I genuinely think she must be low IQ and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. The previous incidents with her kids would have been obvious safeguarding risks to anyone of average intelligence. She also clearly has absolutely no grasp whatsoever on the gravity of her son’s condition and she doesn’t seem to be able to understand what’s happening at all

It’s a typical example of ignorance & arrogance. I know people like her. I’ve worked with people like her. Lack of culture, lack of understanding the real world, thriving in a mob mentality. I really don’t want to discriminate but Essex really does produce some proper morons.

Sorry to ask, I asked before but no answer. If by some miracle she’s approved to take him to a hospice, can the hospital refuse transfer? Equipment? Staff?

If I was a hospice manager, I'd refuse solely on the basis that I wouldn't want that circus affecting the tranquillity of my premises.

Archie always said that if he was ever in a situation where he ended up in a protracted court battle over his right to life, they should take a luxury holiday to give themselves a break. Such a prescient little chap

I also think that she has an inferiority complex and kicks off when faced with people who are better educated, more intelligent, super polite and better behaved than her. Their positives accentuate her negatives and it bugs the hell out of her.

What I can't get my head is;
1) why I bothered getting my nursing degree and slogging my guts away for the past 15 years when I could have learnt all I needed to know from Jo from Basildon at the Facebook school of medicine

2) why there has been absolutely no critique of the parents or this whole sorry situation by the media? I've been so relieved to have this thread and read sensible, articulate views and explainations of the legal documentation (not my area at all!) So many people I know, both personally and professionally, have completely the wrong end of the stick and truely believe he's in a coma and might just need more time but then it's no wonder when the facts are being glossed over.

Don't get me started on the go fund me bullshit, that's a whole different horrific saga isn't it? Absolutely bewildered by it all

I’m from Essex (though not a moron... can confirm we have plenty of them) and AF is my MP. I will be writing to her tomorrow to express my profound disappointment that she has personally supported this campaign which at best undermines our wonderful NHS staff and at worst is a guilty mother covering up the fact her child was driven to suicide.

I don’t believe Archie had any idea what’s going on so I can feel strongly about letting him go peacefully as I believe he’s been gone a long time but I do feel strongly about releasing all those medical staff from effectively keeping a corpse alive for months. It’s grotesque and I hope they have proper support afterwards.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but why the hell are 8,9 and 4 year olds watching bloody tik tok? I think the parents need to shoulder some of the blame since tik tok is 13+ and any idiot can see after 2 minutes of watching it that it isn't suitable for small children!!

I've read some of her screenshots and she discusses her son's penis with him (the older one( nd her exes (her son's dad) even says it didn't fill her mouth up she's vile. Very strange relationship more will come out about it be surprised if Archie wasn't on the social services radar.

Good God, she really is insufferable! The last thing I would do is allow my child to be photographed, pose next to him with great big smiles, use his poor image to generate publicity. What about Archie's right to privacy? When the Trust and the Court treats a child with more dignity than a mother does.

It’s truly disgusting. Our son was 17 when he died so the press weren’t allowed to name him without permission which we didn’t give nor did we give a statement or allow the police to speak on out behalf. There was a lot of interest in our sons case because he died on Christmas Eve and the papers like a good sob story but we still refused so it was just mentioned briefly outlining his age, where he lived and what happened but his name was never published even in all our local papers even though they knew his identity. I personally find her courting the press abhorrent.

I feel for the hospital team so much. They are not paid to take this shit off anyone. I cannot believe that Hollie/Lisa has not had one tiny positive experience for the nearly four months Archie has been there. She is an entitled hypocrite and the child that this has been about has been lost in all of her side show.

Sorry but they're not even trying to pretend this is for Archie anymore. She's fighting for his "right to live" but also wants him moved to a hospice, a place for end-of-life care. If her son's dignity and comfort have always been her priority, why is a hospice only just being mentioned when she has no options left? It's a circus and the courts need to say no more appeals, you're done, you have no argument.

Does anyone know on here how/why Archie’s hand seemed to hold onto her fingers in that video/news clip? I’m sure there’s a reason but don’t know what.

Reflex. as a family we’ve been in a similar situation twice. On husbands side his grandfather suffered a stroke and was declared brain dead some days later. when we visited him his breathing was very heavy and loud and he’d grip your hand hard if you held his hand. (watching that video of Archie supposedly breathing, I could hear his heavy breathing and it took me back - though grandad wasn’t on a machine).

it was explained to us that it was only a reflex though. Mother in law had to make the difficult decision to withdraw treatment so he could pass which broke her heart but she did it. She was overcoming breast cancer and having chemo at the time, her mother passed away 9 months later too, then mother in law did herself less than two years later.

She never stood a chance with all those shocks and she was left with an autistic sister in her 60’s to arrange care for. When she passed it was our turn to look after auntie and she wanted for nothing I can tell you - but it was very very hard to get help as there’s no money about. Auntie passed Four years ago and I miss her dearly, we had some cracking laughs with her.

I tell you all this because every family goes through some shit don’t they (I’m being made redundant this week too). Archie’s mum isn’t special,

It seems to me that if she put this much energy into his life before he tragically tried to take it, circumstances may have been a lot different.

I highly doubt this was a challenge gone wrong, she needs to be investigated, even during the most fragile borrowed time they have left to say goodbye on a dignified manner she’s spending it in front of the media circus.

I just watched the Sky interview, I can't believe Hollie is on camera saying the word murder. That's a very strong statement to make.

I really feel for all the professionals who have been caring for Archie who will have had to hear that.

She's a delusional tramp. You can't murder or execute someone who is already dead
