Hi FrannyBee, Angel & Dick's chateau is close to the Trotters. Michael was definitely hired to do artistic work on golf cart and to paint the inner tower which has pictures of the Strawbridge family. It took him 12 months. They are very careful not to show the tower paintings in any of the 7 seasons as it is so contenious. Michael also did a sketch or contributed to a sketch Angel made into wallpaper to sell. Michael has received no public or private copywrite credits. He commented about this on youtube comments. I think Michael was acting as staff for filming. I suspect that the bad blood between Michael and Angel contributed to Trotters being dumped from ETTCDIY.

I've gone through SJ's Instagram - to see her vacation pictures, which are stunning -
I noticed how little she was at her Shat-oo at the beginning (of her Instagram), every other picture is from a different place! Only time when she was at the Shat-oo was for the holiday and the parties.

Also the timeline of her paramours is really confusing... Has anybody figured it out?
- Edmond Fokker (who still likes her pictures on Instagram)
- Husband, whom she divorced
- Elusive Nic
- MP
- Ludwig the crazy Norwegean
- Mason

Did I forget any?

They were. It was around the time she was filmed for ETTCDIY for the first season. My friends were interviewed for that too and were in a lot of the original footage but were left out on their own request as much as possible.

There's others, if only I would remember correctly. After Ludwig came a SA guy from London, really tall, I think his name was James. Again a tech specialist with an overload of money, obviously. Rumour had it they broke up because of his extended appetite in bed, as well as him being 'too big'.

That's what I thought... Never heard of taking just another kid with me when you move when parents are still alive. Maybe Gerry doesn't know himself though

Rory Post 3575614. Sounds about right - he seems to me to be a bit of a lost soul. Quite knowledgeable in his own way and I suspect he soaks up any knowledge as it comes his way and which he can use for his interests, but without any formal education, so good on him. SJ and her kind can swan on about their Uni degrees (easy when Daddy paid for her education) but 1 pissy degree from Oxford sounds good, but not much of an achievement especially when she's done nothing with it. It's a pity Michael didn't get credit 'cos some of his contributions are well done. I saw the episode of ETTC where the lift was installed and all the decoration of the tower was filmed close up and Angel was touching up and finalising the paintings and she mentioned the "greenery" - looked to me like monstera leaves, was projected onto the walls to create a template to merely infill - she was touching up the edges as they were already 95% completed. The only credit she gave was that a couple of artist friends had helped - so that must have stung for him. I don't know who did the caricatures of Dick, Angel and Arthur, but they were awful. Most of these chateau owners have egos the size of Mt Everest - that's why I can't watch much of them. I have seen a couple of DIO (probably ep 1,2 and 3) but won't be bothering if the parents are as bad as they say.

I believe it's an open secret and the backstory has been invented for Isabelle's sake. He resembles his father (eyes and forehead) just like Steph does. Thanks @66carola for pointing out the obvious.

Isn't there distinction between staying sexy and using sex to achieve something? Not a crime but unconscionable. It sounds a bit iffy to me, given her history with volunteers!

With a bent accountant, there are many ways around it, but not without being creative with the truth, charities are closely controlled for this very reason. Of course any idiot can evade tax, the issue is if she is caught - and opting for charity status puts them on the radar.

A hefty fine, the tax bill multiple times over, plus interest, and often a prison sentence. That is the price of being caught. Now, do you think SSB is shrewd enough to know her way around tax law when she barely knows basic common law?

And sir Trotter is no fool he’s not breaching it
D&A no fools either - everyone signs one

Sean’s wife worked for the strawbridges as well !!!!

I don’t doubt that he enhanced her work
But to be fair - D&A were way ahead on merchandise as that point - sir trotter wasent even hanging out with SSB at that point - he was a make up artist for the wedding s initially- pethericks season No 2 haven’t even been out on tv at that stage

Yes the friends designed it and he painted it. Not sure if they drew the outlines on the walls. He mentions it in a vlog with SJ. I just think is stimulated by being creative, with guidance - hence him reproducing Beatrix Potter images. He did one painting in a vlog of the Chateau in watercolours, I think. It was quite good.
