The internet can be a wicked place. Hateful people hide behind its anonymity to spread their personal miseries. We should pity them and their sad lives. Billy, your personal matters are your own. It is not up to us to judge you or anyone. I am grateful that there are people like you and your family and friends who put such effort and care into projects such as the convent, chateaux and cottages. Your videos are something that I look forward to and that make my days brighter. I have missed you the past few days and I'm very happy to see you back at it. Crack on, dear friend! I believe it was Marcus Aurelius who said, "The only wealth which you will keep forever is the wealth you have given away." From my vantage point - and I am positive so many of your channel viewers would agree - I see an enterprising family that shares freely of themselves and a family that not only builds, but restores, cares for beauty, history and the people who pass through it. Billy ya don't really don't owe anybody .. don't feel pushed into a corner. I am happy to help every time you or Michael have asked. I am Patreon at a high level and hope to visit the convent someday. It's a bucket list. I love what your doing. You can't please everyone so don't even try just do you and your daily vids. I look forward to seeing the convent everyday ... especially now that the library is being started with that beautiful fireplace you found! OhMyGosh it is so nice!

Don’t let anyone ever get under your skin, they are not worth your time and energy responding to. Jealousy of someone else’s life is a sad part of todays values. I do not care about what you did 10 years ago and I certainly do not care about the costs involved in the Convent renovation. All I know is that I love to see you put your heart and soul into bringing life back into a redundant building and if people cannot see that then more the fool them. On a personal note, you, Gwendoline and Michael and your dad give me such a positive feeling of family all pitching in together and I am loving seeing your 2 boys growing up, you should be PROUD. Love to you and all the family

Suspended sentence
According to the French news report, his sentence was suspended. So, it appears he’ll avoid jail time unless he does something else. In the US, I don’t think he would have gotten away so easily. Over 40 incidents, taking over 70 items? From churches? And a repeat offender (due to his military desertion)…I think he probably would have served some time in a US prison.
Fanny, no doubt, is loving this new Petherick scandal. It's taking the heat and spotlight off her. I wouldn't be surprised if it was her or one of her goons feeding the Daily Mail and not the creepy Strawbridges.
