Can you imagine the stress these poor Dr's and Nurses are going through, the impact on their own mental health for basically having to care each day of a deceased child and the having to deal with being vilified constantly.
On a much lesser scale, I've had to nurse in the presence of critical, hostile relatives before and it was one of the reasons I left nursing. You're treading on eggshells as a given, but it's the other nasty stuff they do - pitting staff against one another, recording everything, refusing to leave the room even when we're doing invasive and intimate things to people, telling lies, trying to trap you, planting stuff like dirty syringes and suction tubing around the room and in draws. I could go on.

The poor staff will be tormented unfortunately.

I could rant on this all day, it utterly infuriates me. It's so horrible that this has happened and he's in this state, and of course had I been nursing him, the family would be treated with as much respect as I could muster, however it's so totally and utterly wrong to do this to his body and she's had as much access to the scan results as anyone so I don't understand why she continues to allow this. It's gone past a mother's desperate attempt to not let go, it's completely gruesome now, he's not Frankenstein's monster.

I’ve seen this on the “Army” Facebook page.

This woman is spot on… She must have insider info!

Here’s how I imagine said Dr’s day panning out:
Dr Smith is a specialist in multiple areas, because to have multiple children on his “list” that would be saved by 1 child’s organs he would need to be. So he’s the pancreas Dr, liver Dr, heart Dr, lung Dr (etc). He’s also, thankfully, the admitting Peadiatric ICU Dr! So when the poor brain injured child is admitted, he is first to see them and get a good look. “Woohoo, these organs are mine!”.

He assembles his clan of children with failing organs, as thankfully he also works in the Organ Donation team! He’s the requester, specialist Nurse, surgeon (normally you’d have a specialist surgeon per organ but this Dr does them all), organiser, and so on. No time to match blood and tissue type though, these kids need organs, he’ll pop them in and deal with mismatches and rejection later!

Back to the poor child in ICU. Dr Smith is cunningly coordinating their downfall too, explaining to the family that nothing can be done, and how great it would be if they would donate their organs to these mysterious children that are all lined up outside the room.

Hopefully Dr Smith can get all this achieved before his shift at the hospital Costa Coffee, because he works there too. Busy man.

Very interesting that this Dr. seems to have patiënts with failing organs and he has 1 patient for every organ a person might have. How dumb are these people?

It scares and saddens me that these people walk amongst us. And that there's so many of them.

I'm so glad to have found this place quite recently (searchig for MAFS Australia)..I've been going slightly mad and shouting weird things at the screen and the TV over this case.

The starvation thing has driven me crazy. How do they know he's not absorbing? Well darling Hollie I suspect he's being titrated hourly, including metabolically, along with the fact he shits and wees more than they can get in to his wasted body. I was reduced to shouting 'fucked base excess you utter penis' at the telly.

Also the sodium/potassium updates which have been going on since the early days were screaming organ failure (if his heart's not fucked from potassium swings then I'm a monkey's aunty)

So, yeah, from a former ICU nurse, hello, good to talk and I really hope this ends soon, it breaks my heart knowing exactly what's going on in a general way in terms of what they're putting his corpse through
It’s so frustrating isn’t it!! I don’t know why I did a masters in ICU Nursing when I could have logged into Facebook and learnt everything I needed to know from Hollie and her army.

Imagine the worst family you’ve ever dealt with… I don’t even think these guys would come close! The constant judging, questioning, confronting, arguing, disagreeing. Bet that unit would rather be back in the midst of the worst bit of the pandemic, the poor souls.

It worries me that there is a stratum of people in society who believe this and behave like this.

Believing unscientific things (so could be persuaded that other races/groups are inferior and should be eliminated), prone to banding together for a cause (idolising certain figures who might have nefarious ideals)…

We’ve seen this before, throughout history. It never ends well.

I can cope with ignorant, stupid and poorly educated people, but it's the arrogance that gets me. Interfering in highly complex situations that involve difficult ethical and moral issues - that's just not on. I've seen how much suffering they can cause to patients by insisting on inappropriate treatment and interventions. Doctors often just go along with it to save the angst and avoid threats of litigation or being beaten up.

Honestly, never work with the public.

According to Hollie, the doctor is also a gynaecologist who worked at Alder Hey when Alfie Evans was there. Truly a polymath.

I imagine most of her army had kids young, lived on the same streets their whole lives, never leaving their hometown and live for Facebook. We all know the types.,

Hollie also said this doctor was a founder of the Royal London hospital.

Which was founded in 1740.

They must be knackered!

I’m sorry, but there is excuse for it.
its just wilful ignorance.

I was going to say about leeches … but then thought it might be giving them ideas.

I keep seeing her talk about a gynaecologist, what on earth is she talking about?
I thought that was in regards to Southend but I have a feeling the admitting doctor could have been gynae, if it was at and they were most senior and they were at the active cardiac arrest, or if they signed papers on transfer. I'm sure the gynaecologist, founder of the hospital and organ stealing despot has had little to no input in Archie's care

It's very strange, I think they've always existed but the internet and social media has allowed them to clump together and gain traction. Lately opinion seems more important than fact and now we're literally in make believe land with Archie where expert opinion is rubbished by someone you wouldn't trust to grow a potato and the judiciary are scrabbling not to be the ones hauled over the coals. I suspect doctors are doing their usual, wholesome good intentions or mumbling to their boots.

I can’t think of any scenario in which a gynaecologist would get involved in the emergency admission of a 12 year old boy. It would be ED, paeds, anaesthetics/ICU. That’s it really.
