The Church of $tephinology and the Order of the Spode
Were founded by a scrounger who lived in a very large abode
That she could neither heat nor maintain
And that had remained the same
Since the day she had moved in
Full of clutter like a bin
And in winter it was freezing cold
That’s why it was sold
To a fool like her
The lazy scrounger
With the faux blonde hair
Who fell into a trap
Set by the old marquis
She bought a pile of crap
And made him very happy
For he had begun to despair
He thought he’d have to die there
Until the fish took the bait
And relieved him of the weight
Of the terrible burden
Of having to fund and maintain
A shato with a strange name.

Mrs G always got worked up when the MIL donned her broom and came on a visit. She could give Miserabelle a run for her money on that front!
I remembered when Tomaz organised the laundry room. I would have hired him to organise mine pre MIL visit... well maybe not

Not at all young Padowan. Just had flashbacks to my Mother in law and broomsticks! The clouds would descend on a visit and Gibson Towers never looked as good. Children would be scrubbed and primed to kiss her whiskered cheek. We had a well rehearsed routine. I would polish and water down the sherry.
It's better than therapy on here...

He could always tap dance or do the charleston in the petit salon... be it for views or Loki Cleveland.

Watching along. There really is a lot of plastic tat and piles of clutter in this chateau SJ is touring

Yes, there was but it was refreshing to get away from CLL and the couple seemed pleasant and quite natural in comparison with SJ. Both she and Philip are like a couple of clowns, having a day off from the circus. She is caked in make up and tottering around on high heels while Amy looks so much more natural. I know I've said it before but SJ's body language and gestures are uber-annoying; she is so unantural, self-conscious and prone to posing. She never seems to know where to put her hands after her OTT gesturing. That dreadful laugh is also not at all natural. Of course, Philip had to play the piano and she had to sing. They are both so immature. These things are even more noticeable when she comes out of her gilded cage and mixes with more normal people.

I enjoyed it but it could have been edited better. I didn’t mind it looked lived in and they seemed at ease to show it like that. At least SJ didn’t have her baps out in this one

I can relate to the old marquis when we sold our sailboat. The new owners were all teary eyed opening a champagne bottle, when I burst into tears, they rushed to my neck and promised to take good care of our boat etc. But I was crying the tears of relief, finally we got rid of that barely floating piece of turd that caused us nothing but trouble since day one. One of the happiest days of my life.
