Pardon me for a second ... having a moment ....
This is my dad. He was 26 in this photo. I'm thinking of him extra today as he passed away a year ago today from COVID at 83 years old. He was a tall strong kind man. The opposite of my narc mother. As he got older in life and brought up dying, he would tell us "I'm not scared of dying, I've just never done it before." His little sneaky humor and truth combine. He said these words to my sister at the end. He wasn't scared to die, but he worried that it would be painful. In the end he chose not to go on a vent and was kept comfortable while he went from this life to the next. I miss him. I'm also so glad that at the very end he wasn't in pain and that he got to make the decision himself about how things ended (well, other than the COVID). So yeah, my dad was/is my VIP today.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was incredibly handsome! What a wonderful man, and I am certain he must have been extremely proud of you! Nothing I can say can ever make up for your loss, so all I can do is send you many virtual hugs and prayers, and much love! Cherish every moment you spent with him!

Congrats to @Marty McFly 9 our Canadian VIP! Cheers to you!

Sorry to hear of your father’s passing. He was very handsome. It is a very difficult milestone to lose a parent.

That midnight tea was a train wreck.
- nothing festive (except the Christmas tree)
- nothing dainty - the size of the pastries and sandwiches were humungous.
- why would I take any advice from Squirrelboy about high tea when he doesn't know that a tea sandwich has no crusts
- tartar sauce and roast beef have no place near high tea
- the table setting was bog standard - simply placing a red table cloth on the table doesn't make it Christmas
- the scones were rock hard. I'm surprised no one chocked on them & definitely needed tea to wash those down
- mincemeat looked well past its sell-by date
- no fun conservation or table talk with guests - looked like they were attending their last supper and definitely not excited about their midnight snack
Advent going down hill fast.....BIG SIGH......
Oh my dear, it was a HOT mess- who one earth has tea at midnight?!? The whole scone debate should be put to rest like peanutbutter and jelly on bread- you put jam on one portion (the scone/bread) and the clotted cream (or peanutbutter) on the other side (nothing is contaminated with the other ingredient)- mind blown! The whole foraging in the garden in the middle of the night for horseradish root (SMH) was also a travesty, as they probably dug up a random turnip! (WHO on earth dust grates up random roots they drunkenly foraged, even if it was legit horseradish and just puts it atop roast beef?!?)

can anyone understand this bullshittery? Garbled overexplanations that come across really defensive and passive aggressive? Has SJ completely handed over her social media accounts to Squirrel, or is she having a stroke? I can’t make head nor tail of it, am I the only one?
Explanation: No Patron explanation! It’s Christmas no one will ask why I’m having sex with the my paid assistant or where the money has been spent. Just keep distracting, oh look Barrel has sent us more jumpers.

I'm just wondering when Amoury might think ' what have I done?' in moving in wholus-bolus into the Chateau? Surely he sees it is a madhouse? I guess having Dan nearby keeps him sane, but he can't want to be there forever, surely? Couldn't he make more money elsewhere? How much longer can he bare his crazy cousin? He's already spent so much time and effort in rearranging that workshop - I can understand how he might not want o move off right away. Maybe he's just sticking it out till it gets really bad there?

So obviously written by Phiphi. He's making it sound like his YouTube is part of her empire .... the royal "we". The question at the end is totally PJ question .. ugh, SJ is going to have a much harder time shaking him than she did Dulmar and Marie.

I'm guessing he saw it as it was from Day 1, and demanded a better salary from Fanny. I get the whole wanting to help a family member obligation, but once he realized how bad it was, he HAD to have seen the light- "Pay me well, or I go back home." "Fine. Just make it go away, CUZ!"

One wonders if he is running from something at home. Or just ready for a life change? Did his business just completely shut down back home? Did he not have deep roots there, long term friends ...

He is akin to "black mold on Chinese drywall" (no racism intended here- Google it)- nothing Fanny can do is getting rid of BJJ as he's clinging on for dear life. She's seriously f-ed up, and will pay dearly to eradicate him.

