I think it all don’t add up. I’m sure it’s a. Three year course and 5k don’t cover three years tuition. Yet sj has indicated the cost to be 5k. One of the applicants who was interviewed said about needing accommodation expensive etc all covered. Surely if it was just for tuition and excluding all the other extras that would add up then spero should have stated that.They're just babies.Gosh that was heartbreaking. For $5000? Can they manage on that until graduation? Is it even worth it or is it a scammy fashion school? It's really too bad we are only about 60 people here, and not the powerhouse of gossip we're being accused of. A tattle GFM for all the kids who aren't picked for the scholarship would be awesome. I agree. To me, Dan doesn't come across as a "gardening" gardener, as in a plantsman (either vegetables/soft fruit) or creating a "cutting garden"/herbaceous borders (of which there are none...so far!) and I think he's learning a lot as he goes along. He's obviously very capable and seems to have bucketloads of commonsense, an attribute that doesn't march hand in hand with other characters in Le Cirque de Lalande.
He seems to have the measure of IJ and get on with her, which is no mean feat. And he is singularly unimpressed by SJ's affected posturing and theatrical gushing about the wonderfulness of everything. All in all, he's a bit of star!
No it seems like a small amount of money for a bunch of desperate kids who won't be able to afford to stay after the first year or even less, and probably won't have a job when they get out. Spero should probably address that. She just donated scholarship money and I'm pretty sure Spero is making sure she pays for all three years with this video. Interesting.
You're not wrong. I'm just putting in my requests because I am a gardening gardener. Actually IJ and Dan would probably think my garden style was too wild. Wild flowers, hollyhocks and sunflowers got me in trouble at work for years with people like them. The Maintenance and Operation Department was not my friend.

The pump for that monstrous fountain broke down years ago and drove Percy crazy, because he was supposed to fix it, but couldn't. No surprise it's still broken.

I’m surprised more people aren’t mentioning how MPK went on holiday to Madrid to visit his friend/ boyfriend?? Staying at a lavish hotel and going out to eat, spending loads of €€€, but the minute it’s time for cottage reno, he all of a sudden has no more money and needs to bring out the begging bowl.

I say it can't be helped.
