If it is closed for 12 months then it will impact a lot further than the staff. All the local food suppliers eg Roof and David's Hasset Hills lamb and the Herefords, Josh's eggs, Rex's pigs, Helen's horrid cheese - all seem to have Grey Gables as one of their main buyers.The end of GreyGables???

Yes good point. Just after a pandemic when hotels were closed for the guts of at least a year too. They must have numerous wedding bookings for this year on catch up?
On another note I love Jazzer and Tracey. They are just so good together.

I hope Tracey can forgive Oliver. He handled the closure of Grey Gables badly, but he did originally give her a chance when others wouldn't. Has provided her with 3 years work which will look good on her CV.

Exactly, was quite vindictive of Oliver to give Tracy a written warning rather than a stern verbal one when he knew at the time that he was selling Grey Gables.
Of course I never thought of it like that.
This last week has been quite odd. That bit with Shula, Jim, Alistair and the kitchen rep. They do make things harder for themselves by elaborate lying. I would've thought pillar of the church Shula would disapprove of such things.
