Someone called Rebecca advised her to do this to leave space at the sides for lights. I don't think she meant that much space tbh just looks odd... Groundbreaking! Could have chosen some more colorful cushions

Yeah most people do which is why it’s so prevalent. Not against it at all, just think people should say they’ve had it done so as not to promote unattainable standards.

I don’t understand how this is a cosy corner. Those windows aren’t for leaning on, and the fact her house is mouldy means there’s a lack of ventilation, so they’re likely going to be steamed most of the winter. The cushions will end up damp and mouldy if they’re pushed up against those windows, too. Nothing is practical, it doesn’t make any sense.
