She probably learned how to mimic the sex act from watching porno and practicing in front of a mirror. 🤣

I'll raise you one in the grammar department. 🤣 Sorry, it's the teacher in me, can't help it.
Is Stupider (Stupidest) a Word?

GRAMMAR
  • Stupider is the comparative form of the adjective stupid. Because stupid is a two-syllable word, its comparative form can be created either by adding the suffix “-er” or by using more.
  • The same goes for the superlative form of stupid. It can be either the stupidest or the most stupid.
When these questions come up I always pull my childhood grammar text (yes I still have it) to see the preferred usage at the time I was learning. I can’t help it, my love of multisyllabic $5 words goes back to that time. My school teacher gran would give us a vocabulary list each week. If we successfully learned the list, could spell it, conjugate where necessary and use it in a sentence she would slip us a nice crisp five dollar bill. If we’d been especially precocious with our sentence structure payment was in the form of a pair of two dollar bills and a silver dollar. I never failed to earn the prize. Little brother was always bored and crying for my prize money, the rotten brat!🤑

I’m not sure if I’m supposed to feel stupider or more stupid! 😆 All I know is these stupid people need to stop giving the fake chatelaine money…They are the most stoopid-iest of all! 😆😆😆

This will be the next thing to be done at my Mum's place, luckily she wasn't someone who kept things as she really didn't like clutter and had charity shopped a lot of stuff years ago. There are only three things she asked me to 'look after' that were of true sentimental value to her, the rest she said tip or charity shop. The only crap in her house at the moment is what my brother left and put in the attic when he moved out and his overflow of crap he's put back in since being in his own place as his wife doesn't like clutter. Luckily it's either in the attic or out in the shed but not my problem, he put it there.
My older sister used to work for a charity and she said it was totally heart breaking what some families threw away after a family death.
My new home is very minimalist although I do have a medium chest full of family photos/documents, past and present. I have even written on the back of the photos as my son will not know who they are, just in case he decides to do the "family tree" at some stage in the future. And, have given him details of what jewellery pieces are real diamonds etc as opposed to paste/costume. Everything else, he can either keep for himself (prob some electronics, maybe), or donate.
Thankfully, we cleared out the huge loft in my last home 18 months ago - that was such a major job as it involved 40 years of memories which was bitter sweet, most of which I had forgotten we had stored away up there. :)
My job is done! ❤

Not to take a swipe at our friends Stateside, but I never forgot the nationwide questionnaire that National Geographic carried out some years back. They presented an A3 map of the US and asked questions like, "Show me where we are", where is New York" etc. The answers were shocking, some didn't realise what Canada was!
Sorry to derail--please scroll by if not your cup of tea. This is an interesting subject to me (as we wait for CD material to shred). It grieves me that geography and history are not taught consistently in the U.S. (actually, I don't believe any subject is taught consistently or very thoroughly). In my opinion, our entire education system needs to be overhauled. It seems to me, based on what evidence we see from our live interactions with people, social media, news reports, and even watching live news interviews, we aren't all well-versed at basic grammar and writing skills, much less geography, history, or our political structure. In what subjects are Americans well educated? I don't know! It is shameful and embarrassing, but I'm not sure we can say the majority of Americans are ignorant and uneducated. The reason I am suggesting this is because of the numbers of people who receive a private education and/or a college education. You may graduate from public high school without knowing much (the system is definitely broken), but, with higher education (and maturity, one hopes), you should gain broader knowledge of the world, as the first year or so is focused on general education vs. your specialty. Also, having been around many privately-schooled people, they definitely receive a better education than the publicly schooled (and of course, not everyone coming out of the public school system remains ignorant). This is a huge subject and it's not my intent to categorize entire countries or insult anyone. I do believe culture has a lot to do with the ignorance we see. But also, I don't think the U.S. is alone in having geography ignorance.

Quoting a Mr. Joachim De Bie from a statement he posted in Quora several years ago:

"So here is the thing of the United States, it’s a huge country with a huge entertainment industry. It’s probably the most culturally dominant country in the world. Foreign influences are very limited, so you have very little incentive to learn about geography. So for me, I would say that in general, the more culturally dominant a country, the more ignorant its citizens are about the world." Rings true?

