God! To think that a person would borrow that much money just to, essentially, turn around and give it away. I know that it's a real addiction, and not at all uncommon, but the cheapskate in me is still mindblown by it. Spending money you dont have on a lifestyle you can't afford is bad enough, but if he gambled even a portion of that away... people can't reclaim that. All that gambling now suddenly makes 886,000 reasons of sense….
Hopefully he can find the right mental health provider, clearly he's destructive to himself and others.

Not looking to place blame, but I wonder who was responsible for managing the financial side of the business. They had to have had an accountant, right? There were too many employees to not have an accountant. Dreams is listed on the AMEX lawsuit, so it was a company card. The whole operation seems fishy now.In relation to cruising I give credit to a poster on the disboards who called out other people who felt there was no way for other DIS employees to suspect Pete was up to nefarious activities whether it be on cruise ships or hotel stays. In essence it was suggested it would not be unusual for a small company and it’s owner to want people to share rooms and keep costs down so if Pete wanted to share a room with (insert the young male name here) he was doing it to manage expenses.
This poster said Pete has lived his life wanting to flaunt his wealth and privilege. He would NEVER want to share a room unless there was something in it for him. He will only cruise concierge because that’s what he feels he is entitled to and will brag about. He may shove other employees in interior rooms but king Pete will always want and expect the best, costs be damned. Not saying Craig and the others knew about the SA but for this head in the sand approach some of the guys are conveying it’s hard to believe. Legal speak aside Did they really think Pete wanted to share his concierge room with others to keep costs down?
