Yes reading all this for the first time today.....and totally NOT surprised. I have felt all along that something was just not right about the whole Lalande saga. So many other chateau owners have made it their priority to get their properties renovated and brought to current standards for heating, plumbing , safety etc. especially if you are going to operate as a business for paying guests. I wish all the Lalande cultists knew this backstory and have their eyes opened to how they are being sucked dry by this manipulative piece of work. Every time a vlog goes up as a premiere they are there with donations as well as the ongoing patreon payments that are now up to approx. $24k per month. Thank you all for your insight and exposure of the facts.

SJ and IJ had to stand out from the others in those white dresses and those images of the costume parties remind me of a recent drama series on BBC, called "Harlots". It's set in 18th century London in two brothels, one in a rundown part of the city owned by a woman who wants to move it to a good area to make a better life for her family. The other is a more elite brothel in a grand house near Piccadilly. The women in that house are beautifully dressed, wearing wigs and look so like the Chatelaine and her entourage. I am sorry but I can't help feeling that in the costume party photos, C de LL looks rather like an upper class brothel. The provocative poses and coquettish behaviour of SJ, her mother, and some of the others, bear this out. It doesn't give a very admirable image of educated women in the 21st century.

Harlots was so amusing and somewhat refreshing, in that case lizzie must be Lydia Quigley

I think out of all of them I feel sorry for selmar. He's still the only one that wouldn't be fully taken under Stephanie's spell with all her nonsense. He's a sweet down to earth gentle man.
The vlog just at Christmas when cat was still there before she left to go home there was only four for dinner cause natty was feeling unwell and going to bed and selmar too with his neck was staying in his caravan. Seeing him lift those heavy stone tiles. Hope he'll be careful all the trouble with his neck

Nope, I can guarantee that they are not fake, as they were the hosts for CDLL on Workaway and had received excellent references from volunteers whilst they were caretakers at the chateau. The references from those years mentioned them by name.

I read this by chance many months ago, when I was looking for volunteers to help a local charity, and I was intrigued because I was a fan of the vlogs.

Ironically, Workaway recently removed Lalande from their website - they specifically say that - SJ did not leave Workaway, they removed her.

Ah yes I heard about this, somebody in the comments section said workaway saw a video by Tomaz showing him doing way too much work in one day. way more than workaway allow! However the video was actually filmed over several days and edited to make it look like one day, which was very misleading on his part,
and that he was known for being very lazy at the chateau and staying in bed all day.

I’ve seen the video it didn’t make it look like it was too much work tbh. I also don’t think he was lazy.