So Selling up and buying a Chateau met with Not quite a Chateau and Journey to a Chateau in their new vlog.
OK I fast forwarded thru it but I did see quite a family of dogs. Do Patrick and Stuart own these, I think I counted 8.

A lot of other chateau channels are starting their kitchen renovations. Poor Stephanie, if only she could afford to renovate her’s. Maybe we should start a Go Fund Me for the missing new Lalande kitchen?
I think that they are tailgating you @Jules100 at your southern most chateau. Well, you did start the ball rolling months before any of the others, didn't you? ❤
Hope your's is all now, finally complete - AND, you didn't e-beg one cent either! ;)

I 100% used an estate sale company. It was way too much for me to handle alone. As much as I cherished my loved one, I never looked at their belongings as one day being mine. That was their life. And I didn't feel guilty for not keeping everything. Having been previously married to a hoarder (and narc of all narcs) I have chosen to live with a minimum of "things".

My grandmother taught up to age 62, then substituted until 70. She always said when the American school system started being used as a babysitting warehouse, our education quality began it’s slide into mediocrity. And the cultural dominance/ignorance statement is spot on…unfortunately.

i think she doesnt even ask companies for surveys...its all a bunch of lies to derail and delay...and in the meantime go on holiday and stretch out the money coming in...what a fraud...and they all play along...a.very akward family...i guess they are used to mislead people...it has been their business all their lives..all of them...even the ones who are in Fannies friends and volunteercircle...I am still amazed the one who left dont speak out...What power is Fanny holding over them?? is she blackmailing them? telling them she will sue them?? so akward..

I agree with you. She had all the relevant/appropriate people initially visit her and then, once she knows how much their surveys will ultimately cost, she puts that on the back burner for the future, maybe to commission them in the future - not a fact, of course! Obviously, costs will increase in any event. Who really knows?
Once, she discovered how much the surveys will cost, (not forgetting the costs involved too), she then releases that info via Patreon, and all the saddo Patrons feel sorry for her and continue their patronage in the hope that the work will be carried out asap in order to rescue all the dilapidated structures/rooms/areas of the HMN.
IMO, SO NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN WITHIN THE NEXT 5 YEARS, NO MATTER HOW URGENT WHATEVER WORK IS REQUIRED.
Simply because, Stephanie Jarvis will spin it all out for as absolutely long as possible in order to inflate her "personal" bank account. END OF FAIRY PRINCESS CHATEAU TALE!
When all the above has happened, she will sell the HMN as her family dynasty may have been depleted by then, (not ever wishing ill on anything or anybody, of course), and she will be living by the ocean in SA with all her father's artwork and the monkeys shitting everywhere as an aging past YTuber with A N OTHER toyboy! 🤮

After recently clearing my in law's house, I feel sorry for the person who, down the line, will have to deal with clearing all the crap out of the HMN.
As I get older I am trying to "declutter" I know that upon my death my only son will auction off the contents of the house and dumpster the rest. And that's ok. My neighbor died a a year and a half ago, his son took over the house and he died 4 months later. ( he had advanced cancer) his son took over the house ordered a dumpster and started throwing everything out- I went over and was happy to purchase an antique bedroom set for 125.00 US and about 40 free mason canning jars. My point is to us it might be worth something or a memory, to others it's just junk. Cherish the relationships and people in your life the rest is just clutter. IMHO
[/QUOTE]
You're right - relationships and experiences are what matter in this world. A few weeks ago, we stopped at an estate sale in my neighborhood and it was so sad to see all the items that had been lovingly collected or given as gifts, over the years, being sold for pennies. There was a huge collection of Lenox porcelain, there must have been 200 pieces, that were being sold for a few dollars each and if it did not sell it was going to be donated or trashed. It was so sad, someone spent a lifetime and a literal fortune on these items and now they are garbage. Imagine it they would have spent that money on something that actually mattered or made a difference in the world, instead of a vase...

