I haven't seen anyone excuse it - he's gone through a court case and been punished - what more would you like to have happen?
I don't really watch his vlogs or think they are nice, but I don't think someone should be condemned for life (well maybe child sex offenders and animal abusers).

Sorry I am confused, as yet I have never seen anyone excuse his behaviour. This is what I find frustrating. No person on this site has supported the past actions. Some have stated they will continue to support the channel and what wrong with that?

It is no different to those who attack Stephanie and yet watch each episode so they can find more faults and more discussion. If thats your thing, each to your own. Just as I contribute to views so do you, all helps with the algorithm and is money in their pockets.

I like the convent, its great to see a restoration project on that scale, don't always like what is done but the end of the day it their money and those who choose to financially support them.

YouTube isn’t real life. How many of us have stopped watching this one or that one for various reasons? I started watching vlogs three years ago out of boredom during the pandemic. Honestly, I no longer watch any of those now. Grifting, clickbait and right now, posters who tell their viewers how much they love them and they are their best friends are top on my list of posters I avoid. I recently stopped watching a gardening channel because they announced that they had an Amazon wish list that people could send them gifts if they wanted. Ugh!!! I find myself dodging these scammers too much and think I might need a break from the whole lot.

In poor environments criminal activities and jail time is nothing out of ordinary. No one bats and eye, no one wonders when Johnny from 3 doors down suddenly drives a Mercedes. We all know where the money is coming from. It's just waiting until he gets arrested for drugs/robbery/stealing.

They rely on their social network who just like themself have none to little education, haven't come in contact with people who do not have the ' it's in or out ' mentality. So they literally don't see the big deal. As long as they can make some money.

You go to school, you see the other kids bragging about their holidays or newest Nike's and since you don't have that, you can't fit in and consequently drop out.

Without qualifications you are not hired for jobs which might help you to develop skills and urn a good living. But you still want, what Johnny from 3 doors down has and get drawn into a culture of immorality. Because it's 'ok' everyone does it.

To get out of that toxic cycle is hard. You have to be blind, deaf and develop a tick skin and willing to put in twice as much work. Let's not talk about the looking down their nose. People from middle class and upper class do not want to engaged with people from working class and do not allow their childeren to play/study/ be friends with them either.

If the world treats you as tit, you come to believe you ARE tit.

I count myself blessed because of my parents choices. Had they not preached the importance of education, high morals and staying away from the friends who steal, do drugs or skipping class. I might have turned out to be an addict who steals or worse become a sex worker to get her next fix.

So yeah, Billy got out by being with Gwen and with that he took his whole family away from an environment of criminal activities/addicts/low morals.

watched couple of older episodes. i checked on wiki and was absolutely apalled. not one couple stayed together for long. i don't know what kind of "specialist" are leading this "experiment", but their "specialist permissions" should be taken from them for life. shows like this should be prohibited. participants are nothing but attention whores, male and female.

The 'specialists' really sell their soul to the devil - there's no going back to standard psychological assistance, once you get into the reality TV gig. They perhaps specialise in putting together couples who will provide maximum entertainment through their dysfunctional personalities and basic all round incompatibility.

According to the French news report, his sentence was suspended. So, it appears he’ll avoid jail time unless he does something else. In the US, I don’t think he would have gotten away so easily. Over 40 incidents, taking over 70 items? From churches? And a repeat offender (due to his military desertion)…I think he probably would have served some time in a US prison.

To be fair, the US does seem to throw people in jail quite easily, unless ofcourse they have money to pay their way out of it. The stories on Reddit often end up with 'he/she was given a year in jail' for fairly minor crimes. And ofcourse your sentences are way longer than for the rest of us.

People do illegal things, the law or karma takes care of it... How long should the persecution go on? Should he be homeless? Lose his family? Never succeed in life? Would that satisfy? He was incredibly stupid, disrespectful etc... He hasn't killed anyone as far as we know. His embarrassment is world wide, not just the neighbours... I like The Behavior Panel for their analysis of behaviour. I was watching an interview with Andrew Gold and an ex cop who worked on the Pakistani Moslem grooming gangs in the North of England and she pointed out that the government had spent something like 12 million pounds on the McCann case but next to nothing on the gangs' victims who were all poor and vulnerable. All a bit strange and very political. Others are convinced the McCann parents didn't murder their daughter but found her dead after an accident and got rid of the body, scared for their professional reputation.

He only got convicted on Monday-I am not into persecuting either take your punishment and of course you need to be able to make a living etc but when you do something wrong own it don't go into a huge strop because you got found out. Everyone can redeem themselves but acting like an aggrieved brat is not a good look. Either say nothing of show some humility. I don't think the world is looking on most people wouldn't know Teflon Billy if they tripped over his eyebrows.He will ride the storm as most people don't look beyond the vlogs he will be fine

Yes, Billy has been tried and punished. I think the public flogging is cathartic for a lot of people, especially since the news is fresh. And he’s made himself a public figure, so what would he expect? Billy will move on without skipping a beat. He gave the whole story about 5 seconds of time in his video today. I’m sure he’ll cry himself to sleep…dry his eyes with wads of Gwen’s cash. Crack on! (Edit…Billy’s work on the convent is light years beyond anything we’ve seen from Fanny…I respect that)
