Imagine the behind-the-scenes suggestions for Ch4 at the Shitoo
1) Grant shearing the sheep
2) Kirsty building a chicken coop
3) philip Janssen unboxing plates
4) owner departing for Paris/London
5) owner arriving from Paris London
6) panorama of overgrown jardin anglaise
7) Lancelot chasing peachicks (action)
8) guest dinner prep of table laying.......... ...Nah nah.......🤔
BINGO 🎉 GET ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE OUTSIDE, into the field running amok trying to herd the sheep into a tiny shed to be shorn, shouting & chasing, with little Lancelot snapping & barking behind them , not forgetting to show Philip doing his funny runny in his slippers - super hilarious - noise, action the lot !
-----------
Actually the only good thing to come out of that disaster was Gerry taking a bucket of water to the poor sheep.
I expect Philip will soon become a rightful Membre des Toseurs des Moutons 🎖( :poop:) as Caroline Gooder says "Philip knows how to drag sheep". . WHAAAAAAT????
I bet the Ch4 crew draw straws, "please god don't let it be me going to that dump... There's NOTHING worth filming.. "

Probably not worth complaining to Channel 4 until the footage is actually aired. The production company of the programme is actually Kindling Media. From their website:

Kindling Media was launched in 2018 as a wholly-owned trading division of Spark Media to produce all of Spark’s Chateau content. Further information about Chateau DIY can be found at the dedicated website ChateauDIY.com.”

Completely OT, I know, but I’m glued to the live hurricane tracking as Beryl makes her increasingly furious way towards the Caribbean. The projections aren’t great, and I’m doing a lot of finger-crossing, particularly for Barbados and Tobago (and Trinidad, although it’s not meant to be so bad there). Thinking not just of friends and family on those 3 islands but everywhere throughout the region which may take a hit. It’s not so much the actual hurricane (which can be terrifying) but the aftermath and putting the pieces back together.

You beat me to it ..
I was just going to post the details of the production company as maybe if enough complaints go in to them (together with the evidence that she has already shown the footage on her YouTube channel) …. then the despicable cruel debacle might not even make any episodes at all.

@billybudd the Vendee needs your help and your fish shack.

I've just read we are currently under attack by Louisiana Crayfish which are now taking to the streets 😆 Little buggers!View attachment 3026359

from the Nouvelle Republique

In the Vendée, the fauna of several marshy areas and waterways is endangered by the proliferation of Louisiana crayfish, an invasive species that does not hesitate to leave its habitat.

Usually confined to rivers and swampy areas, Louisiana crayfish have recently begun to leave their preferred areas. In the Vendée, they have appeared in the streets of the communes and on the roads, while multiplying at high speed in their original environment, reports France Bleu Loire Océan. The phenomenon, impossible to stop, has surprised residents and worried specialists.

Mr Spratt said he saw some in a customers garden last week.

In other news, one happy Spratty just done another covid test.........negative! Yesssss (still coughing though)
Why Jackie, you act as if you’ve never seen dinner on the claw before. Boil him up with some peppers and spices, squeeze a little lemon on and wooeeeeeie! That’s good eating there, I guarantee! Make sure to suck the head, that’s where the flavor is! Seriously, those pesky little mudbugs get in everything. Hopefully y’all never get enough of them to witness their annual pilgrimage home.🤣

I just heard from my sister about all the produce. She’s getting out of her tiny tiny tiny garden. She can barely walk. She and her partner work full-time jobs and they live in north east Ohio, where it’s freezing or ugly most of the time and she gets more produce out of her little garden, then F4F if you’re reading here, get rid of the garden get rid of the chickens get rid of the sheep get rid of the peacocks and live your travel lifestyle. If you’re followers do not mind you traveling and showing all that and they are still your patrons you should do that. Is that what you love then all of us can go back to talking about scones. You don’t want to renovate anyway!! My husband refuses to garden besides all the fruit trees as it’s labor intensive in Florida!!

The shed is at the back of that pasture.

Kirsty was on vacation, and the weather had just turned warm. Grant and Amaury had planned to be there to carry and drag them with Kirsty, but had to leave. The sheep hate the drone worse. The ram tried to kill it.

The rams are fixed, so there are no lambs. Lancelot is not allowed near the sheep without a human there. Stephanie didn't encourage this in the past. Isabelle and Percy could babysit during this kind of event.

Kirsty had the the fencing but Grant and Amaury were going to help. They left and too many people got involved. Note Philip knows how to drag rams and Pavlina drags rams and carries sheep. They have learned over the years.

Unless Kirsty has someone to take them, nothing. A volunteer was there one year to card the wool but had to leave due to family issues.

Philip needed Michael there as Amaury and Grant had left suddenly. Steven isn't allowed to lift as much weight anymore.

When there are 30 people around, things like board games are needed. Stephanie's parents moved her whole childhood into Lalande when they downsized. Stephanie has been getting rid of lots of things every six months. Even Isabelle had a box of clothes sent to charity.y six months.
How the hell would the Bad Bad very bad GOODER know ANY of this tit if she isn't Fanny herself? It beggars belief. And yet her deluded fans just eat it up with a gd spoon. Gah- I despise all of them. There are now zero glimmers of hope left with this ship of fools. They can all sod off a cliff. I haven't watched a flog in a few months now and I am not sure I ever will again.

Once again Billy showing he doesn’t like to be questioned. It also proves he does pay attention to comments. He mentioned lots of watchers are bothered by his saying a spiral library stair is too expensive yet spent thousands on the coffee maker. His response was he didn’t want a staircase and Gordon Ramsey approved of his kitchen design. To be fair his reasons on the staircase are sound. It’s an unnecessary expense when there’s already a staircase just out the door as well as an elevator. It was all very petulant, bratty child. Hmmm, sounds familiar. Although I did rather enjoy his dig at the porcelain obsessed.

I think they've already got it like that! That's the problem, they'll have to get their heads around eating them as they don't come out of the sea.

They can be funny buggers the Vendeens very very very set in their ways. Something that looks like that belongs in the sea but doesn't makes them go eeeww lol and this is people who class eating the sewer stinking andouillette a delicacy...........I have tried those too and it was a hard no from me  but I'm open to crayfish.

Should you ever decide to dip your toe in the crawfish boil, this recipe is pretty close to what my parents and grandparents used. Mind you we didn’t include the artichokes or green beans and the boil seasoning of choice was Old Bay. You can also cook them plain to use in chowders or bisques as they have a somewhat mild, sweet taste similar to lobster. Always start with fresh, live crawfish and purge them before cooking. It flushes their little system clean of any snortiness.😈

Say what is on your mind Mummy bat.
There is no doubt that Fanny is running a chaotic place and it is in desperate need of a manager who is not working remotely from Argentina.
I think next year the dump will be closed for renovations and so that Fanny can travel freely .

I know it’s not SteFanny related, but I’m watching the election fallout and it’s terrifying. My region has voted loud and clear for the far right and I’m devastated. I’ve lived in France for 35 years, this is the kick up the arse that is going to make me finally do the endless paperwork so I can take French nationality and be able to vote.

Girl... that is scary and freaky... I just can't!!! Not even!!!
Reminds me of that time when Juno Birch did her partner's make-up, LOL.

Go to 10:10 - I'm wonder if that's what PhiPhi or/and Fanny does every morning... LOL.
Bah! Thanks I couldn’t remember her name anymore.
