Shouldn’t they be busy spring cleaning the place room by room, though? It is the perfect time for it, deal with it when you can’t go anywhere, get it over with, and then enjoy traveling when restrictions are lifted. Clearly no one wants to lift a finger.

Showing a bit more gratefulness for having such a roof above their heads during these times wouldn’t hurt.
indeed I thought one of SJ vlogs said a huge chateau declutter starting with her clothes heard nothing else since ?

Jeeves Post 3728077 My dear old Dad used to point out signage which showed "Licenced Premises" and drummed into me " Licence is a noun and a noun is a "thing" like your Driver's Licence" and "Practise is a doing word a verb and the "thing you do like running a Licensed Premises" - Unfortunately we're swimming upstream against the current of 300 mill Americans who don't care, remove the "u" from all words spelled with and"iour" , and still in many parts pronounce a single syllable word like vehicle (Veercle) as a 3 syllable word Veer hick all. Dad always said that you would have thought the first criteria for being a signwriter is to know how to spell and whenever we saw one when out driving we would laugh and say to each other "Buy a Webster's" - doesn't matter now with computers but spellcheck drives me crazy. Appropriate to think of this today - would have been his 105th birthday. HB Dad.

Typo in first line was genuine typo not G&T's. - Also the Poe/Dickens post I referred to starts with "I always think of her as Miss Haversham...." FrannyBee
FrannyBee... I think I've seen some comments way back about vehicle and the amount of syllables. I honestly don't know where you get that the word Vehicle is a one syllable word - I can't even try to say the word Vehicle in a one syllable way. Vehicle has three syllables - even in the Oxford dictionary description it breaks it down in sound to 3 syllables. Unless I am completely mis-understanding you, something I do a lot on on a lot of posts which can be quite cryptic.

If you read the whole thread first you will never go back and quote... this happens all the time, I quote as I go along and find as I scroll down someone has said the exact same thing... keep on quoting...
I usually do but I didn’t sleep well last night so wasn’t paying enough attention 🙁

You call that quick? She's been at it for a while now and still doesn't know anything about decency. The Trotterclan was more her tribe and I'm sure she's sad to have to leave them behind. Her 'sparks' with MPK landed her a lot of bling bling.
She shares the same social background with the Trotters, she and MPK are the ones with aspirations to climb the social ladder. Like most of their fans. We'll see how it goes with The Fleuries and if it creates dissonance with her fan base.

thank you, everyone, for your kind words and prayers 😘 , I will let his family know
to be completelly honest with you all, I started to believe that all is going to be fine and the most affected are 65+, but the vaccine is here,
the most Fuc*d up part of all of this is that they started to vaccinate the medical staff (my best friend she received hers like a week ago) and somehow he didn't yet... I really am lost for words, what a crazy world we live in, and that is also why I somehow couldn't bring myself to listen to miss chatO talking about being tested for 5 minutes straight when I was having primetime updates on the airlifting, proper catheter, volume of the oxygen (trust me not being dramatic and I am not telling you all the details but when your best friend starts to cry that she doesn't' want him to die, it is not fun and games anymore, ..... dear friends stay safe, take it seriously

the problem with SJ and alike might not even be that she will give it to someone herself, but that she propels this illusion that when you have a wonky mask and wash your hands you can go to have dinners 6 hours from your home.... 🤬 and there will be people who will think that it is ok bc they see these influencers doing it and then someone else's friend will operate on one of these people but there will be no ventilator available because they will be all taken

The "h" in the UK pronounciation of vehicle tends to be silent, so " veer -kuhl". (2 syllables) . Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more "Americanisms" creeping into the English language through US TV imports - the use of "candy" instead of "sweets", "cookies" instead of "biscuits", "trash" instead of "rubbish" and so on.
Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread.

The title is the correct US spelling.
I think Jeeves meant in "British English", rather than in "English". As someone explained, in British English, there are many words, such as advice and advise where the "c" spelling is the noun and the "s" is a verb. There are several other UK/US spelling differences, e.g. "specialise","advertise", etc., in the UK and "specialize", etc., in the US. Neither style is "better" than the other although we British can get a bit too pedantic sometimes! In most contexts these days, both styles are accepted and generally people understand why someone is writing in a particular way. It's only really important in an academic essay or very formal document but even then, either style is usually accepted as long as it's consistent all the way through. We have to remember that languages change with time and there are now more "offshore English" users than there are British ones and Tattle is an international forum (I have to admit that I am a normally an over-critical Brit., but I am trying to be more flexible!).

