@Scarlet4U Brilliant, brilliant post. So much so I've screenshot it for future reading. Well said.

It puts me in mind recently of a married friends husband (who fancies himself) offering me a biscuit which I refused as trying to get some weight off. He immediately said:-

"I don't know why so many woman worry about their weight. We men like something to get hold of and prefer curves on a woman" or words to that effect. I just smiled (thinking thanks for that information) but honestly like there's no other reason you'd want to lose weight except to fulfill the male expectation of sexiness and availability for unwanted pawing. Yuck.

Ugh what a creep. Diet advice from men is a total ICK. I bet that was completely lost on him 🤮

I've actually been thinking about this issue alot lately and I think it's from reading this thread 😂 I've never been what you might consider an outspoken feminist, but the older I get the more I see that whatever inroads society has made towards gender equality, men still have a strong sense of entitlement around telling women how they should look and behave and are far too comfortable vocalising it. When women dare say anything negative about men we're labelled bitter or bitchy, but people still don't seem to think of men that way.

Yesterday I was behind a learner driver (very young girl) turning into a carpark. She didn't let a car waiting in the yellow box turn in - she probably should have but whatever, she could have been nervous or still unsure on right of way- some older man waiting to exit the car park on the other side (his lane of traffic was unaffected by this) yet he was turning puce and indignantly waving his hands in the air quite aggressively. He surely wouldn't have behaved that way had another male been behind the wheel.

If you have right of way you never have to let anyone in. We do it out of courtesy to other drivers but done have to.

The other day I was turning left into a queue for traffic lights about 100m long but not going to lights and doing a quick right about 20m along. There was a gap and the car to my left waved a car in who was turning right into the road I was leaving. Plenty room for me to get in the queue at the same time. Bloke who let other car in lost the utter plot, sounding his horn and screaming obscenities. I wasn’t even joining the traffic lights queue and turned right almost straight away. I reckon if my 6’2” 17 st husband had been driving the bloke wouldn’t have minded.

So road rage … complete ick

It's even worse when they refuse to carry a bloody basket & walk round trying to hold everything they want & failing miserably, keep dropping stuff on the floor 🤣
There was a bloke coming out the shop yesterday as I was in my way in, he dropped some frozen peas and then as he bent down to pick them up dropped something else, I stopped and helped him but yeah that was a walking ick 😂

Probably a bit niche, but i went on a date with a guy off an app probably 5 years ago now and we were in a pub beer garden one night and he randomly said it would look great in a pair of wide leg, white, linen trousers. I was probably around 32 at the time and it still cringes me out now. I’ve never worn wide leg linen trousers in my life and I don’t have a problem with them, it was just so random that he said it. I didn’t know how to take it 😂

Haha, that's a specific thirst I think, bit like me saying to a man 'Oooh, you'd look amazing in some lycra wrestling trunks & if you could just go bald & grow a goatee too while you're at it, that'd be awesome' 🤣

I had an ex that gave me so many icks. Today I remembered shortly before we broke up he text me to say he fainted in the gym. I know should have felt bad for him but I was just so disgusted at the thought of it 🤣

When their tshirt is too short, especially when it rides up

Thinking spit is a lubricant
First one - yep, and they never seem to care or think they should care if they have a fat roll poking out, whereas I guarantee a woman would be shamed for that.

Second one - I blame porn for this (and many other turn-offs). I was gobsmacked the first time someone did this with me. It is so vile, physically and figuratively, that I don’t even know where to start.

Yes! Ok, one last boring rant from me and then I promise I'll move on lol. You only have to search phrases like 'stupid woman x activity', like your example of driving on youtube to discover how much men love to harass, bully, humiliate, shame us. The pussypassdenied sub on reddit has got to be one of the vilest. Reddit banned all the GC feminist subs declaring it 'hate speech', but a group like ppd is a-ok apparently.
Speaking of driving again, there was one I watched not too long ago where a British bloke purposely drove his motorcycle into a mother and her 5 year old-ish child on a wet, slippery side road. He could see them metres away, but wanted to assert himself and scare her, so didn't keep to the side and drove right into them, cue fake irritation/shock slamming the breaks and muttering abuse under his breath for his follower fanboys to cream over. He was doubly irritated because she had clocked it was deliberate, had balls of steel and didn't react how he wanted her to, just gave the muppet a withering look/sneer. This is the kind of behaviour or attitude we put up with all the time, and then men get cross about some silly washing-up advert or women on Tattle saying they dislike the shoes some blokes where and they act as if it's at all the same.

“Specific thirst” 😂 I think he was trying to mould me into his ex wife.

Definitely the sort who does not need to be anywhere in your vicinity then 🤣 hmmm, so what he's really after is a white linen trouser wearing Fray Bentos pie warmer upper, bet his list of applicants isn't very long 🤣🤣👍

I saw an Icky today in town. He was dressed in a tight green check suit, so tight as to be moulded to his body. Carrying an umbrella and a satchel type thing over his shoulder he kept repeating to whoever was on his phone "I'm absolutely freezing. I'm freezing here". I thought a) it's not that cold & b) what's with the ridiculous skimpy suit? A size bigger and you could maybe wear a jumper if you're that cold. So icky. 😑
