charity donation = tax dodging primarily !!
Agree with comment above about a Ailbhe finding a route to freebies - very true. The dublin cruises can’t be too busy in the winter and also with covid in 2020 I imagine she might be wondering what are the long term options....
How does it work with the donation and tax? Seen someone mention something about that before and didn't understand what it meant..

If you give money to charity you can offset it against your taxes! So if you were due to pay 5k in tax but gave that to charity then you no longer have to pay 5k in tax. You can claim tax relief on it. You don’t get the whole 5k off! Anything above €250 entitled you to claim tax relief. Bono does it the whole time. Lots of bloggers do it! So remember when Rosie and Sue are doing things for charity... they’re gaining followers, people start rallying around them and then they don’t have to fork out for a lot of taxes but they look angelic!

Only companies can not individuals

It includes self employed people too. They don’t have to be a registered company as such I don’t think.
For self employed and paye workers the refund goes to the charity so the tax payer gets no benefit or tax relief. Only companies/businesses registered for corporation tax get a tax deduction.

Ailbhe leaves me weak with her “mom life” shite. We live in Ireland we have a Mammy (or some abbreviation of it!) not a Mom. She won’t find it as easy to be out and about meeting friends and family (in a bloody pandemic 🙄) when he is 18 months and screeching like a little banshee because he doesn’t want to stay in the gifted buggy.
as for the Covid mom group she probably won’t be setting that up I’d imagine seeing as a lot of her followers aren’t at that stage of life.

€300 is okay if it's mental health related apparently 🙄

If anything improving mental health should cost a lot lot less. Monetising vulnerability isn't something to be supported. Especially since there isn't a justification behind the cost really
This 🙌🏻 I think that having to spend that kind of money is actually madness in this day and age there should be support for people who need it. Also, and I’m probably going to be slated for this, I don’t believe in a lot of the mindfulness crack that is being spun for people with genuine issues. I believe in proper psychological and psychiatric intervention if it is needed I am all for that and a qualified psychologist can do wonders I have seen one myself over the years and she helped me more Than I can say but this business of doing a quick course and calling yourself a counsellor and charging a fortune to people desperate for help is absolutely disgraceful.
sorry. Tangent. But it is something that I’ve seen lately in my extended family and it has been awful to watch.

I really think Aoibhin exposes her two baby girls far too much on social media. I really think it goes against the grain with the whole mother earth lark she is portraying. I always remember she had a post up on Instagram 10 days after giving birth with Honorah on the boat it just portrays this perfectionist on social media. She does seem to be a lovely girl and husband too. I bet she misses Dublin a lot more than she makes out.

It is quite obvious Aibhe is just in the bubble of first new baby, nothing is outside that at the minute. I think she is doing the right thing not showing her baby boy but time will tell. She really is only appealing to people who just had a baby or expecting soon.

Very well said

Someone messaged her about who is taking care of her doggo. She reposted with a snarky message.

I'd say the person was more so wondering if they brought the dog to the hotel?

Doireann is just making me cringe for the past few hours it’s clear she’s getting drunk and out socialising with her boyfriend. (Which I have no issue with) But seriously put your phone away you can actually hear with each story her getting more tipsy which is fine I couldn’t care less put the phone away and sure put your bathroom selfie and ‘hup’ up tomorrow it’s just cringe!

The dog question -I agree, silly for someone to ask! But people will ask/comment on anything. Her audience also ranges from 13 year old upwards! Its the smart arse answer, firstly don't respond...delete and ignore it. Secondly don't screen grab and post your bloody answer! I did like Doireann in her original days, posting her videos from her bedroom or when she worked in spin and posting the videos from the bathroom. Now she just comes across as passive aggressive and too big for her boots.

Regarding the dog question- I don't get why anyone would want to know but it's a fairly harmless question. From the point of view of the person asking it, they could have just been conversational or whatever. Influencers can't have it every way. On one hand they share every minute detail of their life for monetary gain. On the other hand, they're whingeing about a lack of privacy.

Asking who's minding a dog is hardly an intimate question FFS.

She is bitchy, but I don't know why they asked that. Absolutely none of their business.
It's a total overreaction to a harmless question.
