Caro to the rescue !

Stephanie, one way to ‘deal’ with all gifts that many kind, generous people send over is simply to put a stop to it and encouraging funds be sent directly to charities desperately in need. It has become offensive and obscene the amount of items being unwrapped You clearly don’t need to further clutter Lalande or buy more wardrobes to fill. Honestly!

🤔I'm sorry you find these videos so disturbing. I strongly urge you to move on🤸. Seems plenty of other videos out there for you to 👀watch without resorting to 👉 shaming good folks. No one is holding you captive here😳. Did you know that giving gifts 🎁 is an actual love language!? Seems mean to make those particular ppl stop 🛑. They're simply sending items to the ⚜Chateau in deepest appreciation of the delight Stephanie & her crew bring us all. 😉Sharing in these happy moments is like hanging out with good friends. 😖Besides, it doesn't mean that ppl don't contribute to charity on their own, but doing that alone may not be as satisfying as lavishing 💕love upon someone you like & admire. Or, seeing & experiencing their 😊joy when they open these 🎀gifts. 🛃 Your acting the arbiter of manners & chief of the minimalist brigade serves no one, but yourself. 🙏Plz let it go. 💚 Bridget from Cali☘ (using my pal's YT acct)

In the description they ask people to not send gifts if they can't afford it and show all the money that go to their charities. Most of us send money directly to charities now so don't need your scolding.

Opening the gifts is fun, often things that are handy to have. I wonder if it is time to donate the gifts to charity too? There have been an enormous number of gifts received, and surely - too many for the chateau by now. Of course, some are sent to a specific person, so those go to that person. But the rest - surely ... ? Of course, some gifts are very special to the sender and they want that gift to go to the chateau. It might be difficult to sort them tactfully

Family, Friends and guests (often who become friends) also get some of the bath products, etc. Remember there are often 20 people at the Chateau at a time in season. Per the Vlogs, Food and candy they don't use is donated.🤣❤🌺🌹🥂
I will never understand the people who defend the gift grab as though these people whose "love language is giving gifts" would shrivel up if they were asked not to spend ridiculous amounts of money to mail tacky junk to their favorite youtuber. (I once spent $37 to send a box of poptarts to a friend who'd moved to Australia and was missing her favorite flavor, so I can only imagine how many hundreds it must cost to send these heavy boxes of dishes etc to France)

My love language is physical touch but I don't suffer from not being able to give celebrities/youtubers i like a hug.

I assume some of the defensiveness comes from people being very well aware of how disgusting the whole gift giving farce is, but not wanting to admit they've contributed to it. If they'd stop getting upset about it and take the out these people are handing them - "Yes, Stephanie we loooove you but since your darling channel has grown so much it's just not a good idea to do this anymore!!" - they'd all be better off, and the walls of the poor not!chateau would be that much less likely to burst.

Isabelle's father was an officer in the French Colonial army before and after WWII.

Isabelle and her siblings grew up in the French colonies mainly in Madagascar. Both Steph and Isabelle told this story in the early CD vlogs. Recently, Steph mentionned that Isabelle and her siblings grew up in Madagascar (a French colony until 1960).

Isabelle's brother's page on Copains d'Avant (sort of French Facebook for school mates), it is mentioned that he went to high school (Lycée) in Madagascar in around 1956 (from memory).

I've never heard of a poor Colonial Army officer living in the colonies at that time (servants, privileges, etc etc). Maybe not ultra rich but not poor (and certainly living a privileged life).

PS : Their name is Biggio.
well i hate to say this...i dont want to make fun of anybodies surname..but big in Dutch means young pig.... ;)

so Caroline Gooder uses the word "candy" does that suggest she is not from or in, Europe or the UK ? I thought "candy"was a N.American and or Canadian description of sweets/chocs ? Maybe NZ or Aussie, I dont know. ? If this info is in Wiki dont even tell me, I tried to access Wiki and had no luck. Im just tooo ancient.
I once saw her say she's from North Carolina, I think that was it, some place in that area of the USA.

