Well, I hate to burst yours, but having completed projects is not the same as not spending money. She's spending gobs of money, but all of it has been very poorly managed. And I don't buy for a second that anybody is giving her sweetheart deals - to the contrary, I think there are plenty of hogs at the trough taking advantage. I just see alot of squandering of money on stuff not fully thought out, or properly planned, and a lot of stockpiling of materials that aren't getting used or needed for a long while, and stupid stuff like expensive antique wall paneling that will cost a fortune to restore properly. I don't think she understands the nuts and bolts of construction/renovation and ends up getting taken for a ride. She desperately needs to sit down and make a prioritized list of projects, set budgets and a spend forecast. Frankly, I don't think she's capable of doing that and will continue to go scattershot until the patreons dry up and move on to something more interesting.
I agree with you. I am beginning to think that she is simply ‘dumb‘ rather than conniving. I also think that is why she has to get away so often. Because it really is too much for her to deal with so she reverts to her comfort zone of shopping and gallivanting around.
She really is just a tween girl stuck in a middle aged woman’s body with a lifestyle where she bit off more than she can chew.

HE is responsible for the château-verse?!
:poop:! Somebody get a TARDIS and do a Nancy Kerrigan on him, before the YouTube algorithm went haywire...
MPK's Instagram story about him creating the Youtube chateau-verse is the most preposterous claim by a superfan. What a load of bologna!

Just watched the Patreon video. I can not believe what is going on with the amount of furniture and the other stuff they are buying. And it is pouring water true the roofs...the spending disgusts me. They are putting uo ekspensive panelling in that room soon and it is not waterproof .

Isn't Marie vegetarian? Looks like a lovely bowl of mussels.
I've been told you can eat bacon if you're a vegetarian.
I tend to agree. Certainly mussels fall under the bacon for vegetarians rubric.

I suspect you are getting very close to the truth there. I see a disconnect between her dreams and her reality. She sees a great toy to play with - playmobil on a huge scale - but is overwhelmed with the scale and scope of things. If "it" is not presented out of a box she has no real reference as to what to do with "it", whatever "it" is. Like children in pre-school almost.

Added: Clint Eastwood said it in one of his movies, just after he shot the baddy - "A man's got to know his limitations" - and she doesn't.

Dans latest vlog he has so far mentioned the cooking twice so far (paused to type this):

He thinks he will cook most of it at home as it will be easier...... cleaner more like!:censored:

and, hes using lots of nice fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit from the chateau garden, about time they got used properly! :sneaky:
Cleaner, and out of the reach of the kitchen moochers the Chateau kitchen is full of. Marie couldn't get rid of them. I remember Potts showed up in the middle of Christmas dinner prep to bake his crappy bread. I know what I'd've served as chestnut stuffing that Christmas.

from today's vlog live chat. What does that even mean ?!
What else?
It's a confirmation that SJ reads Tattle Life and wants to let everyone on here know that she isn't having sex with her puppy. ;) Seems like BJJ is bi but prefers men more to women but none of them find it inappropriate to flirt with a married man in the presence of his wife.

I don't think it's unreasonable at all to ask for a new replacement belt on such a big ticket item after one years use. It is probably just out of guarantee. A belt would usually last longer than a year. My son has a couple of acres of land in Canada and uses the same model. If the mower was a few years old, yes that would be unreasonable.
Sorry but I really can't imagine anyone trying to tackle land that size with a hand mower? He clears all the woodland paths too.
I've got 2 rented allotments in the UK, about 16 large vegetable beds in total across the 2, a polytunnel (hoop house?), a grassed area, and an orchard, and I use cordless strimmers. It takes half a day to strim and its nowhere near the size of the kitchen garden at La la Land. I do have a hand mower, but believe me it's exhausting work mowing a large plot with it. 😁🥵
That mower dealer isnt going to replace a belt.....come on its maybe 150 euros...they probably didnt clear the grass out and mowed over wood sticks and things...otherwise a belt doesnt snap like that....believe me i know this...when a belt snas you are doing something really wrong..same with the blades of the small mower.you have to make sure nothing is in the grass..a stick or a treeroot...it damages your machine and the first safetything is the belt...so i would say if you pay a fortune on crap...and a new belt is too expensive...that dealer is mad if he replaces it for free..and they know it...

That mower was just a waste of money, now that they haven't been using it at least it looks greener. They should have the sheep do it,it'll fertilize the lawn as well. And now a digger for 8-10k...why do they need a digger?Seriously?
Sheep also need care...and to keep all the lawns cut you need a lot more than 6....and they fertilize indeed..a lott..you dont want sheep next to your backdoor...or at your terrace..than the place is a real shittoo..

Egads. The creeps on the couch videoing the creeps doing the tango. Ouf. I'm not sure I'd hook my leg over Selmar for any reason. 😬 Soft porn for the blue hairs. So not going there. Much less break bread with the guest creeps sleeping in my house. Ouf, again, I say, every single boundary issue I have feels like it's got taxidermy mites on it. Forty-five and 50+ tango dancers in Argentina are fantastically talented, but this just breathes out 90th-rate provincial hasbeen wannabees like Olivier's The Entertainer. Errrrrrghhh. Do you think they accept tips?
Now this is how it's done.
