That pergola. Aargh.
It’s the same as the scaffolding in the courtyard.
It’s badly designed. The designer should be here to oversee staking out.
The structure will never be self supported. It’s been hours and hours of time to Brico, with Amoury Davey and Dans wages. Endless unnecessary materials and it is just another thing to maintain.
It’s like the plant buying. It doesn’t matter as patron are paying.
36 ? blackberry plants. Who does this?
12 hops….
When will the bulbs arrive?
Davey has been walked over. He also should have ensured an engineer wa involved with that earth movement behind and around the chapel.
Stephanie claims that area behind the chapel will be self sufficient in water in two years. NONSENSE.
Also what happened to Lewis the garden hand?

And so much for using table cloths and china for summer party’s and end up having prawn cocktail out of a cup.
What is the lazy squirrel doing
I was wondering if chapel started to crack before or after they did earth works around it.

From my understanding, Dan has done away with the "dailies" - thank God!
Going forward, (who really knows) from what he said, he will be concentrating on a weekly patreon vlog for only another month - does he mean end of Sept or, Oct? He stated a few weeks ago, only another month until it was closed down, if I remember correctly, didn't he?
Therefore, in the interim a patreon vlog once a week released on Friday, followed by the same vlog openly available via YT on Sunday - one vlog per week, correct? 2 birds with 1 stone scenario!
He has defo learnt from serving at the altar of the ultimate scammer extraordinaire, e.g. Stephanie Jarvis. Re-use, re-cycle with the absolute minimal effort but with the most optimal financial gain!
Well, he is now 35, witnessed and served his YT apprenticeship at the HMN to have gained that "profound" knowledge and business acumen. :D
Will be interesting to watch what comes next.
As @C'est moi has already stated, I too feel that maybe Dan has secured this property via un-euro-symbolique. How else would it be possible for him to do so, unless he has a financial backer? But, at the same time, I imagine that behind that scheme there are numerous Gov restrictions and, much like the UK, possibly, "heritage/listed buildings" regulations to adhere by, or perhaps, something similar.
For example, in the UK, much along the lines of imposing a "restrictive covenant" written into the sale/purchase contract. Been there, done that, myself, unfortunately!
Whatever, he defo will not be able to do his usual Brico breeze block construction routine!
I don't care what Dan does, I will always know him as Dan the gardener. He could win the Nobel prize for literature and I'll still think of him as Dan the gardener. And if this château of his falls over, I guess he'll wish that he was, Dan the gardener 😁

I was going to contradict you but actually your son is entirely correct. Patrons only get the priveledge of paying her. That's really it. She needs to pull herself together and sort out the gaggle of malingerers she seems to attract. Starting of course with Phillipa who apoears to have reached such a level of uselessness that even she must be able to see it. Hence the snipey remarks she seems to let slip. But let's face it, they're all sniping at each other. Gosh, it must be fun living there! Pity covid struck and IJ was stuck in the beach house
Love her or dislike her, Phillipa would never have been able to get its slippers so firmly parked under SJ 's bed if IJ had been there.
That's interesting you say that, how/why were you initially going to contradict me? I am honestly rather intrigued!
I too felt that my son had summed up CD 100% correctly from the word "go"!
My son is 30 years younger than me so I do bow to his far more superior understanding of current day social media/YT trends than my own.
I am always open to hearing others' POV without taking any kind of offence whatsoever. :)

And handyman.
And not a good one either.

I think we should all head over to his premier and bombard him with questions.

I was going to say that SJ provided entertainment but then remembered that's not for patreon, patreon is all about renovation.

Dan was never, ever a fully trained horticultural gardener - end of story!
Just a jobbing Brit in rural France trying to make a living with a hedge trimmer and a van etc. Fair play to him as it was SJ who initially called him a gardener, not himself! :)

Exactly, I agree 100%. And, as we all know, that is what SJ promised right from the outset to her Patrons = restoration and renovation.
The CD and the GAG are 2 separate entities.
God, in all honesty, she makes my blood absolutely boil with her "covert" manipulation of the real facts.

Billster Petherick given Dan a huge shout out for his Ruin with links in his tonight's vlog and singing his praises

His Library panel he IS NOT going to cut down (unlike Fanny cloaked direct dig I think). P.s. Ryan is back.

I think that might be me done with The Pethericks. I can't stand Ryan and within about 4 minutes of the Petherick vlog when he did a shout out for his own blog, I wanted to punch him out. He's a waste of space, and they'll be back to making homophobic and sexist comments before you know it. . Not watching the Pethericks for that abysmal moron to keep popping up.

Oh no, I was looking forward to watching but I have Ryanitis. Whenever he opens his mouth I come out in hives! My doctor has expressly forbidden me from watching him. Damn.

Mr. Know-it-All from Bore-dough can’t seem to keep his passion project clean let alone get it done. Dare I say he has run out of passion?

The property looks like a dump outside and rooms are full of crap. This just isn’t about lack of money. It’s lack of direction. Oh that poor wifey. At least she has her flower arranging to explain away her inability to help get it done.

So tonight's Dan flog is just a repeat of his Patreon flog. They don't get much for their money do they. I was going to join in the live chat, but then remembered he blocked me for calling him a stupid irresponsible dick to lower his kids into a septic tank.

Best comment on the live chat though: "I see you have loads of house plants already."

Isn’t this interesting?
Truly illuminating just how friendly Anna and Stephanie Jarvis are in real life would be my take on that. 100% NOT! :ROFLMAO:

I was about to post the same. While I am glad, that she is acknowledging the passing of Ian, to commercialise his passing for her own benefit. It makes me vehemently sick! 🤮🤮🤮🤮
But, none of us are really surprised that she has done it in this way, are we? 🤮

I agree Ryan is a moron. Switched off when he arrived on the scene.
