Hiding his patreon earnings just shows how shadey and dishonest he is, I guess he thinks people can't do simple math to determine at lowest donation levels he's still taking in over $2500 a month. Also it doesn't take a genius to figure out he's misappropriating funds with his over extravagant lifestyle since this is his only source of income.

Zooming in on Adams' notorious €10 toile de jouy chair she's selling for €125, you can see how the tacks don't align on her trim, and how she hasn't steamed out or otherwise straightened the truly grotesque pink hula skirt trim she's affixed to side chairs. God, am I crabby. Thanks @Espe for the heads up. I do get excited when I hear SJ talk about eco energy plans for the chateau. I hope Davy, and it sounds like Philip, too, is onboard, for investment in boreholes, solar panels, and sound energy sources for the newly developing spaces.

I wonder if the very new looking €7000 Hermes Kelly that was sitting on the table during the Bordeaux trip belongs to SJ? Anna doesn’t seem the type to splurge that kind of money on a handbag. I am sure that despite the Patreon account being designated a charity that SJ would likely charge a large monthly project management fee. I used to audit charities....sadly they are very often used to finance personal lifestyles.

It would make a great extra for your guests. But mainly and foremost it would give you and everyone working so hard to restore Lalande a refreshing opportunity to relax. You all deserve breaks and treats more often and I would love to see this outdoor chillout place come true, where you of course also can swim for workout reasons.

Maybe the soil from digging the pool comes in handy for Davy's garden projects ;-)

Not Stephending - this is an example of people applying their values on SJ. The purpose for SJ is different. Big place feeds her ego. She does a lot of living, partying, traveling. Maybe more at her age than those of us who work. (I know she says she works but COME ON it is not a 9 to 5 where you can get put on a performance improvement plan if you can't project manage and hit your goals.) She gets millions of views on YouTube because of the chateau. Let's not forget the $$$$$. She's on a TV show. I imagine from SJ's perspective, who cares what happens after she's gone? Is she really interested in legacy? Narc brains seek supply while they're alive, right now.

The words that give SJ's away are: "It's always been my dream to live in a castle..." which also means, endless balls and dinner parties. She even said renovating Lalande is her life's purpose. What a pointless existence! She read too many LadyBird books and watched too many Disney films as a kid which arrested her development. IJ raised her poorly.

Cat might not stay at the tit-oh very long, perhaps just for the summer while the London Youth Choirs are on break. I hope she doesn't, anyway. Her real passion is music, not cooking up meals for B&B guests or decluttering SJ's messy chateau. She still has an active job as the Music Librarian for the non-profit. But I do hope she gets paid for whatever services she performs at Lalande.

I am sure she will make the right decisions for herself. I think she is amazing and am a complete fan. I am glad she is back. She will brighten the chateau.

Yes. It speaks directly to the centrally important role Davy now plays in the renovation of the courtyard and all other plans.
As her eyes glaze over when he pushes back or presents her with the topography map, and because his affect is not like the other Lalanders', she ghettoizes him in Patreon videos so that people who don't watch them think he's another freeloader, instead of the most important planner at the chateau. I think she'd be much more able to get FHS funds and support if she featured more of Davy on the publicly available videos and less of her drunken grifter colleagues.

I think our Flash Hag puts Davy forward because he is a member of her clan..and as she calls him a specialist...he can talk a lot about plans..but she never finishes them...let alone to start them..An outsider would not be so keen to be used...for her talking of plans and nothing gets done..Davy is convenient for her..she can discuss whatever she likes..and still doing nothing...just to keep the money flowing in..I see it as a dirty skeem..Those parterres could easily have been started..all we see is a lawn mowed like it..she is not planning to do all those works...she just talks...so the money comes in and she keeps her followers happy with a lot of excuses..Her cousin is now coming in August..he supposed to be there in may...so the expensive panneling is lying to get wasted in the stables..Has anybody seen her chandelier...she bought in Februari?? A lot of smoke and a very dirty mirror..and Davy is giving her a excuse to more lies..And btw i did some research on Davy..he mentioned where he lives..i know that area well..Nothing to be found...when you have a good business... then there must be something to be found about it...another mystery...

I do agree. I also feel, that despite trying not to, some of us have become rather obsessed by it all and feel the need to come here more than once a day just to keep up. This forum has been great with all the shared criticisms, ideas, and humour. It is refreshing to know that others share your opinion and would love all this grifting, etc. to stop but in reality, we are not likely to have much effect on the situation and most of the donors are too far gone to change their ways and SJ is certainly never going to change hers! I'm not sure that spending too much time watching the vlogs, etc., is beneficial to our own state of mind; it tends to make us feel morally superior, which we hope we are , but in my case, it also confirms that I am rapidly turning into a more critical and grumpier old woman day by Lalandian day!

I've actually stopped watching all the CD videos, as prescribed by my inner therapist, and just keep up by reading the posts here.
