I’m speechless.I seriously went out with someone who shared the same bath water as his mum! She would get out the bath and shout ‘baths free love’ He was 28 at the time. Honestly I was out of there like a flash![]()

that might actually be worse than the guy who lets his mum wash his rum rag... it’s close though that’s for sureI seriously went out with someone who shared the same bath water as his mum! that was oddly specific? That rum rag story is the sort of stuff which you expect in The Hills Have Eyes. If I was a woman and discovered that, I'd have got the hell out of there before the collection of skin masks came out and momma enters the room with a chainsaw.
i don’t want to derail but honestly this tit winds me up so much. The first holiday DH and I went on together his mum packed his case for him. We arrived at our hotel and we started to unpack and i commented on how neat he had folded his things and how his footwear was wrapped in bags. He had a toiletry bg of brand new neatly wrapped items.
I almost tit myself laughing when he said his mum packed it. Omg I had to be air lifted off the bleeping floor! I spent the holiday asking what else his mum did for him....turned out everything, even make his packed lunch for work. Gave me huge laughs but looking back major ick!
I am the youngest of 5 so in my house we learned early on what we had to do for ourselves. I still to this day think that MIL think i was hard done to or dragged up as she once said to me "a mum should look after and do all she can for her child regardless" yeah kinda agree but when they get to 14 start teaching them that beds dont make themselves and clothes dont teleport to the wash basket......and cases don't pack themselves
Dh is an only one and his mum finally cut the unbilical cord after 4 years of us being a couple, by which time we had our own place.
The day before we moved in together I told DH that i will not be doing all the stuff his mum does for him as he has arms and a brain so can do stuff himself. My speach worked a treat and we have always split house work between us.
You must have really loved him to stick around! Thankfully it paid off for you.The first holiday DH and I went on together his mum packed his case for him. Yep, wasn't going to let one ick put me off. 14 years this year, married for 6. Mil still tries to poke her nose in and mother him but he doesn't let her. Not sure i am in her good books these days for taking her boy away from herYou must have really loved him to stick around! Thankfully it paid off for you.
I love your usernameI was starting to go off my ex for many reasons.. little things like him being a chef and his hands always smelling like onions () his constant bragging about money and the fact he called his family dog “our baby” just to name a few. Just to add we were “officially” together not even a month at this point!
But the thing that made me leave (and heave)... we were laying in bed (hadn’t slept together yet) and he turned round to me and said “do you give blowjobs?”
Eww. I cringed all the way home and dumped him by text. I’m no prude, but don’t ask me that. He sounded like a 12 year old not a 25 year old.
That's truly cringeworthy! Treating you like he's ordering off a dial-a-girlfriend menuBut the thing that made me leave (and heave)... we were laying in bed (hadn’t slept together yet) and he turned round to me and said “do you give blowjobs?”
Eugh the baby voice one made my vag clamp shutI LOVE an ick story, if you don’t already follow her Lalalaletmeexplain on insta does insta ick stories regularly. They’re the best.
So here are a few of mine:
- He sang to me in a busy restaurant
- Lockdown Tache
- Jumped up and down when the pizza guy knocked on the door
- Used to talk to me in a baby voice when asking for a cuddle
- Used my Bobby pins to clear wax out of his ears
- Said ‘by the by’ twice in one conversation
Haha “you cant even drive but spend all ur money on trainers”. I think we all know a guy like this. So cringe.A guy I went on a date with told me the trainers he was wearing cost in £900, I repeat, nine HUNDRED English pounds. I was like, is that supposed to impress me you absolute donkey? The guy can’t even drive and spends all his money on trainers, massive put off
Eww. I believe part of being a good parent is bringing up a child to be able to look after themselves, taking on more responsibilities steadily and regularly under supervision, ensuring that the end result is not a helpless, dependant, frightened clingy child of 18+ years but, someone who can take care of themselves easily. That and looking after children, a home, a relationship and yourself must be tiring.Yep, wasn't going to let one ick put me off. 14 years this year, married for 6. Always found mil wierd in that she did everything in the house for her husband and her son as well as work full time. Father in law never lifts a finger in his home. My parents shared the load so dh's set up was so wierd to me.
I was told not interlocking is how you hold a child's handOne of my exes told me it was ‘old people hand holding’ if you didn’t interlock your fingers![]()
