I love my uggs. I brought the shorter ones last year that kinda sit at your ankle…. Love them! Can’t wait to get back to wearing them!
Wear whatever makes you happy!
I’m thinking of getting these this year as I’ll be pregnant ao no chance of my feet fittingly dr martens. Are they easy to keep clean? I do a lot of walking in parks and muddy cycle tracks.

Apple crumble and pumpkin pie sound divine! Does anyone have a nice pumpkin pie recipe? I've never made it before, but have always wanted to try make one. I've started to watch my autumnal TV shows and movies - I'm excited to bring out my decorative pumpkins and pine cones soon!
This is decent! https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/the-great-pumpkin-pie-recipe/ I'm sure it's better if you make your own pie crust (she has a recipe), but I just buy it pre-made. This year I will have a go at making it from scratch as we now have a tabletop dishwasher! I don't do the cranberries ^_^ You can buy pumpkin puree most autumns in various shops, but I've found it all year round in Waitrose. It comes in a tin. If you want to make it from a pumpkin, you can use the blue ones, but honestly it turns out better from a tin haha, and way less messy too

Thank you, that’s what I usually do anyway. Are they quite roomy? Sorry for the questions, I’m just trying to work out what size I’ll need. My feet grew half a size last pregnancy 🤣

Be careful with Uggs, they don't have much/any ankle support and you'll need that if you're pregnant, especially if you're gonna walk on icy or muddy ground. If you get them, get the proper authentic ones and not any cheap copies. My sis-in-law learned this all the hard way! I've got some lovely flat leather Ariat boots, I got them a size bigger than usual so that I can fit an extra pair of warm socks in if I want.

Can i just ask are Uggs still a thing nowadays or are they a bit 2010?! I had a nostalgia moment of Autumn in Uggs! They were so comfy and easy to throw on with leggings and a long thick cardi
They have had a bit of a revival! A lot of the influencers are wearing them now, the short ones in particular. Certain colours (the beige shades) were constantly sold out last autumn/winter. I agree, so bloody comfy. I love them

Thank you! I invested last year in dr martens as I need good support so that’s good to know. Off to research Artiat boots!

Mine are a 7.5 and im nornally a 8 in proper shoes…. So I’d say good for sizing. And I like to stick a thick pair of socks on with them sometimes!

Anyone else thinking about vitamin D supplements going into Autumn and Winter?

Here's a link to the site I use for buying vitamin d3. I take 5000IU everyday, so just a single capsule. Affordable for pretty much a year's worth.

Simply Be has 20% off on the App and they sell them so they might accidentally be on their way, next day delivery 😎😂

Currently on my mini moon, in a cabin on the Scottish Borders, literally in the middle of no where and I cannot bloody wait for autumn! Wood burning bath tub out on the deck, log burner inside, surrounded by trees and fields! Hoping to waken in the morning and it’s foggy and crisp!! 🍁🍂

By the fireplace is my ultimate favourite scent for a perfume! I wear it all wear round and always get asked what I’m wearing! Autumn vibes I got last year and I was a bit disappointed, don’t really know what I was expecting to be honest though 😂
Maiden Margiela ‘By the Fireplace’, ‘Jazz Club and ‘Autumn Vibes’ are divine and you can get candles in some of the scents too!

Oh I've got that quite good for trying out the scents.

I just bought a chunky, mid- shin (maxi?) length black cardigan from Tesco, to wear at work when it starts to get colder. It will look great over long dresses or over a blouse and black jeans. It feels really swishy and grungy and it reminds me of when long cardigans where in fashion a few years ago. Will definitely wear boots with it. I bought it impulsively because typically you see something you like but leave it, and next week your size is sold out.

When you’ve left please may you link it? Sounds right up my street!

If you’re interested in some but not the others there’s an even cheaper way to try these perfumes.

I was looking at that cardie in Tesco, too . It's on the Next website as well . I think it's acrylic and I'm trying to buy fewer synthetic materials, although I am tempted to try it on