For the art aficionados out there does it not seem an excessive amount of Original artwork of so few artists that is in Jason Dubey’s possession. Wouldn’t there be a broader mix. I realize he has a gallery but seems a tad stinky.
I enjoyed that video of the costumes in Venice but had to stop watching as I became so nauseous from the guy moving the camera around.
I guess one has to be somewhat of an exhibitionist to want to be in the square like Steph & co. I wonder if they were passing Steve’s hat around.

To give the poor guy some slack, he put the coat on just for the photo...

And yes, Dana has been hanging out with Nutty for too long and has adopted her ways (insert claw emoji)

Still no word on what SA charity received December's donation. (If any or was it spent at Ardmore???) I have posted the gift grab vlog that caught Nutti off guard and SJ explaining she would be taking December's donation with her to SA. Whilst lying, SJ tucks her hair behind her ears 11 times. Nutti's body language and eyes are very telling. THEY ARE ALL IN ON THE LIES.
If she chooses to give the charity donation to Ardmore, even if the owner does give the artists a reasonable salary (if!), it is not a charity and is very far removed from the charities trying to provide aid to the very many in desperate need in SA. I don't suppose she would go anywhere near the real charitable organisations.

Who’s that draped all over him?

🧵 Stephanie Jarvis of The Chateau Diaries YouTube, Chateau de LaLande, and Chateau Unwrapped.
Stephanie Jarvis of Chateau de LaLande surely will be kicking the can down the road when it comes to revealing her financials on The Chateau Diaries- she is scrambling and panicking right about now

@KiKiGee What are we to make of Jason Dubey? He mentions one of his ‘original Dali’ paintings which thankfully is not the reason he has to hurry to the gallery, saying “at least it’s not the floating Christ“. Well, as far as I am aware, this painting - Christ of Saint John of The Cross, hangs in Glasgow Art Gallery and has done so for many years. Original Dalis Miros goodness knows what else. This man must be a multi millionaire.
I love John Sinclair’s quip, “ Clocks melting again @Jason dubey?
Jason again: Jason Dubey @Brenda M whew, that was a close one. It wasn't a burning Giraffe at all??! It was actually a Unicorn's laser penetrating the horn of a cosmic Rhinoceros, Thank God!

Id love to know what he‘s on 😮.
I don't believe one word he says.

I wonder if La Jarvis has heard the news that Murano glass makers in large numbers are having to close their doors due the price of gas. Lookout she may be doing some panic buying.

for many years the world has been awash with millions of lithos, engravings and authorized prints by artists like Dali, Miro and Picasso. Their estates or the legal entities that control their brands keep issuing more of these. Their have been legal battles over the true value of these reproductions made years after the artist has died. Jason's business is selling these cheap knock-offs. There was a gallery at Fisherman's Wharf in SF that sold these and limited editions of Peter Max. As a living artist he was able to sign reproductions like this, even though he was very ill. Dealers in Dali prints managed to get a hold of old paper that he had supposedly signed years ago.

Have a look at the trousers Dan is wearing, they look like velvet, certainly not the denim jeans he normally has, so it looks like Dan was all dressy up as well for Stephanie Jarvis of Chateau Lalande
I think he’s wearing his nice jeans…

He's to OTT to believe!

He needs some sort of medication, something is very very off with him.
Even if he does run some sort of gallery, at best, he'll just be selling prints; he talks about "original prints" which would be ones made by the artists themselves and we can be quite sure that they did not make them. He mentions the names of paintings and it's highly doubtful anyway that someone like Dali made prints of his paintings. Even if he did, or signed some himself, they would not be in the quantities that JD mentions, They will be mass-produced prints someone has made recently from another print. Also, no professional, educated art dealer or specialist would talk about art in the way he does. He's another delusional fake, very like most other LL worshippers.
