My thoughts exactly. They are either as stupid as her, or as deluded as her, or not listened to. You’d hope there would be a sensible Aunt or Grandparent trying to get her to see what a mockery she is making of Archie’s dignity, and herself.
Just reading all the hashtags on twitter, they’re all very pro-nhs and disagreeing with all the appeals etc

Thank you so much for all you do..My son owes his life to the neonatal intensive care staff at GOSH. This was 36 years ago but I would no more have challenged expert medical opinions then than fly and I would never have craved media attention over such a terrible and tragic situation. How dare that woman blame the hospital. So much money has already been spent keeping a young boy breathing-I won't say "alive"-when it's only benefiting her agenda and not her son's terminal condition. Shame on her and her ghastly family and "friends"/hangers on.Long time lurker of the thread here

What I can't get my head is;
1) why I bothered getting my nursing degree and slogging my guts away for the past 15 years when I could have learnt all I needed to know from Jo from Basildon at the Facebook school of medicine
2) why there has been absolutely no critique of the parents or this whole sorry situation by the media? I've been so relieved to have this thread and read sensible, articulate views and explainations of the legal documentation (not my area at all!) So many people I know, both personally and professionally, have completely the wrong end of the stick and truely believe he's in a coma and might just need more timebut then it's no wonder when the facts are being glossed over.
Don't get me started on the go fund me bull, that's a whole different horrific saga isn't it? Absolutely bewildered by it all

I honestly don’t know what she expects r.e. constant nurses, one it’s probably because you can’t be trusted and two, it’s because your son is so far gone he needs this level of care to keep him ‘alive’ as per your request.
They always encourage you to do the cares e.g. bathing when your child is in hospital and tbh they are probably too scared to bloody touch him anymore than they have to. So this should come as no surprise to her either. They aren’t being cruel, it’s protocol.

I beg to differ that she WAS complaining. You don't say your child is recieving no care without it being a complaint. And the personal care should be done as much as possible by a parent. To say she always bathes him and washes his hair implies she thinks someone else should do it.
