I don’t know, I mean we aren’t robots it’s simply human error and it happens to all of us. In terms of grammar you don’t need a disability to just be crap at it. You can probably see from my comments I’m someone who just struggles with grammar so let’s not be so picky aye?

But in a forum content making mistakes is fine.

I think given Anna’s work requires her to produce ‘content’ in terms of both photos and text, it’s okay to be a bit critical of her lack of proof-reading. If someone is making money for their IG stories and affiliate links, yes, I expect them to spell correctly in those same stories.

I just can’t believe this is the same Anna I used to enjoy following and would listen to her advice.

It’s one thing dressing like an Anglo Saxon villager but her personality… she’s become so smug since becoming pregnant and it’s almost like it’s her personality now. She’s one of those friends who gets pregnant, literally talks over you with pregnancy stuff and then slowly ditches you if you don’t worship her golden womb!

I keep wondering why the quality, quantity and overall vibe of her content has gone downhill ever since Mark came on board. Surely the opposite should have happened, right? The only thing that seems to have improved is the number of ads, which they can produce more efficiently.

I know this is a stretch but I think that Mark does not truly appreciate Anna's field of work. He appreciates the perks and the money but not the actual work. If he did, he would actually try to improve his skills and also push her to do her absolute best. He always seems to find the motivation to work towards the things he enjoys (biking, brewing, sourdough baking, gardening) but with his actual work, he seems to do the absolute minimum at best. His content creation skills are mediocre and have not improved at all in almost two years. He's a smart guy and has all the resources available, most of them free of charge, but he simply does not care.

This is a really dangerous setting (I almost wrote situation but Anna has ruined that word for me) for Anna. She worships Mark and takes him very seriously. I don't see her giving him constructive criticism or pushing him to improve. If anything, she may have taken on this attitude as well. As long as the money keeps rolling in, why would she do more than she has to?

Oh Anna. Honestly I think this Daily Edit may backfire and cost her subscribers.

Yesterday’s capsule make up video was a real WTF. Not only did it come the day after her second “using all product from one brand” and therefore really highlighted how huge her make up collection is, it also just showed how out of touch she is with her audience. I laughed when she said something like “it’s so hard to choose just one foundation, that you could build up more for a wedding but also use for everyday” (paraphrased obviously). Anna, babes, ALOT of people only have one foundation, especially high end cos that shit is expensive. That’s a really common thing to consider when choosing a foundation!

And then the “Work With Me” - I’ve not watched this yet, but can only assume it’s going to be eye roll inducing.

For me, I think a huge problem with Mark working for her is that he’s a distraction. While previously I thought she didn’t really acknowledge her privilege in being able to work out whenever she wanted or pop out for errands, she did genuinely seem to spend most of the working day working. I think that was in large part due to the fact that Mark was out at work, so she worked during that time to fill her days.

Now that Mark is “working” with her, she shows a lot more bird watching, spending time in the garden, visiting friends and family during the work day etc than she ever did before. And that would be fine if the purpose of Mark coming on board was to provide them both with more free time to do those things. The problem is that it SHOWS. Her content is no where near as good as it once was. I think she needs to readdress her work life balance.

Is it just me or has almost every influencer's content completely tanked over the past one and a half years? Even before corona I've found myself really underwhelmed and frustrated with what people have been putting out, bar a few exceptions. It's like everyone collectively decided to drop their "I'm doing this for youuuu, you're my friends"-facade and has just been schilling absolutely everything they were offered and put out consistently lazy, obviously sloppy content. Quality has gone to shit, content itself has gone to shit, quantity seems to have become more important than quality. I'm still kind of puzzled what happened for them fall off so massively all at once.
One thing I've noticed that influencers seem to lose touch with reality once they move into their huge houses, I've seen it with Lily, Anna and Jamie Genevieve. It's SO WEIRD. None of them seems to be aware of it either, considering how non-responsive they are to criticism and the deleting comments that are not completely arse-kissing.

I thought maybe my standards have become too high but I know a lot of people think the same considering this page and comments on IG and YT.

I can’t even put her videos on as background noise anymore! I just started my new job as admin in an emergency room, and the shifts are LONG - I saw my first death, 10 minutes after I had just talked to the person and they were RESPONSIVE, immediately followed by another and then spent the day with the doctor and saw how much it really does affect even a seasoned doctor.

After that, and seeing all that the ER docs do, it’s hard for me to have any sort of patience for Anna, honestly. I just can’t be bothered to give a shit about her morning routine; these doctors are burnt out after working through Covid and could get much better paying jobs working for insurance companies, a normal desk job, but they don’t! They show up day in and day out and put in the work and never complain about it because they genuinely want to help people..

I just can’t deal with that incessant giggle or the Botched version of Ryan Gosling anymore

5 mins into today's vid and already been annoyed several times. She's mentioned the small breakfast - workout - big breakfast routine AGAIN!!! Guys I honestly might unsubscribe just for that cause this is actually the 6th time she's mentioned it. How mind-numbingly boring must your life be that that's all you can think to talk about?

AND THEN. This totally unnecessary cameo from Mark when Anna was in the middle of her pilates class. They're just playing up to the sycophantic fans who get off on their "perfect relationship". I don't doubt they love each other, but stuff like this feels really overdone and disingenuous now - just feels like they've (/Mark has) learned to really turn it up for the 'why can't we all have a Mark' comments. It's a very hard no from me.

And just to add, I hate how she keeps turning away from the camera to tell Mark what it is she’s talking about, hence repeating the same thing twice. That so badly needs to be edited.

Can you imagine being on a work call and turning to explain in detail what you’re doing when your partner walks in the room? Either stop, put down the camera and speak to Mark before resuming, or get Mark to edit that out.

I also don’t understand why he comes into the room so often when she’s filming? This is her (both of theirs actually) job. Again, it’s a bit like asking your partner to stay out the room when you’re on a work call. Surely Anna should shout to Mark that she’s filming in X room for however many minutes and can he stay out of that room until she’s done?

Her doing daily videos allows for her to times her income by 7...for a whole month. Basically doing 7 months work in one. I can’t imagine any other industry where a woman could times her salary by SEVEN just before going on maternity leave. We all know her income isn’t going to be zero anyway, but who cares when she’s earned seven times the usual.

OK, I'm watching the vlog, even though I stopped watching her videos years ago because they've all become same to me and bore me to tears. I am just curios wtf they do all day, so here it is:

1. Mark is in shot ofc, shouting over Anna so I can't even hear her. No one wants you here Mark, stop seeking attention. He looks hideous to boot.
2. They have two breakfasts every day before they even start their "work"...

7. As Anna is going through her night routine Mark comes in the bedroom, hears her talking to the camera and quickly rushes to the bathroom on the pretense to wash his hands, but actually to stick his repulsive face in the camera
8. She is currently reading 3 pregnancy/baby books and hasn't finished a single one because she falls asleep after reading 3 pages...

So that's it. For the whole day of work, two people manages to take a few crappy snaps between the two of them.

ETA: What kind of fuckery is this? Her phone says 20:28, wasn't she supposed to be filming this in the morning?

The cake video is filmed pre May 3, according to her instagram picture of this cake. So, this basic cake featured a gazillion times across her social media platforms. Repeat, repeat, repeat... I really hate how she makes money of the same thing. She bakes one cake for fun and not only she makes her friend happy, but she also uses it for her business not only once or twice, but so many times. It's just one simple cake! Mind boggling.
