I change my wardrobe over in spring and autumn and I always look forward to it. I love seeing my autumn winter clothes again!
I also ruthlessly cull unworn or worn out summer clothes. The autumn winter stuff also gets looked at carefully to see if I really still love it.
I bought a pair of Barbour Chelsea boots in a sale and can’t wait to wear them.

I want to make frothy hot chocolate this Autumn/ Winter, to feel like I’m having a luxurious existence amongst all the doom and gloom, however I can’t really afford a Velvetiser, really. I’ve never frothed a hot drink before, will something like this do the trick or is it a pointless gadget?

Anyone bought any new knitwear yet? I’m itching to buy haven’t seen anything I like. I can’t wear wool because it makes me itchy.

Two uses of the word itch!

The good thing is, I don't mind the cold weather. But then I live with my cousin and he dislikes it cold, so 🥴😬 this winter will be interesting lol

I’ve bought a cardigan from shein as I was getting some other bits. I’ve not used the site before so I’ll be interested to see the quality and sizing accuracy. ASOS always have lovely own brand jumpers that aren’t wool.

Thanks- I got a cardigan from Shein a few months ago. Quality was fine but it was massive so had to go back.

Just noticed that Next has a whole Autumn Shop! It’s one of the tabs on the homepage. Encompasses homecare, jumpers, Halloween and even Christmas if you find yourself that way inclined!

Bought a gorgeous cardi from Vinted, still got its tags on, price new £65 but I got it for £3! So pleased... it's wool, tho, I can't bear acrylic or polyester knitwear. I love merino wool or geelong wool, so so soft and not at all scratchy like 'standard' lambswool can be. I don't think I'll buy anything else new cos I love all my existing jumpers and I have a lot of jumpers... I did also order a coat and a tweed-type blazer as well, all still with tags on, I'm a bit addicted to Vinted... can't wait to wear tights, corduroy skirt and a jumper with my boots!

The combination of it being 30 degrees here and it being dark at 9pm really confuses me. Can't wait for the weather to be colder again

I hate this inbetween stage - late August/early September.
It's like the weather hasn't made it's mind up
