Holly was on The UK Tonight on Sky news. "The impact of social media on children" !!??
When your 12 year old son has to reach out to WhatsApp groups and TikTok to tell people he's depressed and to try and get support because nobody in his real life family will listen to him. Is it social media that's the bad thing? I don't think so!

Just seen. Of course Hollie had to make an appearance. The comments about confidentiality of the doctor towards the patient not applying in reverse are legitimate but I feel that’s beside the point here. These bereaved parents are only looking to name the doctors in order they can be marked out and publicly vilified. It will have repercussions and could lead to people trying to refuse care from certain doctors, and could potentially put people off choosing a career in paeds or palliative care. The case stories in point seem, on the face of it, to be typical of this type of scenario whereby the situation was hopeless and the parents have been unable to accept that. What do other people think?https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmj6egzge6zo.amp

Surprise surprise, the lawyer representing the families is Bruno Quintavalle, who has worked on a number of those children's cases on behalf of the Christian Legal Centre.

I’m sure he was the one who got reprimanded by the judge in the AB case? Or possibly another one. No idea how he’s allowed to practice law

If he keeps practicing, he may one day get the hang of it.
He is in it for himself, the children are just his way of gaining "fame". In my eyes he is a parasite, feeding on the grief of others.

Just saw someone on YouTube get attacked for claiming Archie was a victim of child abuse and that's one of the reasons why he ended his own life. The fact is, it's true, in particular that time when she made him pick up litter on a really hot day and made a remark about it to Archies friends. Some of Hollies followers didn't believe doing that to a child is abusive but bare in mind, Ruby Franke ( the woman who used to have the YouTube channel "8 Passengers" who was arrested for child abuse last year) used to make her youngest son and daughter pick up litter in the hot sun as punishment and also made them pick up weeds in a local cemetery in the hot sun as punishment. It wasn't the worst thing she did to her children but the fact is, it is abusive. It's public humiliation to use that as punishment, in the heat you are also effecting their physical health, poor Archie even had his friends watching him. Archie was a victim of child abuse, even down to the clear emotional neglect when he was crying out for help with his depression . Hollie's supporters still can't see through her behaviour one and a half years later 🤦‍♀️

Time out, writing lines and picking up litter in hot weather is extreme for any 7/8 year old but didn’t he also have adhd? ‘Messing around’ at the end of a lesson is typical adhd behaviour and he was punished for it 😞 he should have actually received positive encouragement for the amount of time he DID engage with the lesson for. Not punished for the bit at the end he struggled with because he was probably burnt out.

I would have guessed that’s a nonsense for social media. The kid was excluded from schools for behaviour which isn’t a decision that’s taken lightly at his young age. She had no control over his behaviour at all.

Her spelling and grammar have taken a nosedive since then but her whole post sounds fabricated for social media as you say. She was probably more focused on her online profile than on her disruptive son's anti social behaviours.

But children who are being harmed at home can act up in school as a cry for help. Most of the time teachers don't recognise the behaviour as a cry for help and just see a "badly behaved" child instead. So the children who would benefit from counselling or extra support in schools are excluded or suspended instead, and where do they go? Back home where all their problems are. He had ADHD and what looks like a terrible family, he wasn't going to be a child who always controlled his emotions and behaviour and coped all the time, especially not in an education system that doesn't see mental health as a priority. The first time Archie was excluded from school, the school said he was hiding under tables and attempting to run away, both are behaviours that children who have trauma show, they also mentioned that they thought Archie had attachment disorder which most of the time is caused by neglect and abuse in early childhood. Hollie mentioned once about Archie having attachment disorder and she acted like it is nothing, she would never admit how it can be caused because she would have to admit to her failures.
