You should not deny Mrs G those few small pleasures in life (like watching Eastenders, luxury chocolates and collecting fine china) If you let us Tattlers have your address and her preferences (ie Spode, Royal Crown Derby, Shelley, Wedgewood etc) we can have her shelves and display cabinets brimming to full life very quickly. Look how quickly MPK's Spode Christmas plate popped up and he only had to get teary eyed - Mrs G won't have to do anything other than put up with your whingeing about having to put up another set of shelves. My thoughts exactly. As they spend so much time in the kitchen, you would think it was a no brainier to light it up and use it for both warmth and cooking! Too much work me thinks!!!That picture of the kitchen reminds me of the episode when MPK gets the range fired up to work. But SJ never seems to use it. I wonder why not, as it would keep the kitchen and adjacent rooms toastie warm and be great for cooking on.
