Newbie here but been lurking awhile... So I too was sucked in to the Love, Life and Laughter showcased so dazzlingly (is that even a word?!?) by SJ and her fans (workaways/volunteers/paid for "friends") at HMN during lock-down. Shamefully I was also a lower tier patron for 6 months.
I recently commented on one of SJs patron videos about her lack of spending on fixing or installing new heating and got slapped down immediately by another patron, which set the alarm bells ringing for me. There are some truly nasty grannies there.
The last straw, was when I finally received my much promised patron postcard in December 2021 from SJ (...sorry Nutty) which was addressed to "LORD <insert name here>" and I AM A LADY!!! I cancelled my patronage in Dec 2021 and then stumbled across your insightful and hilarious TCD threads. I've read through the WIKI info and I am so glad to have found you all!

Clara’s description of how SJ leaves the Shittoo and her boudoir when she closes the doors and jets off reminds me of the students at Uni. I'm a textile designer and stylist for a 'sustainable' sports gear brand made in Belgium. Used to working with graphic designers, photographers, set designers, artistic directors etc... I just had a look at Stephen portfolio and I really don't like it. I don't understand how he can have so many "clients" supposedly. Certainly through his contacts, but I suspect they're all volunteer work just like the Lalande "logo". The fonts he uses are horrible. His work is so dated, just like his website lol.
Doubt he's got a prolific CV with real experiences in graphic design agencies. He needs to get up to date with right uses of colors, fonts and layout.

Steve's Linkedin profile shows he worked for 6 companies from 1998 - 2015. Most of those large brands were likely clients of his employers and he worked on their accounts. Since setting up 'Decadigitus' in 2015 it seems much of his work is for smaller community clients in the town/region where he lived and for the past year he's been with Raining Communications on a part-time contract.

I remember @Clara Burnett told us that Steph is not known for paying her workers / tradesmen in time. I suppose they know that they will have to come back to her to get their money.

Something any workers / tradesmen hate (understandably) and remember (of course)... French or not French.

Her reputation must be well known in the area by now.

I agree totally with this statement, long, long before the internet arrived on the scene, tradesmen had a brilliant system of communicating with each other. If a client was difficult , too demanding or worse still was slow to pay, or didn't pay that information spread through their grapevine and as a result your work would not be done.
