Another vote for Frankenstein. Great themed bar, very atmospheric. The Alchemist or The Cauldron for cocktails/masterclasses too. Bar Soba is nice if you like Korean street food.Sorry I completely forgot to reply re Edinburgh recommendations!
Brewhemia is good and a great location, just next to Waverley Station. They have acts/shows on quite regularly too.
I haven’t been personally, but have heard great things about the Frankenstein Bar. Gothic vibes and in an old cathedral I believe. Very spooky/autumnal I imagine!
Black Ivy if you’re looking for something a bit more fancy but still affordable. Same for Tigerlily and Copper Blossom.
Bonnie & Wild in St James Quarter is like an indoor market type venue. Quite a few different food choices and a decent selection of cocktails. Great choice if you’re with someone or a group who all want something different.
Cold Town House. Great rooftop bar (although small) overlooking the castle. They have 2 other floors as well and outdoor space but it’s always jam packed so booking in advance is a must. Great pub style food (think loaded fries).
There’s honestly loads of places to choose from. These are the first few that spring to mind but will mention more as I remember![]()
@xbxbx has basically covered all bases. It’s a great city to visit especially this time of year (and I say that as a proud Weegie)
