I found that quite interesting actually. I'm curious, why did she not continue with this type of activities? She seemed to be integrating herself in the French-speaking art community of her region then, even her French was better. Did she fall out with these people?

Silly turned into a child in the frozen food section upon noticing the chips and pizza, obviously keen for a treat after being fed by the cave-dwelling hobbit for the past month.

Tats didn’t seem very keen on the chips, noting that she sometimes didn’t like to spend the time to make them. 30mins in the oven dear. Once you’ve cleaned out the cobwebs I guess.
Odd to hear her the offer to make presumably vegan Mayo though.

Once upon a Time, there was a lonely Chatelaine who lived in her Chateau in the middle of nowhere.
She would spend her days with her Mother and her erstwhile suitors. Living, laughing and loving around the world.
One day, she woke up realising that her special friends were no longer able to fund her lifestyle.
What was a girl to do? What talents did she have? ( other than ones we can only guess at) Used to living the high life and being adored, she had a small part on a renovation show and that's when an idea sparked in her mind.

And so the Chateau Diaries started and people were hooked. It was after all a time of great turbulence in the world. Money rolled in and ...

Initially after getting to grips with her phone traction on YouTube wasent great - her friends were getting antsy about the constant blogging . Then reading hello she saw there was to be a new show on TV on a little known channel in the UK . British owners of chateau s and surving in France .

She applied straight away - She was an parrrfect candidate.
Ditzy enough to appear funny and was blessed with the ability to waffle bullshit ….. after 40 was still alone - this could be her ticket to tinder

With the right amount of PR - she might be considered a catch !!

Genuine question from someone not born in snowy lands or large buildings - why not zone the farmhouse eg 3 zones and have different heating and water arrangements for each? So the old part/bnb could be done separately to the turret area/front door/SJ area vs the kitchen servant bedrooms?

I've heard it mentioned that Steve wanted to be payed for the logo design and branding he did, which obviously cause a fit with SJ who refused, insisting he did this "work" during his time as a volunteer. They couldn't settle the argument amicably, so came up with the solution to not be her patrons anymore. Makes sense, because why would they support her when she's not willing to pay them for services rendered? SJ then decided not to use the logo anymore, to prevent further claims.

Not so amicable that they remained her patrons or she still can use the logo and other branding he designed. Smoke and mirrors, I'd say. They can't afford to be in a big fight with the queen of chateau-grifting, so will pretend nothing happened, but facts never lie and we are clever enough to connect the dots.

In my previous incarnation, we caught him using other peoples' interior decoration photographs on his website for the €2500 history bound cosplay chateau workshop scam. Excellent catch, thank you.

This illness is one of the weirdest I have ever had! I get so weak at times I can’t even get off the bed… it’s really scary tbh.. the good thing is I always have a “this too shall pass” attitude towards problems in life… It also helps that I’m binge watching Schitt’s creek again

I'm a textile designer and stylist for a 'sustainable' sports gear brand made in Belgium. Used to working with graphic designers, photographers, set designers, artistic directors etc... I just had a look at Stephen portfolio and I really don't like it. I don't understand how he can have so many "clients" supposedly. Certainly through his contacts, but I suspect they're all volunteer work just like the Lalande "logo". The fonts he uses are horrible. His work is so dated, just like his website lol.
Doubt he's got a prolific CV with real experiences in graphic design agencies. He needs to get up to date with right uses of colors, fonts and layout.

I remember he was originally volunteering for the GAG channel editing. If this was the agreement then I would completely agree with him to expect payment for the logo. SJ seems to be the master of adding additional tasks to original agreements without adjustment in compensation.
