It actually bothers me that now and only now she has started talking about Archie’s dignity And pretending she cares about that. She didn’t care for his dignity when she showed the world him in a nappy on a ventilator.
Whole family are just as classy as the mother I see
Sorry if it’s coming across that way because that isn’t my intention. Your previous comments didn’t read like somebody who was fully aware of Archie’s condition. We’ve had many new commentators join who have only seen the “coma” headlines and they’ve been completely unaware of the true extent of his injuries.Don’t shoot the messenger, have a word with the doctors who published the case and I am fully aware of all medical serials of Archie’s case as I was A&e coordinator of kings London one of the major trauma centres and now ward manager of an iccu department
Having savings affects the amount of benefits a person gets. My neighbour was awarded 25k last year as compensation from an accident. She lost her ESA as she had over the 16k limit on savings. No as it's not her money and it's not in her savings account I don't think. I only think inheritance effects any benefits you get.
i'm really not buying this.. does he seem the type? I thought tiktok challenges were based around the teenagers that use it - dances and crap like that. He doesn't seem the type to have a bunch of trendy teens as mates doing that shizz to fit inLBC is really pushing the narrative that this was an online challenge gone wrong. They are linking Archie to the case of the two young girls in America and their reporter is speaking to a family member there. Apparently the family of one of the girls is wracked with guilt that they didn't know about the challenge.
It's shocking she's allowing this to continue. That poor boy, where is the mercy in it for him? Heartbreaking .Archie’s suffered coning so parts of his brain has been pushed through the opening at the base of his skull. His brain hasn’t had blood flow for months and his brain scans look like what you’d see at post-mortem. He also has necrotic tissue in multiple parts of his body. His organs are failing.
There’s being brain dead and then there’s what Archie has so the case you’re referring to isn’t comparable.
He is literally decomposing in his hospital bed and his medical team stated he only had weeks left before he’d suffer a horrific and chaotic death. All the days are starting to merge but I’m pretty sure they said that over a week ago so he’s already into that timeframe? It’s kinder to the boy to withdraw treatment.
I'm not saying the nhs has made mistakes in Archie's case, I think they have done everything they possibly can for him and there aren't any mistakes made here, he's in a stable condition due to what the nhs are doing for him. But people are attacking the nhs, my arguments here are if they took this private, then paid for services car and do make mistakes, there is nothing any form of medicine or treatment plan can do anymore for Archie than what our nhs are currently doing.Oops sorry this thread moves so fast!!! I’d put money on the fact very few people saying this, can afford private healthcare if it comes to it. So they’d be back on Facebook moaning because their family member died due to not being able to afford medicine. It’s so sad, even if they had made a mistake I’m sure it was a MISTAKE
I would assume it would do more harm than good too his body anyway very quickly - Proper CPR on a living being is rough! Perhaps it may even be a bit gruesome whatever state the body is inI have just this minute read that she plans on giving mouth to mouth if his oxygen is discontinued.
How long does she think she can sustain that for?
OK so gruesome but there will be a smellI’ve seen people on twitter ask why his body is not being overwhelmed by infection, if his brain stem etc is necrotic. As a nurse, in what seems like another lifetime ago, I’m trying to figure this one out.
I’m not actually sure that with his brain stem being dead, infection in itself is a risk as they see it. His body simply won’t react to it in terms of spiking a temp or producing white blood cells etc? I mean I’m not 100% sure.
How it will affect him is when the other organs begin to come under strain as one by one, they also start to shut down as a result of the necrosis elsewhere or in them.
I don’t know if any of the other HCPs here can enlighten me?
And they can breathe a sigh of reliefThe High Court is taking a while…I wonder if they’ve agreed to let him move just to end the whole charade.
That's my concern. I know his family are going through hell (and taking out the risk and toll a transfer might have on Archie, i.e., him dying in transit) but they'd have a new fresh team to manipulate and barter with. "Can we give him oxygen//we need to wait for his dad//the sun needs to come out//no, no, not Tuesday, that's a bad day in our calendar//I'm not happy with the nurse."The High Court is taking a while…I wonder if they’ve agreed to let him move just to end the whole charade.
This is it. Let’s say for a moment he could have some kind of ‘recovery’, what does she even expect his life would be if - is she under the impression he’d be rehabilitated back to a gymnast, boxing teen?!Its this whole save everything culture. I'm a mum my kids are my life but I know deep down if they couldn't run play smile or interact in anyway I wouldn't want that life for them.
She needs to put her ego down and cuddle her boy before she can't and regrets it for the rest of her life.
Dreadful I know but don't they have to film it and post it?LBC is really pushing the narrative that this was an online challenge gone wrong. Apparently the family of one of the girls is wracked with guilt that they didn't know about the challenge.
I remember when it first happened and she told the story how she found him and was begging him to come back to her and not to leave her. Nothing about him coming back because he’s a 12 year old child and had all his life ahead of him…
