Childrens books with Dereks art? Who on earth would subject a child to that pornographic detail... tits and tennis anyone? Please excuse my new avatar, it's not as high spec as @Jules100 but it's in keeping with the colour theme. 💙
Does the Derek Jarvis children’s book come with a complimentary visit from the child protective services of the local police department?

I was just thinking of the chateau-owning Spaniard, Ivo Fornesa. He was in several LaLa vlogs, including more than one tour of his chateau/museum. Steph showcased his novel and said his next one was going to be a murder mystery, I think, set at Lalande. The mystery is what has become of him and the new book?

Actually Jeeves, if you are maybe contemplating taking even more years off your age and, why not?
Would you like me to ask Stephanie Jarvis, sorry, Caroline Gooder, where she goes for her frequent botox injections? Personal recommendation is always the best way forward and we all know that it makes sense! There may even be a discount involved if we mention their names - who knows? ;)
Amaury does everything else at the dump. Maybe he has mastered administering botox to the 50% Discounted Shittelaine in between watering the dying gardens, fixing the falling ceilings, hiding from Ñutty, and doing the paneling.

No one else on this planet has room for a pergola the size of that which has been built at the HMN.
Who the hell really wants to promenade through to a dead end or sit in a common garden potager filled with squawking chickens and peacock poo? 🤮
Someone with a really strong immune system.

It's 9PM where I am and it's Saturday. The VIP lounge is once again the stage for a battle between Gorl-verse and Château-verse.
@BlessingoftheHounds this one is for you.
Category is: Around The World Gorl.

DJ's children's book would definitely be a "pop-up" book.

@Jules 100, having seen your paarfectly tiled tiki hut, I'm just following up on the Key West get-together. I'd need to arrive around 1a.m. and require an extra room for my 'cameraman'. I'd love to bring you a gift - would you prefer squirrel wine or honey?

The time it's taking to construct the ridiculous edifice, you'd think it was Clifton Suspension Bridge and that Dan is a latter day Isambard Kingdom Brunel,

If they are going to grow something like Bougainvillea and/or Wisteria over it, the supports need to be really strong. I would love one but don't have the room.
That's a very good point about needing a strong structure. I totally understand that.
I guess my comment was more about the length and perhaps the depth of the structure itself in relationship to the surroundings. And the style of it - when you consider that other thing she bought at Chelsea, which is a totally different style and I believe will be in the vicinity of this pergola, with an ornate fountain under it, I'm not sure what she is trying to achieve design-wise in that walled garden.

I know there are mixed feelings (most not positive, which I totally understand) about the Strawbridges, but despite how anyone might feel about the people themselves, I love what they've achieved with their walled garden. It's a working garden and is beautiful. It's cohesive, it is decorative, and it is a functioning vegetable and fruit garden.

Summer garden party and a sleepover for Annalise and the boys??? Sure. 👌
Annalise needs to learn, NO is a complete sentence.
Other chateaux friends are arriving for the weekend, Gerry arrives Sunday.
Does this mean Chateau DIY will be filming???

Absolutely love doing her hair, always such a beautiful result 🌿☀ #chateaudelalande #ruralfrance #orotherapy #ghd @stephanieejarvis @chateaudelalande
Good point about Chateau DIY!
I follow Chateau de Bourneau on Instagram and they have some sort of medieval thing going on in their fields this weekend. Erin posted yesterday how busy the week has been and mentioned that ChateauDYI was also filming. You just know that's why Stephanie's having this party.........she's too cheap to do it without being filmed.

I saw on a social media post by Erin at chateau de Bourneau that Chateau DIY are filming there this weekend, so I don't know whether that means they are more or less likely to be at Lalande this weekend too, but they are in France and filming, it seems.
Sorry - didn't meant to step on your toes....I just posted the same thing but hadn't gotten as far as your post yet!

Absolutely! The Strawbedidge's kitchen is both a productive garden and also rather beautiful: real thought has gone into the planning, functionality and aesthetics.

And note the espalier trees either side of the greenhouse. There was a lot of talk about espalier trees along the the kitchen garden wall at Lalande that's going to pergolaised, now apparently to be semi "roofed". Sunny aspect for peaches? I think not.

Just watched this and can see why Amy is finding it hard. Her stain removal method, though it works is so time consuming its ridiculous. And the long walk to the line for hanging, unbelievable. Is she trying to make every task as hard as possible? Just nuts! She didn't even use pegs when she hung the washing???
I'm not suggesting she use a dryer, as she has free sunshine to do that but her set up is silly. My clothesline is about 5metres from my laundry's outside door. The stain treatment for the kids clothes? Just use a spray or sunlight soap. If it still stained after going thru the washing machine (like the sandpit clothes) well they become the play clothes.

I’d just seen this Italian recipe moments before opening tattle.

Thank you! I've saved the recipe in my lemon folder!!

I use everclear!!! I had a friend who didn’t realize it was a sipping drink and they took a big swig and choked, then asked if I was trying to kill them🤪🤪🤪
Here’s a recipe that I use…
Good idea, using Everclear. I'm saving your recipe, too! Thank you!

Honestly, I don’t think those weird Daddy tiles will ever actually get installed. I would be shocked if they did. They’ll be set aside and forgotten. Just a feeling based on what we’ve seen SJ do over and over again.
No they probably won't ever get put anywhere but the intent behind the production of them is threefold. Let me go & see Steve who's besotted with me. Let's shut those Tattlers up that I hired Steve to do some work for me & then dumped him. Let's literally p*ss Mummy off by showing what a smutty past she had & doesn't want to be flaunted in front of her new hubby Percy & his family. It's nowt to do with the tiles ever being put on a wall. As with everything Fanny does there is always a hidden agenda.

I had the same thoughts watching the vlog. I understand wanting to tread lightly on the earth, but one needs to be practical too. She's needlessly making things more difficult for herself. Buy a damn dryer already and save yourself hours of work!

I don’t think Larkin would be excited for the weird fetish Daddy Derek tiles to be installed in the kitchen or anywhere else in the dump. Since Fanny has had the windfall of money, she has managed to inflict her horrible mismatched decorating style all over the dump at breakneck speed. Larkin and Marie must cringe when they walk into the Dump, not knowing what atrocious “decorating” decisions Fanny has made without consulting anyone. She definitely is claiming her territory in the main areas of the Shittoo.

I've been desperate to cheer them on, as their (Marc's) plans to reintroduce a vineyard is wonderful but Amy's incessant whining is extremely irritating. Also, because the major plans for the house and the estate are so enormous and will take years, their vlog content of mundane snippets of daily life doesn't exactly enthral. I honestly think YouTube is not for them.

(And walking six miles to hang out the washing is just bloody stupid!). .

The more I watch Amy, the more I get the impression she comes from a relatively wealthy family and wasn't taught (by role modelling) practical household management skills such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, looking after pets etc. The house always looks like a tip, the dog is overweight, the chickens and rabbits are hit and miss in terms of their accommodation etc. I've known families like this before - one had 4 girls and none of them were practical when it came to household stuff - they 'loved' animals but didn't really look after them properly - ie didn't train the dogs, let the kids rabbits teeth grow too long so they couldn't eat properly, put the elderly pony in a steep paddock and she then fell down and died etc.