I've had the same concern. A farmhouse out in the middle of nowhere is not a good social life for a talented smart young man IMO. I know Fanny is his family, but sometimes, family are the worst ones. I worry about how difficult it would be for him to leave there if he wanted to now.

You’re on to something there….but where is “their” other video? Nothing posted to his channel today. Could it be that he/she freaked out over how bad he is?

I don't agree, She is inherently lazy and is handing more and more to him, to take care of. Very unwise. AND....I think she'd accept his proposal.

Post 1001 on this 6th Day of Tatvent

I have to thank:

🍵 Teabag Cry Me A River 1.0 for introducing me to Tattle. I came and read a bit and thought you were all awful meanies.
🍵 Teabag Cry Me A River 2.0 brought me back, I was disgusted with him at that point, and I knew there would be interesting conversation here about his video. I only joined because I wanted to be able to read the links in your posts! I never intended to post or stick around for long.
💥 KABOOM gate 1.0 Dutch Baby Boyfriend Reveal (Can you believe this is already 12 threads ago?)
💥 KABOOM gate 2.0 Dulmar & Tatty Chateau Reveal (aka biggest gift grab we have ever seen)
both 💥 for giving me a lot to post about!

And to the Yentas 👵 and Gossip Idiots and those who are willing to own the name Tartlet 🥧 (I could only find a pie, but it seemed appropriate!) , you have been a lot of fun and great company and your sleuthing 🕵️‍♀️ powers and story 📖 telling skills and wit are without a doubt the best around!

I look forward to more time here spitting soup and snorting tea out of my nose. 👃

I will await my turn to name a thread when Mother :devilish: @MojoDublin calls me to action :)

🍷Have a glass of red wine with me!
Congrats to you Marty McFly 9 !! VIP

I am raising a glass to you this afternoon !!!

Cheers big Ears ! 🍷🍸🍹🍾 ( said to Prince Charles from Aussies at a party in Australia ) he took it well !

I think Bunbelina is in it for the money, like the rest of the grifters. Look how long he is stretching out the "Grande Saloon" paneling project. He is likeable because he's cute and talks a good game. But he's no doubt being handsomely paid to up and move to a new country in order to up the clicks on Fanny's channel.

T Rex, psychologist (one can not be an Electrical Engineer without taking a bunch of random under-electives, and mine is psychology- why on earth would one choose such a thing? It is actually easier than one thinks!) BJJ is an odd duck, who has continually strived for his mum's acceptance (and has low ambitions, other than his sub-par theatrical performances- let's just all face the music, figuratively and literally, he has neither the talent nor drive to ever star in an Andrew Lloyd-Webber production.) In his mind, the world is missing out, and goes to YouTube for consolation to see how the other half lives (meaning those with successful channels.) He stumbles upon Fanny's Shitoo Diary series, sees a sad lonely middle-aged woman, and a plan goes into motion to integrate himself. And the rest is history. It is kind of scary how easily he could infiltrate the Shitoo and her bed, so it should be an alarm to those closest to Fanny, but no one actually truly cares two forks (pun) or they'd have cast him out like the Nigerian prince he is. And now, "Fanny's Folly" is making their lives miserable. Yeah, he's not going away without a restraining order and a briefcase full of cash. Well played, BJJ! He knows far too much, and could bring her down.

Proper 3PM tea has always consisted of savoury sandwiches on soft bread sans crusts (egg salad, lox, watercress, and cucumber- once in a blue moon, there'd be a lovely curried chicken salad, which I suspect is really a daring rebellious thing!) followed by small cakes, tarts and scones with clotted cream and jam- sweets are always considered "the second course" in tea. It baffles my mind how SJ does things!
Aaah. But you see, Steph is the expert at 10p.m. tea. So that must be the difference. 👸

SJ looks the spitting image of IJ here...

Also, on a somewhat relevant note, we have discussed here many times the blonde muse for DJ's paintings, and many think it is the young IJ
I noticed in my re-watch of some of the vlogs... IJ has been a brunette all her life! her old pictures (at least the ones we see on the vlog) are all with short dark brown hair!

Have your own conclusion...
But is SJ really a blond? 🤔 As we see from an early photo posted yesterday