I think that is one of the major reasons I get so disgusted with LaLaLande. Stef has more $hit than any twenty people need and all she wants is more, more more... She has more money than she needs and all she wants is more, more, more... It can be a fill in the blank - Stef has more __________ than she needs, yet, all she wants is more, more, more...

Yes, they have a lot of them. They even lost one for several weeks. Luckily, they got it back. I love dogs (have 2 rescued Boston Terriers), but that many would be a bit overwhelming (for me).

Timey Wimey Patron Video

- Structural Survey for the Grand Salon will be REALLY expensive - EU2,700. The Ardmore Vase cost EU3,600 (SA Rand 66,000). Suggest Fanny hawk the vase to pay for the survey.
- Snorty appears to be wearing Fanny's sweater (looks similar to the cashmere sweater which had holes and she sewed patches on)
- Aunt & Oncle return after NY Eve to spend a couple of days. I call BS on the timing. They have to cook the dinner for Fanny, Snorty, Cuz, Dan and Kim.
- Mummy & Percy, along with Natti & her family have apparently already escaped. No fond goodbyes, no honking horns and no spins around the courtyard - that's when you know Fanny's time clock is broken
- January in the garden and Fanny seems surprised nothing much is happening - 1 carrot, a few radishes, a kale stale bush and some nasty artichokes. Kirsty was not impressed with Fanny's stale bush artichokes
- Cuz is losing 1/3 of his workshop and this will make it more challenging to do large projects. No explanation as to why the new electric boiler has to go into the workshop area vs. one of the unused, outbuildings.
- Cuz and Dan head off on a mystery road trip - really just head off to pick up a case of beer.
- Dinner for 4 - Fanny, Snorty, Cuz and Dan (no Kim). What a mishmash of a meal & enough food to feed an army - bucket of soup made from leftovers, 4 chickens, salad, pasta, bolognese sauce. Definitely clearing out the fridge before heading south for an unearned holiday.
- There is a big tool in the kitchen perched over the stove.
- Why is Dan always there for dinner or is it really dessert he's interested in?
This was clearly the day Dan took his pic... same clothes, kitchen curtains in the background..

Why isn't Turkey Fangs at his own Chateau?
Didn't he say something about a cabin? Well, that takes money too !!!
Just when is he starting on building this cabin ?
Judging by the state of his tongue on Insta, he's been licking a floor space ready for it.

I think that any psychoanalyst would relish the opportunity of getting Stephanie Jarvis into their office for numerous appointments AND, it would take many to get to the bottom of her past life insecurities!
They would have a field day, without a shadow of a doubt and, possibly, ultimately publish many research papers that would be truly pure gold, mind-blowing, within the field too.
Me thinking, future Professorships a plenty and also, a high earning author within the genre too!

For the love of all things holy, I wish they’d stop calling it a castle. They sound childish and the word conjures this kinda image…

Does this mean she’s no longer a Chatelaine and in fact a Castellan if it’s not a chateau but a castle?

A plot? A collaboration? Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. All I said was that Stephanie Jarvis was probably happy with the royal derail. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to take that remark more serious than anything else said here.

Even if I could, no. I guess by now everybody has given up keeping score.

Like I said, my educated guess is they are in South Africa by now. Most of Christmas flogs were prerecorded, some really early on. She did spend Christmas in the shittoo though, I am quite sure of that. There's a lot of strategy being pushed and tried, like the "collapse" of the oldest part of her CHMN, but Stephanie Jarvis has not yet decided what the way forward will be, so she's mostly sticking to what she already knows and what has brought her succes before: confusing her audience with messy timelines.
I’ve seen this remark before. How do you know she is sleeping with all the males? What am I missing?

Yes, Patrick and Stuart breed and show Irish terriers. Lovely dogs, but my gods, they are energetic. Patrick and Stuart brought all their dogs from the USA to their chateau. It must have cost them a pretty penny for all eight! I wonder if they plan to apply for a breeders license in France?

Good point! Fan will use whatever term best fits the situation. Princesses live in castles, while chatalaines live in chateaux. Call it what you will, it's still a HMN. 🤣