I understand the video addiction and all, but at what cost? It would be great to see more superfans bringing this issue to her attention. There have been a few comments peppered in the comment sections, but not enough to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, this mess is far from over.

Wishing your friend a speedy recovery ~

In English, Practice is a noun (as in a legal or clinical practice) and practise is the verb (as in practise piano or practise to deceive.)

The trouble is , when the US borrowed our language, they forgot to borrow the correct spelling and grammar rules too! ;)
We had to make it our own as befits our "ugly Amurican" moniker. I shall practice in my coloring book today.

On the surface, a visit to LA Fleur seems like LOTL is helping them navigate new territory. She is cunning showing the negative aspects in her video. It's easy to correct the echo and other sound issues. But why should she when they make La Fleur look less welcoming than Chatea lalalande.

Is Marie stuck in France? I read something that made it sound like France wasn't permitting travel. Plus, if the trip was Marie's project, LOTL godzilla'd her bony a$$ to the front

Nana, I am sur
So, the whole idea of the trip to Le Fleur was a collaboration of the owners with FloralRoadKill, right? She must have been disappointed with the outcome, because in the latest entry of her website, dating after the visit, she writes "I must be honest and say that I don´t have much to share. I haven´t been in a healthy mental space latley". In one of her replies to someone commenting, she adds: " I think I´ve just felt a little bit tired of working a lot (well, non-stop since March), and not seeing much progress. Well, there is progress, but not as much as I hoped for. However, I know I´ll get there one day."

So what did she hope for? More money? Fame from her deceiving floral arrangements?

Nanana, I am sure she didn't work 7 days a week since March.

I'm sure they mentioned at one point that some of the girls, (Cat, Nati and Marie) went off for a break, leaving SJ and I think possibly Hanni behind.

I've just spent a few ridiculous minutes saying vehicle out loud (thankfully, I live on my own so there's nobody to question my sanity!) and my pronounciation sounds like 2 syllables: veer-kel. Which adds nothing to anything but just thought I'd mention it!

Talking about golden touches, La Fleur has more subscribers than any of the spin off vlogs, they surpassed The Pethericks last week
Am delighted 😀 for them it’s refreshing to see you CAN heat A chat ooo -

She seems sure it’s Ryan mc faden. Does anyone recall their falling out? Rcg was vile on here so I can just imagine the abuse she must have got from him.
Allegedly it’s Ryan - and If DB was aware he was here on Tattle as RCG - it’s not a far reach to think she let her best friend SSB know of the drama and the pethericks

My gripe with them all - chatooo Lunatics is that EVERY subscriber HERE was tared with the same tit brush -
when in truth
WE had nothing to do with the ingorance that was heaped in them -

THE Three amigos fell out with that moderator
SSB having DB as her enforcer
chose to let it escalate

Then cry 😢 ppl are mean
They provoked a savage amount of bile from the elusive RYAN
He got duck all traction here - ppl defended SSB against the rants .....

It brings a whole new meaning to
“ Being 2 faced “ - SSB
And
The hand that rocks the cradle

End result ... SSB shafted DB
By not addressing Ryan’s trolling

Then threw the Diesel over the whole LiE
by inciting Sir Trotter

Either way Machiavelli has Nothing on her

Try car instead if you want a one syllable word.

I think the US put a 3rd syllable? UK is 2?

I've been doing the same and now hubby is walking around saying it too. I've had to stop him phoning our daughter to ask her how she pronounces it. Lockdown is finally getting to me! 🤪

I found the list I wrote in March when we had the first lockdown. Strangely enough I haven't yet learnt conversational Spanish, painted the kitchen, bought a yoga mat (thereby failing to do the yoga), finished the family tree, nor used the wine making kit I bought..ennui set in unfortunately. Probably the same there I guess. No motivation if they're not going to be featured in the new ETTCDIY series perhaps.
