Dana was introduced at the chateau through my friends who knew her before SJ. She has always been very eager to become one of SJ's acolytes and likes to see herself as her most trusted friend. She dropped my friends instantly and sided with SJ even though she knew very well what happened. She was even considering stepping in and take over the role left behind by my friends, but that didn't materialize for her.

She really is a class act. You can see the restrained way she acknowledges presents from the gift grab ... I feel she’s there because she feels she has to be out of support for Nic, but anyone with an ounce of sensitivity can decipher there is probably not much love lost between her and Stephanie. They are very different people. Marie has had a career, SJ has only ever ridden in the coat tails of others.

They certainly do. SJ's favorite movie is Dangerous Liaisons and she loves the drama and plotting, mingling in other people's relationships, no matter who gets hurt as long as it's not she.
Can I also say that I watched an interview with your friend and he is such a charming, handsome and warm fellow. He is from a little village I know well, and the people from that region are very close to my heart. He is also so humble. You know, in a way, his personality is so soft, he reminds me of Selmar. Although your friend has a better education and is a decade younger, he radiates empathy and sweetness, as Selmar does... and I somehow have this terrible feeling that a few years from now, Selmar will be writing his own blog entitled "My old pain".
So appalled to read the back story here. Your dear friends were treated so shabbily by SJ after looking after her fir three years. She showed them no loyalty or support at all. And how incredibly hurtful that Dana, who they introduced to Stephanie, threw them under the bus for the chance to be ‘in’ with such a shallow, immature self-centred piece of work (aka Stephanie Jarvis)

Thank you for that reminder. Indeed he is but truth be known, he’s merely a bit of an Odd Job Man. Irregardless of his self-employment status, she should be aware of his skills - or lack of.
it doesn’t take too much common sense to see that taking up that floor, Installing a damp course, laying the floor elsewhere, requires not only a fair bit of brawn but also some specialised knowledge which I doubt Selmar has.
His weakness is not only physical but also for Stephanie. Whether I am employing someone in my home or on a building contract at work, I am always aware of not just the safety aspect but the human aspect too. SJ has shown no regard for his welfare. And with respect, that has nothing to do with with his employment status or if he has insurance.
