Holy tit this reminds me of a date I went on last year that stuck in my mind because it was so awful. So the guy turned up 45 minutes late but because I'd met him before through a friend of a friend, I thought I'd wait because we got along really well on the night out we had met on. When he eventually turned up, much like your guy, he didn't speak AT ALL the whole time at the bar. Never felt more awkward, I just kept chatting tit because I was so confused. He eventually started talking when he got sufficiently drunk at the next bar. So basically he didn't seem to be able to talk around girls unless he was wasted.Thought of another one. One guy when I was about 17 we’d known each other from school before he’d moved. Went to the cinema (thank god in the end!) so he gets on the bus that I’m on and he didn’t speak. Didn’t speak while we were walking around town. Didn’t speak before the film. He literally would just yes to what I was saying and sort of hmmm and nod. After the film I made my excuses and left. He then text me when I got home to say he’d had an amazing time and we could do it again!! I was sick of the sound of my own voice! Needless to say there was no second date, I texted him back a few days later and fizzled it out. Shy men are not endearing and not being able to read the signs is major ick for me. Read the room mate!!
