Poor Hobi, the cone of shame. Such big personality dogs for small body. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. I have a friend in Dublin that could pass as a sister of @Jules100 both in appearance and speech intonation (Obs with diff local accent) any relatives this side of the pond.

Well observed.
He knows he's on his way out the door and is, like a child, lashing out.
Guys, I just don't get the feeling that Pubes is on his way out! I know, cut out my tongue for saying that.
But Fanny seems enamoured with the twat.
If they really ARE engaged I think IJ will have an uphill battle.
StephenMe is using Snorts as her wing man/ back up in her battle against her mom to get her way. 2 against 1. To prove that SHE, Fanny, is the boss at the dump. Not Mummy. In truth, Fanny is scared of her mum.
And it appears that IJ is already run down and exhausted having to just deal with her crazy ass daughter for the past week!!!
I don't think, at her age, she has the stamina to resist the daughter narc and her ugly son.
IJ is going to give up the ghost.

BUT! If you are reading here, IJ, you need to keep your big girl pants on and kick that useless piece of nose back from whence he came! Sadly, you are our last hope!! Do not cave!!!
As Winnie the Pooh says," Think. Think. Think, think, think."
There has got to be a way.

I think this is after? I have messaged a local history lady to ask some questions…… but even if it after it gives an into shared bedrooms…. Dark… lack of food… getting them up at 5.45 am. Also how could they afford to buy that place even tumble down on a nurse wages. It does not add up.

Get well soon, Hobi!
Hopefully it's nothing serious. My late pup randomly got a bump down there too. The vet didn't know what it was so he prescribed antibiotics and told me to keep an eye on it. It grew to the size of a golfball and came to a head... exploded one night... puss and blood all over the bed! So nasty, but luckily that was the worst of it and he made a full recovery.

Glad you liked 'Old Rennes', very pretty. Vannes is also lovely. We've a shop (warehouse) in La Roche Sur Yon called Tissu de Renard, fabulous fabric, knitting, crochet shop. I try not to go very often as it's very dangerous territory for me, I just end up adding to my stash.

Insect/mosquitoe bites two products that are good one is called Zensect the other Picsoll, trouble is now at the end of the season they're harder to find. Or good old Vicks vapour rub, they don't like that. I know Picsoll does and afterbite spray but I try not to scratch the bite (know it's difficult) as for me after about 20 min it's all gone. Used to suffer terribly here at first but not so much now.

Following "Château de Purnon", just received a grant for restoration with Stephane Berne. Busy with roof restoration. Worth following, Aussie couple.
I take it you mean Stéphane Bern the French journalist, tv personality? He IS Monsieur Patrimoine in France. He also presents the French edition of Eurovision.

La Mission Patrimoine, which is supported by the ministry of culture as well as the national lottery consider projects for restoration grants. There is often a small between programme segment on France television highlighting half a dozen or a dozen projects which are up for consideration. Bravo if these guys have secured one. Pretty sure fanny wouldn't be considered, if she applied, and also pretty sure Monsieur Bern would just dismiss her without a moment's hesitation.

You can get bug/mosquito spray for your body and clothes, I have heard a fabric softener dry sheet rubbed on clothes and in your pocket (not sure it works) I use Skintastic unscented spray- to stop the itch look for something called "chiggerex" it has benzocaine in it to stop the itch. there are other over the counter or "amazon" creams and lotions for the after bite look for something that has a "caine" in it like lidocaine or benzocaine to stop the itch . also can use ice and/ or take a benedryl to stop the histamine reaction. I get bitten just thinking about them.. Good luck

Yep, Fanny has ruined many spaces in the dump. She has taste for shit.
What absolutely floors me is it works at both ends of the wealth scale -- shit at Emmaus and shit at Scalamandre/Ardmore. In both places treasures are to be found, but she heads straight for the granny tat.

Wishing him all the best. It's always a worry with them. Bless that little face

I wonder if that is "Pear and Cherry Tree Slug" ...... very common and you spray for it . You have holes in the leaves as well as that black slug which is small.
No holes in the leaves, just upper leaves curled up with black moth lines running through. Lower branches fine.
Have now pruned them all off, really early imho, but drought conditions have brought everything on early this year.
At least the birds/insects have benefitted this year

We bought mosquito spray at the drug store in France works so much better than what we have in Canada and I inadvertently found that hand sanitizer takes the sting out fast

I love any programme Stéphane Bern puts out on TV Secrets d'Histoire, he was given an OBE too.

Jumping to question #54,342....????
Concerning Dan the Man with the Van and new teeth!
Why do you all suppose that his Patreon is closing?
He probably needs to get done with that addition before it does, don't you think?
It seems he is losing his love of filming....sorry Hollywood! He ain't coming!

Dumbass Miss Jarvis thought initially that it was like go fund me instead of monthly contribution.
So she had targets for patreon, when that amount was reached they would do x. So the matresses didn't cost 17k.
Thanks for clearing that up @Luna20 - I’ll stop being utterly bewildered by the whole thing.
@Yebo … thankfully Luna20 has shed light on the situ.

Pranarom spray and bite cream. Most French pharmacies, works a treat.
Para'kito bracelet which holds a anti mosquito lozenge. Again, most french pharmacies.

Unfortunately, here in France, they only seem to stock those things May to August and don't do pre-orders. We keep telling our local pharmacy that mosquitoes are a year long problem and no longer seasonal. Always particularly bad going into September. I've found that I can now get the Pranarom from Amazon and on repeat orders.

So far, the Patreon page was owned and operated by Anna Liese and Dan together, with the premise of using the money to support their family. As it seems by now, both parties have moved on separately for some time.

Could mean that one or the other probably will come back with their own Patreon page and they won’t need to share the income anymore.

We don't have many biting bugs in Ireland so we seem to attract them when away. Any suggestions to 1. Reduce the itch when bitten and 2. Stop getting bitten in the first place.
Mosquitoes love me. I use mosquito spray, that usually works. No specific brand, just whatever catches my eye at the store. To stop the itch, I use cortisone cream, works great.

I probably do. Here’s my 23&me breakdown. I found my dad’s surprise biological father. I opened a big can of worms about 3 years ago. He’s the Sicilian part.
