Re: recent postings and discussion of GoFundMe policies and the potential for refunds, here's Patreon's refund policy. Note that Patreon takes no responsibility for making their creators accountable as to whether they meet their goals or fulfill their promises to patrons:

Refunds
Except in the most extreme of cases, we will not issue a refund for you. Any of your Patrons that contact us asking for a refund will be told the following:
  • As part of our policy, only creators can issue refunds for any payments made to them. In this situation, you’ll need to reach out to the creator and request a refund.
  • Patreon provides a platform that allows content creators to earn a sustainable income. Each separate creator has their own approach to reward delivery/fulfillment, meeting goals, and how they interact with their community as a whole. Patreon will never make the choice to initiate a refund on the behalf of creators.
However, this means that refunds are on you: if a patron contacts you and asks for a refund for a charge or a set of charges, your choice in the matter is very important! Please be mindful of your presence in our community of creators and patrons, as well as your obligations to fulfill your promises to your patrons.

Dan in Paris. At one point in the vlog the boys are in a car with no car seats, only adult belts. At the end they are in car seats. Diff car?? Also who brings small kids to a city with lots of walking to be done without a buggy/pram/pushchair. Even if it's a buggy for one with a buggy board for the second to stand on.
It looks as if they are in a taxi to the Metro station.

Brenda! I don't know if that was really you, or a parody account, but you do lurk on here so please openly join in. I think the craic would benefit.

And also, please allow anonymous and friendless posters to join your humble Facebook group. I like to keep my professional and frivolous lives separate, so have full privacy settings on social media, but it's annoying to be shut out of some groups as a consequence.
same here and it’s a joke when even the group owners and moderators then hide behind no face pics themselves.

still don’t get how Brenda condemned the petherick brand on one group just to post about it another one and clearly still watching and supporting them.

Fanny is not a nanny! How dare T A suggest that?! She is a princess. Repeat after me: She is...(she is)....a princess (a princess).

as we know the take advice from here. But also that it takes them a while to implement. Expect in future videos for her to try become relatable. Stroke a cat and a dog. And perhaps even have Dan’s kids round and letting them eat from her Spode and drink from her expensive glasses. Perhaps one of them can accidentally drop an expensive plate or two and steefniii can show her caring side.

I see a fair few oldies on there and on Tiktok! I think creativity is subjective as you say.

On the other hand re job titles, I wonder if that is a 'thing "these days? For example when sorting out insurance for cars or home etc. You need to put a job title. I just had a quick try on the online form, it doesn't come up.
Also for YouTubers and influencers who make a living showing pics of their home or DIY on their home with 'How to videos/vlogs' what would the implications be for insurers if that was their job title? Given the ease in which people can find things it is quite a worry.
One Vlog I follow in Sweden (gardening...I know I'm older) has had people turn up on her doorstep demanding tours of her garden. She bought another property specifically for her gardening/youtube business. I expect it is labelled under a business.
My point is that YouTube as a business raises all sorts of interesting questions. I think many an insurer/ tax man will have fun.
Point in question would be the 'influencers' on Instagram masquerading as Male escorts. I am sure the tax man would be very interested in them. Social media provides enough evidence.
There are plenty of job titles that have been around for decades, maritime crew or cruise ship is not considered a standard job, plus the bonus of this is UK tax is easily claimed back as the individual is out of their ‘tax home country’ for more than 6 months in a 12 month period. Which is perfectly legal. So the crew who are also vloggers can also claim their YT tax back as well.
So for MPK et al, if they keep their tax residency in the UK, but spend more than 6 months away their accountant will just make a claim against their taxes.
I would imagine now more holidays outside of Europe will be required for those who take advantage of this so may be vlogs from Tunisia/USA etc as they have Patreon and YT, buy me a coffee money to spend. Plus the bonus is the more they do the more for Tattle.

France like many other European countries does not have travel restrictions (they tried last year by remaining only within their department (county)) and it made no difference to their figures. France has a curfew (law) and number of people meeting in a household (guidance). The economy is down, so the governments allow their residents to travel within their country in an attempt to keep somethings going.

Get a room, you two.

Their level of impertinence might shock us, but by not addressing it in public it will always be just us, the tiny angry minority, as SJ labeled us in her answer to MPK's sobbing, words that were meant disparaging, but let’s wear them like a badge of honor. Better tiny, angry and a minority than to be complicit to her emptiness.
We are not so tiny anymore. There's 50 000 views weekly in this thread. She needs to do some deep soul searching why this has happened and we've grown so fast.

We are growing faster. Her subscribers are coming to read also our narky comments about her escapades. Doubles the fun.
Subs - fair enough
Patreons really should try reading here instead of blindly following their every word - tbh I don't think I care if they all get scammed - beginning to think some of them deserve it - a fool and their money are easily parted!

Watched this on CH5 - £10,000 for a single tassle
Is this the kind of pricing structure for Watts of Westminster?

nd making YT videos isn't a métier - anyone can pick up a phone and make a video. None of them have had any training in film-making and it shows.

now with all the prep ✅ done in 1:5 hrs

Re the job titles. I've always found it interesting that we can legally tweak them to possibly get cheaper insurance.

I just wondered if vlogger would be on in future (maybe even grifter ;) )

I know other issue re insurances, such as not announcing you're on holiday on social media and posting live updates of where you are. (The Kardashian robbery was a good eg of that)

I suspect it will all be something added to the clauses for insurers in the future.

Keeping things going isn't the first priority. This is why the strong advise remains to stay at home when possible and restrict traveling to the rare circumstance that it's absolutely essential, you know, like visiting new members of the shat-o-clan or go explore gay Madrid. Legal? Probably. Sensible? Not really.

There's 50 000 views weekly in this thread.
Where do you find these numbers?

I think Michael has gotten very comfortable in his grifting, maybe even feeling a bit beyond reproach but because of that he's now getting sloppy.
I think Michael self-destructs at everything he does. Most telling to me was his self-admitted failure as a hairdresser. Making tons of money doing extensions and then losing all of his clients after he hid from them for months. In a couple years his sob story will be how he started a successful YouTube channel and lost it all because he didn’t want to make videos anymore. ITS A PATTERN. He needs a shrink to sort all his mess out. If he can go to Madrid he could go to Lalande but he doesn’t want to. I think Stephanie figured it out and moved on with Phillip as her new BFF. At least she can depend on him.

Michael is what I would call a piece-of-tit, anal-retentive, man baby.
