever go!), I expect that they do not start running around like it's a playground, and do not start playing/touching everything. I wouldn't allow my children to behave like that in a shop, so would appreciate it if others did the same. Of course it's even more annoying right now where people are supposed to still be keeping a distance from others when possible, so having a family of 6 wandering all over the place makes this a bit more difficult for others. They were also in Ikea buying new furniture just after Christmas, so it's not like they urgently need to go just because it's open.

They have gotten to a point where shops = their only content. Multiple other things opened this week that would have made for better content, been more entertaining for the children (or some of them - with the large age gaps they will not realistically find much that they all genuinely enjoy) but just more shops is the easy way and also helps with Sarah's shopping addiction. If they ever do move, the new house will very quickly be filled up with random tat that no one actually wants because Sarah won't stop buying.

It’s really sad (and boring for the kids and viewers) that the week restrictions relax all she can think of to do is to take the kids shopping everyday. They could go to play farms, mini golf, swimming etc.

The only dimension of personality Lazy has is an addiction to money and she can't resist showing off how rich they are. I agree that they shouldn't be taking all the kids shopping. If Lazy really has to go then she should take Isabelle and make Creepy stay at home with the younger three.

The reason restrictions are being lifted so slowly is because the number of infections could rise again. We have to be so, so careful and people like the Inghams are not helping to keep the number low.

Can I just say I find that 'strawberry milky' post/comment by Chris really fucking weird. I don't know if any of you have seen it but it's a tiktok trend amongst a slightly younger age group (I'd say around age 14-16, I've seen people who are in their twenties use it but I think it's a 'younger' trend personally) to say something like "popping a choccy milk to make the pain go away" - sort of saying 'oh, life is rough but we can't/don't want to drink away the pain yet so we have to drink chocolate milk/strawberry milk'. And out of all the trends to join in on I find that one fucking weird! Why pander to a 'young' trend like that? It's different to the dancing trends I think - anyone can do a tiktok dancing trend - yeah okay in Chris' case it's a bit tragic but the dances in themselves are harmless. But, considering he's a grown man and can drink why feel the need to be 'relatable' like that with that particular comment? It's sort of implying 'I'm just like you' sort of thing. Why? Obviously we know why but

Maybe people will think this is a reach, I just think it's grim.
